It is evidenced that providing financial support to one's team members, by investing in them, may be useful in helping them growth their business faster.

But, it is far from being the only effective mean for guiding them to success. Nor is it necessarily the best. It is certainly not the most constantly used to encourage affiliates to be active and productive.

In fact, as sponsors, our role is, first and foremost, defined as friend, and mentor. Our job is to establish a one-on-one business relationship with our PSAs.

We achieve such goal of being an effective sponsor by following the established guidelines.

Among the suggested sponsoring support that has direct link with investing funds on an affiliate, we find:

- Offering incentives, such as free leads, and SFI Gift Certificate, etc. to encourage affiliates to accumulate VersaPoints and become an Executive Affiliate.

- Adding them to the S-Builder Co-op we may have set for our own advertisement.

- Helping them qualify for the Silver and Gold Fast Tracks.

- Rewarding contest winners with worthwhile prizes that keep them interested in take part in those contests in the future while they also get the benefits of building their businesses.

To reach the same intended results, there are numerous ways to substitute other activities and forms of support..

Instead of free leads and/or membership to our S-Builder co-op, we can re-assign some of our sign-ups to the affiliate we want to help.

Instead of gift certificates, we can direct the affiliate to undertake the sales activities that will help them score enough Sales VersaPoints that will qualify them as Executive affiliate while they are earning commissions.

We should educate them on the alternative ways to qualify for Gold Fast Track, using the second chance options available to affiliates who miss the deadlines of the first ten days, after joining SFI.

More importantly, what provides true lasting benefits is the trust we build with our affiliate. When we create that special rapport, bond and friendship, our PSA will feel understood, valued, and cared for. They will know that we have their best interest in mind. They will be responsive to our guidance; they will use our tips. They will take our advice to focus on sales and sponsoring.

They will be highly active to their own benefits and ours.

It comes up on the forum very often, pointing to issues such as too high and non competitive prices, poor description of items being offered and lack of clarity on the benefits of what is being sold.

Your question is important and vital. It touches on two critical e-Commerce aspects: pricing and market niches. It shows your interest and commitment in helping your ECAs succeed. That success will reflect not only on you but, on all of us as it would show Tripleclicks as a competitive e-Commerce portal, attractive to customers and other potential ECAs.


Without this, we all will struggle to bring in ECAs.

On pricing:

The ECA is an e-Retailer who is going to compete with every website offering similar products. Thus, the prices need to be competitive. In the case of brick and mortar retail stores, customers use their handheld devices to compare prices. When products are very similar, customers will of course choose the least expensive.

The same goes for the ECA. A customer will search the worldwide web and compare prices. For that reason, savvy ECAs need to do heir their homework, price their products competitively and readjust the prices frequently to remain competitive.

On market niches.
Market research must be conducted to determine trends and customers' preferences. The world wide web has specifics of which successful sellers need to be aware. A well informed ECA will conduct such market analysis and tweak their offerings to respond to market demand.

This is in a nutshell the foundation of e-Commerce success and Tripleclicks ECAs need to be aware of them.

There are three areas where we can make a positive difference for the ECAs, improve their introduction into Tripleclicks and their overall image within SFI and outside.

1. Choosing the market niches and presenting their products in a very attractive manner, to respond to market trends. Some preliminary research may be needed to that. In the line of their current business, what are the new trends that appeal the most to customers? How to build on that information and set up e-commerce presence that would be successful? ECAs will need to update this analysis on a regular basis

2. Product description with features and benefits. A clear presentation will go a long way in attracting and keeping customers.

3. Helping ECAs connect with as many Affiliates as possible and working with them to promote, and market products as well as help them successful address customer service issues. Any affiliate may promote the products of any ECAs and get paid commissions.

As an active affiliate, we should have immediate support from our direct, closest upline (sponsor and co-sponsor). For higher Upline ranks, some initiative of our part may be necessary.

If they are awesome, effective sponsor and co-sponsor, our direct closest upline will be immediately aware when we join their team. Our sponsor will get notifications of our registration, when we complete our profile, and when we sent them a commitment letter.

Our co-sponsor will also be aware as soon as we are added to their Second Home CSAs.

To gain maximum support from your sponsor, I highly recommend that you react to the messages and other forms of communication he sends to you (for example, welcome letter, E-Cards, SFI IM chat requests, team mail, and the like). Your sponsor will highly appreciate your feedback, your positive comments and your questions. They are various forms by which you are letting him/her know that you welcome their efforts to help you and you value them.

More importantly, be regular and constant in building your own business. If you log in every day, work thoroughly your to-do list, bid on auctions, play the Eager Zebra game, make the efforts of sponsoring new affiliates, your activity will put you up among your sponsor and co-sponsor's top "movers."

Your sponsor may organize contests. Make sure your are an active participant and strive to distinguish yourself with excellent results in them.

When any member of your Upline wins at the Daily Grand, their name will appear on the winners list that will display on your page. They will appreciate that you send them a congratulations E-Card for the occasion. You are also among their followers at the Forum. Do not hesitate to comment on their forum posts, or compliment them for their active Forum participation.

These are some of the ways you can attract the attention of your higher rank Upline, beside your sponsor and co-sponsor.

All the above will make you highly visible to your Upline. They will find it stimulating and rewarding to provide you with all the support they can. They all know that they have vested interest in your success.

However, your success should be based mostly on your own efforts, using all the support resources and tools available within SFI. There are numerous highly successful affiliates who are not getting any form of support, even remote, intermittent contacts with their upline. This has not been detrimental to their progress and success.

There are many areas, in the world, where internet access is not available 24 hours/7 days a week, or it may not be fully reliable. As SFI continues to grow worldwide and to innovate in diversified business segments and industries, such as the expansion of the Eager Zebra games, as sponsors, we are likely to have more team members in a situation of limited internet access. For example, soccer players and fans are all over the world. They are prime target prospects for FIFA EU.

Every sponsor should be fully aware and prepared to assist their team members cope with similar limitations.

When we are fully motivated, we can overcome any obstacle on our way. If a prospect has already registered and willing to put in the needed efforts to grow their business, there are ways to overcome limited internet access.

As sponsors, we can fully motivate and assist such affiliates in their training, set their goals, clarify their vision of what they want to achieve with their SFI membership, and devise with them strategies and action plans that will help them reach those goals. This is a first, critical step. It is to help the affiliate strength their commitment to SFI and their focus on accomplishing the minimum daily tasks within that short time they have access to internet as well as taking action on growing their own teams.

It is important that we help the affiliate learn how to work diligently and maximize their output in the limited time they have.

As for advertising, prospecting and sales, offline activity offers great potential. Offline advertising and marketing should be the prime focus of the affiliate's efforts to build their team. Newspapers advertising and telephone marketing can successfully yield excellent results.

An effective approach is for the sponsor to help his team member be fully familiar with the marketing aids and methods available at the marketing center.

The sections that focus on 'beginners" at the Marketing Center, offer a series of aids and methods highly suitable for offline marketing. When they are properly and efficiently applied, the marketing aids and methods for beginners can help the affiliate achieve success, even with a limited internet access. That success is one of the great motivators when it is combined with our continued support and positive communication.

As the affiliate makes progress, and see their business grow, we should keep in mind the "Awesome Sponsor" guidelines and make an intelligent use of the tips within. We should also introduce our affiliates to the "Rules of Success" so as to raise their awareness of potential difficulties that are difficult to predict, which should not deter them in the pursuit of the dreams that brought them to SFI.

As we all know, when we bring in ECAs, we earn on what they sell. We also can be ECAs on our own. Your questions is very opportune in helping us all think about the benefits of being an ECA, how this is going to help us as SFI Affiliates. Sales are one of the most important SFI streams of income, beside sponsoring. There are three major parts of sales in SFI: (i) sales of tripleclicks products; (ii)sales of TCredits to non affiliates who want to bid on Pricebenders auctions; and (iii)e-Commerce Affiliate (ECA) sales.

The latter, e-Commerce Affiliate sales, has a tremendous potential for boosting our income. From my perspective, on how to motivate a potential affiliate to help them be successful with SFI, there are three series of questions I find useful to ask.

1. Whether they have been in business for themselves, and if so, what lessons have they learned from their experience in running it.

2. What goals they are pursuing now and what motivate them to seek to join an online business.

3. Do they currently have an online or a brick and mortar business they are running.

Their answers to these three questions will give me clear indications of the kind of an affiliate they may be in their first months with SFI.

Their experience or lack of there off, their motivation, their full commitment to SFI, their ability to work on their own, their capacity to adapt, all this critical information can be derived from those questions.

If you look at your SFI profile, right above, within "My Account", you will find these very questions at the core of the information we provide when we register.

As sponsors, we want to have it first hand for an evaluation of the success potential of our recruits.

Yes, we all want affiliates who are serious about this business; and, it is worthwhile emphasizing work ethics as critical to making it with SFI.

However, it is also critical that we do not sound as we are conducting a job interview.

We do want to find the best to bring into SFI. However, it is not always a 100% certainty that a prospect who seems to fit the above profile will be always successful.

It is not true either that a prospect who does not seem to fit that profile will not be successful.

In other words, we should never discourage anybody for joining SFI. Just imagine, you may sound negative or rejecting somebody, they turn around and register with another sponsor, and prove you wrong in your first impression.

The motive of our prospecting efforts should be to make potential affiliates aware of what it takes to be successful with SFI, but not to hinder their enrollment in any form. Again, we should avoid giving the impression that we are hiring for job.

The idea we should convey is that we are looking for business owners who will be our associates, with whom we are going to work together to help them reach their goals and achieve their dreams.

This is the message we need to convey. The questions we are going to ask should help bring out, from that prospect, that desire to succeed by working with us as SFI Team members.

I joined SFI with great excitement and high energy. Both increased many fold as I realized, through the training, the full extent of the potential of making it big and reaching very high.

The ending of a year, thus bringing in another opportunity for self examination, a review of our accomplishments or lack of thereof, the overall atmosphere of the holidays, the sharing with loved ones, all these are great opportunities for us to feel good, and positive about where we are headed in our lives and in our SFI business endeavor.

Hence, it is only natural that we seize these opportunities to search how we can improve our SFI results by re-energizing ourselves and aiming at higher goals.

Thus, the first step is to set new, loftier goals, based on a realistic audit of the past; "Aiming Higher" and "Dreaming Bigger" while keeping in mind where we fell short and how to avoid repeating our past mistakes..

Whether it is about keeping the initial levels of energy and excitement growing or renewing them, if for some reasons, we feel down, it is a matter of keeping in mind the motives that brought us here in the first place, and being fully aware of the reasons why we now feel less excited or less energized.

The human mind is capable of remarkable feats of self improvement and self motivation.

I find it highly beneficial to review again, refresh my knowledge and understanding of the various SFI/TripleClicks income streams and do more research on how I can leverage them for greater financial success.

With advancements in medicine and healthy living, their active life span is much longer today, while they still go into retirement at the same age as in the previous generations.

In general terms, they have experience, excellent work ethics, free time to devote to SFI, and often some disposable income to invest in their business, but not enough wealth to be free from financial worries.

In the industrialized countries, most of them are also fully computer literate.

Thus they are an excellent target for prospecting SFI affiliates.

Hence, your question: "What would be a good strategy for attracting senior citizen to SFL?"

If I am to develop a strategic campaign to recruits senior citizens, I would approach the task from two different angles: (i)) online marketing and (ii) offline prospecting.

In both approaches, I would use the economics, demographics and financial data specific to the senior citizens population, with emphasis on how SFI can help them solve their current problems, namely improving their financial standing and supplementing their retirement income.

Senior citizens were among the economic groups most severely hit by the financial and economic crisis that affected the world economy since 1988. And, they are among those demographic segments that have not yet fully recovered.

These are the arguments we can use to help senior citizens find interest in joining SFI.

Where to find them?

1. Offline, there are various places such as public libraries, retirement homes, and other specific locations where senior citizens form the majority. These places vary depending on cities, counties, regions and countries. I recommend to anybody who is interested to conduct some research specific to their focus areas.
