What's a good welcome letter to send to new CSAs?

I found some really good letters on the c.s.a. mailer page. I clicked on the "need help?" icon and there are some really good ones. Initially though I just let them know how to contact me in the event their sponsor isn't available, which is the case sometimes with sponsors who have many thousands of affiliates or big name gurus like mine was when I signed up the first time. He's still listed as a top sponsor so since he isn't responding, most of his affiliates are given out as c.s.a's. This is why its so vitally important to stay in close contact with your personally sponsored and not to worry if you only have a few, because if you train them right it doesn't take long before they're sponsoring people too. And p.s.a's and c.s.a's all add up to income.
I see Stone Evan's name all over the internet now and I imagine he makes rock star income now and never has to lift a finger. That's what we can do too if we start now and work the system.

Has anyone tried the paid Facebook advertising and, if so, did it work/was it was worth the cost?

I have tried the paid advertising on Facebook and to me it wasn't worth it. I do use facebook for building a contact list, and have a few pages on Facebook where I have discussions and allow people to advertise if they so choose.

Good question.
For me there's no favorite one because they're all meant to help us and only one wouldn't be enough to give us the instruction we need. They all work together and we need them all. So I can't recommend just one.

The golden rule applies very well. Do unto others "as you would have" others do unto you. If you lead your team like a drill seargent, ordering them to do what you want, you will fail miserably. Lead by doing what you want them to do and you'll always have a good team because they will see your actions and follow your lead.

There is no best place when it comes to advertising. It's not where you advertise, but how you adverttise that makes the difference.
Whether you advertise through word of mouth, or through mass e-mail, you have just about the same chance of getting signups and making sales.
The best way to advertise, however, is not really advertising at all. It's all about your own contact lists and building them first, then you have people who trust you who will be interested in what you're doing enough to come to you and ask you for help.
Be a friend first, then you'll have friends who will be more than happy to look at what you're doing and may even want to sign up because you've proven yourself and shown them that you only have their best interest at heart.

How can you best use your badges (Top 10 Power Rank, E365 Finalist, etc.) to grow your SFI business?

When others see my badges they can see that I have been doing all I can to succeed with SFI and that its not out of their reach to do the same. We should all be proud of our badges and display them on as many sites as possible. That's where our a2a comes in. Use it in traffic exchanges. Then everyone who surfs the exchange will see it.
What kinds of contests do your affiliates seem to respond best to?

I have set up contests for my team and so far I haven't checked to see who is responsive, but I set them for the 31st of December, so I can let you know then. It's a referrals contest and so far, many of my affiliates are doing well.

I think it may be that people think the internet is some kind of magic that makes people fast money because of all the money doublers and "matrix"programs that people get involved in. These programs do work - at first, Thats why so many people swear by them. But for long term success SFI is where people wind up at after all the get rich schemes have bit the dust. So let them think what they will. What really matters is that SFI has Brought true success to millions of people for a long time running and as long as there are people who are looking for something real, SFI will keep providing it.

What is your best way to motivate your downline?

There are lots of ways to motivate your downline members.
Post in the stream and give them encouragement, offer them incentives for doing things like becoming an EA, Send them motivational pep talks through the geneology mailer, if you have their phone number, try calling them up and letting them know you care. If can afford to, send your best movers a gift certificate. Or reassign some affiliates under them.
You don't need to question them or try to get them to spend money or set up standing orders. SFI corporate will take care of that so you can just motivate, encourage and show your support.
