Don't Expect Others To Be Perfect, Too!!!

Posted 10 days ago More by Bruce H.

Don't Expect Others To Be Perfect, Too!!! Be likeable. Strive to be the type of person that most people like. By doing so, you will be acquiring their support and will inspire you to build a successful marketing business. Always take the initiative in building friendships. Introduce yourself to others at every opportunity. Be sure you get the other person's name correct and make certain they get your name straight too. It is wise to drop a brief personal note to your new friends that you want to get to know better. Always accept human differences and limitations of others. Don't expect anyone to be perfect. Remember, other people have a right to be different, that difference makes them more interesting. Don't try to be a dreaded reformer. Have that Good Thoughts demeanor/character. Be sure to find qualities to admire and like in other people, not things to dislike. And for heaven's sake don't let others prejudice your thinking about another person. If you think positive thoughts about others you more than likely will get the positive results/feed-back that you desire. Practice generosity in your conversations with others. Be just like other $uccessful people you know. Encourage the others to talk, (Everybody enjoys telling their story, if asked.) (What I mean, ask about what, and where they were at, what they are doing/up to, now, and what they plan/or want to do, in the future. (Nice to know their opinions on things, stay away, far away, from politics, off-color jokes, religion & judgements of others.) Practice courtesy always and in all-ways, it certainly makes others feel better, and it really makes your head and heart feel great also. One last point, please, pretty please, don't ever blame other people when you receive a bump in your road to Success. Just remember, how you think when you have set-backs, and you will at times, will determine how long it will be until you win. (not long at all, why?, because you have "winner-winner, chicken dinner" and "champion" written all over you, from the top of your head to the soles of your feet. All your SFI Family picture you in having great $uccess in your very own Marketing Business. Bless you and yours, Bye for now. Bruce Harper

Dear Bruce, I really enjoyed this article of yours. It is such a good reminder of how we should treat new contacts as well as our old friends. "Just remember, how you think when you have set-backs, and you will at times, will determine how long it will be until you win. (not long at all, why?, because you have "winner-winner, chicken dinner" and "champion" written all over you, from the top of your head to the soles of your feet." The above paragraph made smile and laugh. It is such a nice description of what we can be in the eyes of others if we follow your advice. Thank you so much and have a nice day. Yours truly!
