When I am asked by a prospect what my role in SFI is, what should my answer be?

Because SFI has so many options or ways to earn money it is easy to make it too complicated and when you start explaining it to prospects you make their head spin and they might feel overwhelmed.
The truth is - it is very simple.
You are a business owner.
Your business is an independent internet marketing business promoting SFI and TrippleClicks.
You do not work for SFI or TrippleClicks, you work for yourself. You are not working to make somebody else rich, you are working to support yourself, earn money for you and your loved ones.
You are a student of internet marketing because you learn valuable skills.
You are a mentor, teacher and guide (sponsor) to your down line.
You do not have a boss - you are your own boss.
Keep your explanation true and simple. Never lie to them and be enthusiastic.

To build a successful SFI business, how much should I rely on my sponsor?

A good sponsor's worth is invaluable however it is a bonus and not a given. When building a business you have to rely on yourself. It is your sponsor's job to guide you, teach you whatever they can but it is not their job to build your business for you.
I am very fortunate that I have an awesome sponsor and co-sponsor. Their support means the world to me but if I fail it will not be their fault - it will be my own fault.
Build a good relationship with your sponsor and learn what you can from them but look at yourself to make a success of your business.

How do I convince people that SFI is a unique and rare opportunity that they shouldn't miss out on?

SFI truly is unique in many different ways
1. It is FREE. You have a choice to make it easier and spend some money to grow your business quicker and avoid not qualifying or you can do it without spending money - although it is a little more difficult to do.
2. You can actually show them your own income statement - seeing is believing.
3. You are part of a community - you know you are dealing with real people and you can reach human beings
4. Have you ever tried to get hold of anybody on other sites? I have never come across a site where you can actually get hold of support in different ways (via phone, post and tickets) or where they actually answer you if you manage to send an e-mail.
5. How many sites offer so much training, help and tools for FREE?
6. How many sites offer you a sponsor and an up line to help and support you?
7. Where else can you make suggestions on how to improve the business and it is taken into consideration? They usually tell you - this is how it is, if you do not like it leave. Why can they do this? Because you paid money to them already and in your place 5 other suckers will sign up.
8. SFI actually allows you to make suggestions and if it is viable they implement it, if it is not - they explain why it can not be done.

There are many actions in SFI for which you can earn VersaPoints. Which is the action you should recommend to your downline to focus on and why?

I don't think you can focus on one action and earn enough VP.
When you start I recommend you go to your VP ledger every day and see what is still available for you to do and do it. I would not recommend reading all your Launchpad lessons in one day - rather read one lesson a day, answer the question and earn the VP. I would also not recommend that you rush through all the start up actions just to qualify as EA. Do enough to get your Fast Track badge. That would be the actions like whitelisting all the e-mail addresses, uploading a photo, completing your profile. I would also tell them right from the start to log in every day and doing all the red tab actions.
Once you are settled in and you've done every action on your VP ledger (it would be at the end of the 2nd month) you continue doing your red tabs every single day. The number of Versa Points on your TO-DO list must be the same as the day. If today is the 10th of the month you have to have 10 VP for every red tab.
Make sure you do your monthly and weekly actions as soon as possible so you do not forget.
You also earn VP for bidding, sales and games you play.
In my opinion you have to do every action you possibly can and earn the maximum VP ou can.

It gives you the opportunity to learn new skills and make mistakes in the comfort of your own home, your safe place. No boss is going to shout at you making you feel stupid for making a mistake or not knowing how to do something.
If you are shy you can talk to people without looking them in the eye. In real life we usually look at people and "read" their body language and when it is negative it shuts your mouth very quickly. Online they can not put you off or shut you up with their body language or facial expressions. This will help you to build confidence.
You can work at your own pace - so if you learn quickly and you have a natural ability for this kind of job you will move quickly. If you have to put in a little more effort it is OK too because you are the boss and you have to have patience with yourself.
If money is an obstacle you are not doomed either - you can advertise for free at some sites. You can make sales by advertising and use the money you earn to build your business.

How do you know if you are capable of building a successful SFI business?

Do you want to build a successful SFI business? If your answer is without a doubt YES! you are capable of doing it.
Do you give up easily or do you persist? If you are persistent you can build a successful SFI business.
Do you expect overnight riches? If your answer is NO, you know what it takes and you can do it and be successful.
Do you regard this as a real business? If you answered YES, you are capable.
Do not doubt yourself. Believe in yourself and in your business and move forward but expect you might have some setbacks like any other business and plan how you can counter it. If you do not see a path and you do not have a plan of action for your business you are like a ship without a compass - no direction and going around in circles.

What can I do to get my new sign-ups to stay engaged with SFI for longer than one day?

That is the million dollar question. You can do a number of things - but no guarantees - it might or might not work. As long as you do your best there is nothing more you can do. You can not force them to sit down, log in and work. You can not force them to want to make a success.
So what can you do?
Welcome them and engage with them as soon as you find out they were assigned to you or they joined SFI. You can do this with an e-card, a welcome letter, Instant chat (if they happen to be online the same time as you)
You can send them gift certificates or T-credits.
Make sure they know who you are, what your role is and how they can contact you.
If they do not react there is not much more you can do. If you send a lot of mails they might block you because they will see it as spamming.
Keep on sending them you weekly team mail - it might reach one or two of them eventually.
Stay friendly, remind them you are there to help but do not nag or threaten or do anything negative - unless you really want to irritate them and drive them away.

Should I promote the sale of TripleClicks products to my team? If so, how?

Yes, you should.
Explain Transfer buying to them. It might not always be possible for them to buy products from TripleClicks because of where they live - but if it is they can benefit from it - they get quality products delivered to them at their homes.
If you have to buy a gift for somebody and you want it to be unique - Triple Clicks is a very good place to look.
You can buy products and books to further your business at a fraction of the cost of buying it elsewhere
When you buy from TripleClicks you can earn VP to help you to build your business.
Your best way to promote it is by doing it yourself. Never encourage them just to benefit you. Only encourage them if it can benefit them.

What can you do to make SFI more exciting and fun for your team?

Learning new things are pretty exciting already (for some people).
You can make it even more exciting by having mini contests for your team.
Example The 1st one to reach 500VP gets one T-credit
The 1st one to qualify as EA / Bronze / Silver team leader gets rewarded 2 / 5 / 10 T-credits (apart from the T-credits they get from SFI)
You can ask a question - they have to find the answer on the SFI or TripleClicks pages. The 1st one to send you a mail with the correct answer wins a prize (like a T-credit, a PSA, a CSA or e-book)
You do not have to spend a fortune on prizes - it is more about the challenge than the prize itself.
People tend to remember things a lot better if it is associated with something funny or a short story - try to use humour or little stories in your newsletters.
The best thing you can do is have fun yourself - it will filter through to your team.

I'm an ECA wanting to sell my products internationally. How do I determine how much to charge for shipping to other countries that is fair to both me and my customers?

My day job is in procurement. I buy stuff from all over the world and then bring it into SA.
So my advice to you would be to look at forwarding agents and get quotes from them. Ship all your sales through the agent you choose and negotiate good prices and payment terms with them. By going into a contract with one agent it means you do not have to negotiate on a price for every shipment and it means you can have a set price for shipments. You can work on averages - which is in my opinion not the fairest to your customers or you can have a set price per country.
One thing I found - if you look at the weight of a package - up to 15kg your best bet is airfreight. Above that you need to weigh the pro's and cons of air and ocean freight.
One thing is clear - whichever way you choose to go - there will be costs involved exporting and often the cost of the package will exceed the value of the goods. It will also help if you can have a central point you can ship to in a country and you ship all your orders for a month at once - but then you really need to have somebody you can trust at the receiving point.
Good luck - it is exciting but it is also full of rules and regulations and you need to tread lightly and do your homework.
