Convincing prospective ECAs that TripleClics can be great for local sales could be a daunting task, but we can’t give up just because the work is difficult. We need to convince them inspite of the task being difficult.
Do not approach this as a one-time thing. The ECA program is going to get bigger and better over the coming months and years. Therefore, keep or database all your prospect company addresses, phone numbers, etc. so that you can do follow-ups in the coming months. Size-wise, small- to mid-sized companies are your best bets to start with. You'll have a much easier time getting through to the decision-makers and they likely won't have multiple layers of management to stall action.
Take out a print of all other ECA in your country and hand over a copy to each prospective ECA along with Frequently Asked Questions. Visit them the next day to ask questions and ask them their doubts on the program. Mostly they will be ready to enroll themselves, otherwise clarify their doubts.
Show them the importance of selling online not only locally but also in other cities and other countries world-wide. Anyone would like to expand one’s business. Only you need to keep visiting them from time to time till they get convinced. Tell them the program is free to join and they lose nothing by joining it.
