If you go to your Power Tools, then click on PSA mailer you'll see a button at the top for "need ideas?". There are a lot of good ones there.
I found a really good one on Complacency here. https://www.sfimg.com/PopUp/sampleMessage?msgid=202&sort=date&order=desc
How can I motivate my friends to join SFI?

You shouldn't have to do anything but give them your link and ask them to take a look. they have any objections, simple tell them that you can see they aren't ready to come aboard and they can contact you when and if they change their mind. Don't try to answer their questions, or try to explain anything. They have the information, it's free to join, and they can opt out anytime.
So let them make the decision.
Anyone you get to signup who expects to get rich quick is going to be sadly misinformed and wouldn't last long anyway.
So be patient, and give them the opportunity, and let them give you a quick no, rather than trying to show them everything.
Saying no now doesn't mean they won't come back at a later date and say yes.
There are plenty of fish in the sea, and they all bite on the bait they enjoy.

How do you keep affiliates who are yet to earn anything motivated when family and friends are consistently telling them they are wasting their time?

Remind them there are obstacles they need to overcome, and that true success evolves over time and isn't accomplished quickly. First they need to focus on the training and tell their family and friends that an education is never a waste of time. Secondly, they need to believe in themselves and their abilities enough to overcome the obstacle of allowing what other people say affect them to the point of giving up.
Have them ask their family and friends how long they think it would take a brand new business in their town to start making a profit. Most businesses have to invest thousands, even millions of dollars before they ever get into profit. Many with SFI who focus on their business and start building can see a paycheck in a few weeks or LESS.
Besides, don't have to explain much. Just tell them that no matter what anyone else thinks, it's their business, and they are the one who decides what to do about it. They can take as little or as much time as they need and hold their head up high knowing they were in the right place at the right time.
Tell them the negativity doesn't have to stop them in their tracks if they don't let it. Just don't say anything more about SFI until they're making money, then they have more proof.

How can I best respond to an affiliate who feels they worked hard but are unhappy with their first commission?

Remind them that this is pure profit, and any amount of pure profit is great, considering that some brick and mortar businesses don't see a profit for more than two years. Any profit in the first six months is really awesome. Just keep reminding her what a great job she's doing and tell her not to give up, things will get bigger and better as she grows with SFI.
Should I reach out to the affiliates on my 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. generations...or leave support to their sponsor?

Reaching out to them as their co-sponsor will make up for your sponsor being on vacation or all the times when their sponsor isn't available. This gives them an extra support to help them make their EA or higher status. Since you're not going to say the exact same thing as their sponsor, they will get help with things they may not be able to help with.
It also gives their sponsor a nice break when they can't be there.
So yes, you should always support your team, and all who come in contact with you, even if they don't always answer. They'll be getting your e-mails and seeing that they have a strong support system in place if they ever do need help.

What is the best way to make my Leadership Page more effective?

First of all, upload a professional looking picture of yourself where you are dressed for success and have a big smile.
The idea here is to build trust so don't put advertisements or endorsements for any other business or products on your page.
Make your page stand apart from others by coming up with unique subject matter, such as a clean joke or short story about why you joined SFI and what it's done for you so far.
Write everything in your own words. In other words, instead of the same thing everyone else is saying, make your page unique by writing it yourself in your own way.
Also make sure that for each tab, you do the same. Write as much as you can about WHO YOU ARE and not just what you do.

I have a large downline, but few are advertising SFI. How can I get them to start advertising and marketing SFI?

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink. All you can do is show them the way, set a good example and continue to support them any way you can. The rest is up to them. If they want to treat SFI like a business, they will, if they don't, they won't.
All we as sponsors can do is try to practice what we preach and lead the way.
How should you advise your downline--who have never run a business before--how to proceed with advertising?

I would advise them to read the ads in the classifieds section of the newspaper in their area and pay close attention to the ones that grab their attention. Then make a list of all the things that these ads have that others don't. Then try to pattern their ads after the ones that stand out the most.
I have many affiliates in my genealogy that haven't been active for weeks. Should I just ignore them?

Absolutely not! Keep doing what you've been doing until you see results. As you send emails to your geneology and groups, you'll find that some will never respond, but that doesn't mean to give up on them. As long as they haven't given up on you by removing themselves from your list, they may eventually see that you're for real and that you're still there for them and come around. So don't give up the faith.
How can I sponsor affiliates using email without spamming?

First of all, don't send e-mail to anyone you don't know. One of the safest ways to e-mail people and get your message out to to masses is to use a safelist. A safelist enables you to send ads to people in exchange for them being able to send you ads. These programs are permission based because everyone in the program has already agreed to receive these emails. So you never have to worry about them accusing you of spamming.
I have an ebook on this subject I can send on request. Or you can just go to your favorite search engine and type the word "safelist" and find quite a few good ones. Use them just like any email program to send out your ads. You will need two e-mail addresses. One for the list emails, where you will receive a lot of emails, and one for the contact address where the safelist owners can contact you about policy changes, or any other reason they need to get in touch with you.
