How can I win one of the new Micro auctions?

If you want to win one of the new Micro auctions, you enter the auction just like with any other auction, and you bid until such time as you win. It's really just that simple. You have to want the prize more than anyone else and be the last bidder. The only difference is that most people, in theory, will stop bidding sooner if they don't want to waste excess TCredits on the prize.
Logic suggests that the best way to assure yourself a win with the fewest bids is to only bid at the last moment, giving everyone else a chance to bid before the time runs out. That way, you bid the fewest number of times. This, however, can also tax patience and consume extra time. You have to consider if it's worth your time and TCredits to bid.

Is there such a thing as helping your affiliates TOO much?

Yes. To my mind, "helping your affiliates too much" means spending enough money on their behalf to make them not have to follow through with promoting or recruiting on their own. For example, if you include these PSAs on every co-op without paying for their share, sending them money to help pay for their standing orders, and sending welcome messages to the PSAs they get through the co-op you run, that's too much. They're not likely to do all that themselves, which means they'll never duplicate your behavior.
Now, chances are, you're not going to take things *that* far, and it certainly doesn't hurt to help ease an affiliate into the process--I would reward, for example, a new PSA who puts out his or her first ad and shows you where it is. That would be a good way to earn a free co-op share, in my opinion. You only help those who show initiative, though. Show them their time is worth something.

What is the best strategy for attracting younger people (age 21 - 35) to become active SFI affiliates?

Affiliate since: 12/31/1969, Power Rank: 99999999
Just because people are in a given age range does not mean that they have the same desires and values, and it's those desires and values that get you interest in activity. For example, if I were to suggest to my younger friends who are ecologically-minded, I'd be more focused on getting them to promote "The Natural" products and make money doing that--it gives them a win-win opportunity to advocate ecologically-sound products. On the other hand, those who are connected to the artists and crafters among them, I would instead point out the advantage of promoting their friends through ECA stores. I would tell them, "If you can help your friends and make money doing it, everybody wins."
If you want to attract younger affiliates, target the types of affiliate you want, speak to their wants and needs, and they will come on board..

I have $500 to invest in my SFI business. What are your recommendations on the best way to use this money?

The best way to use money is to apply it to your current plan. If I had $500 to invest in my SFI business at this point, it would probably be spent on doing a production run of the next set of products for my ECA store, for example. However, you may be at a different phase in your plan. If I was in an advertising phase, I might instead use that money to put together a website and blog dedicated to my efforts at SFI and then advertising that blog; as such, it could be used as a training resource for your downline as well as a recruitment tool for new PSAs. If, on the other hand, I needed to improve my development process, I might invest in new hardware, like a printer so that I could produce more of my own promotional materials. The most important thing, from my point of view, is to turn that $500 into something that will give you something you can use.

What would be your best tips to build a strong team with real active and motivated members?

Building a strong team with real active and motivated members requires building a team that communicates, takes initiative, and understands how to pass on the same information to their own sub-teams, as well.
* Communication: Speak your team's language(s), be clear and concise, and teach in concepts your affiliates can understand.
* Building Initiative: Show your team that by doing the various tasks, from daily actions to regular promotions, they achieve their goals, and money comes in.
* Duplication: If you're communicating clearly, this may be as simple as encouraging your team members to use the same teaching tools you've used with them.

Should I promote the sale of TripleClicks products to my team? If so, how?

You should suggest people use TripleClicks products when there's a good one that you fee confident in recommending and that will help them as SFI affiliates. If a product does not meet both of those important criteria, don't promote it to them, because that's an easy way to lose personal credibility and with it, the trust of your team. Nobody likes to be exploited for commissions.
What are the best ways to track my ads to know which are providing the best results?

The easiest way to track your ads, at least with respect to SFI referrals, is through the use of "Key Codes" at the end of your referral link.
If you go to
https://www.sfimg.com/Support/Solution?id=19365
you will learn how to use them. Essentially, you're tacking a four-digit code on the end of your affiliate ID, and then when you go to your Genealogy report, you can search on your key codes and discover which ones are getting you active affiliates.
With your TripleClicks ads, that's a little trickier--I don't think they have key codes for those. You could, however rotate your ads for different products, and then base your success rates based on the commission values you're receiving.

What do I say to an affiliate who complains he's not getting as much out of SFI as he's putting into it?
, Aff ()

Affiliate since: 12/31/1969, Power Rank: 99999999
How long has this affiliate been in the program, and what is he doing to promote SFI and/or TripleClicks?
SFI results in success over a longer term, rather like raising an apple tree from a seed. The seedling requires daily care and feeding in order to grow, and it will take years before it produces fruit. SFI is somewhat quicker, but it still takes time.
It could be that he's just throwing his money away on purchased PSAs and not actively promoting--promoting products is where sales and commissions are.
It could be that he's promoting, but just not in places where he has a lot of visibility.
It could be that he's promoting, but he's not selling to a market with different values (selling products to seniors requires a different approach from selling to twenty-somethings).
If you're going to help him solve his problems, you have to understand what's at the core of them.

How do I encourage an affiliate to remain active when they feel they've been demoted?
, Aff ()
12/7/2015 9:38 pm
Affiliate since: 12/31/1969, Power Rank: 99999999
Because "demotion" only comes from a lack of activity, you can point out to an affiliate that earning his or her rank back is only a matter of resuming the higher activity level represented by that rank. Regardless, success with SFI is a marathon, not a sprint, and the real benefit comes with long-term perseverence.
How do I take advantage of every tool in the SFI system to maximize my success here?

If you're going to maximise your success here, you're not going to take advantage of EVERY tool. You're only going to use the ones that fit your plan. To use an analogy, if your method of succeeding involves hammering nails, you're not going to use the screwdriver. As an example in my particular case, my plan involves targeting people like myself who need a source of income independent from where they work. That means I'm not likely to use SFI's tools for those working with people promoting the affiliate program for retirement income. Work to your plan.
