What kind of ads and/or campaigns will work in NEWSPAPERS to sign up new affiliates?

Many newspapers have classified ads specific toward "opportunity seekers," so the question then becomes, "What kind of opportunity seekers are you looking to recruit?" If you've had the chance to read the training materials on the site, you will know that there are multiple types of "opportunity seekers," from students looking to build their own businesses and careers, to workers looking to go independent and, to steal an idea from one of SFI's standard ads, to "fire their bosses," to retirees looking to build some additional income. Each requires his or her own approach. The ads in the "Marketing Tools" area will give you great ideas on where to start.

What are some ways I can engage with my team through my Stream messages?

Your Stream messages will be checked every day, if your team members are keeping up with their daily actions. As a result, the best messages to engage them are ones that encourage them to write back to you. Here are some of my favorite types of messages:
* Announcements about incentives and earners of incentives
* Open discussions with my team about possible promotion or recruitment strategies
* Polls on interests
* Solicitation of questions of topics to write about in the Genealogy mailers

How can I get my affiliates interested in and engaged in selling products at TripleClicks?

Honestly, I would say that to get your affiliates interested and engaged, it starts with getting yourself interested and engaged with TripleClicks. Purchase products from the various ECAs and talk with them about the best items you've found. In the case of your best affiliates, you might even buy items for them as incentives. Remember, if your goal is to keep them active, providing a strong example through your own actions is the most powerful thing you can do.
What are the best ways to ensure you are building your RESIDUAL income potential?

The way I see it, your residual income is primarily in the form of repeat customers, whether in the form of your affiliates or in general PRMs, your personally-referred members to TripleClicks.. Standing orders ensure residual income as long as these people maintain them, but rather than relying on any specific person, it only makes sense to continue recruiting and bring traffic to Tripleclicks.
One efficient way of increasing your residual income is to maintain Executive Affiliate, or better yet, Team Leader status. The higher your ranking, the more Co-Sponsored Affiliates are given to you, over and above any other recruiting and promoting you do. Since I personally maintain Bronze Team Leader from month to month, I accrue more and more CSAs without any additional effort on my part.
Of course, there's no real way to be sure who will buy from you (or when), so your best option is to bring in as many new customers to TripleClicks as possible.

Which is better for a fairly new ECA? Limit shipping to my region while my business grows or ship internationally from the start?

If you're looking at a physical product in your store to sell as an ECA, the only reason to limit shipping to your region is because you haven't researched the customs and shipping related to what you're selling. Your customer will be paying for the shipping (one way or another), so as soon as you know what charges need to be added to handle international conditions, by all means, do it!
What is the best way to find places to advertise SFI?

I use the following method--I call it "look and ask." The first step is to look around for sites, often with aid of a Google search that target the market I'm seeking to engage, whether it's students looking to make money or retirees looking for a supplementary income. I stay away from classified, instead focusing on blogs and the like, and then I ask the people running those sites how I can interest them in allowing me to buy an ad. This guarantees I have a friendly site that wants my ad, that the site will reach people who want my message, and that the overall receptivity level will be high.

How do you explain and promote transfer buying to your team members?

"Transfer buying" occurs when you buy products at SFI that you would normally buy elsewhere. For example, there are other whey protein additives that can be bought elsewhere, either on-line or in stores, but SFI has some great items of exactly that same type. This is a great way to not only shop conveniently, but also to earn VersaPoints at exactly the same time.
How can I best utilize my monthly Standing Order of TCredits?

If you went the route of buying the 125 TCredits package as a Standing Order, your goal becomes making the most use possible out of those credits. The most obvious use would be to use them for PriceBenders auctions, particularly the Double-Points Auction, where you could thus get 1250 Members Rewards Points out of them, as well as 125 AVP, taking you a significant portion of the way to your next rank. My favorite way to use the MRP that I get back are for digital downloads because there are no additional shipping charges.
On the other hand, though, if you're using TripleClicks as a regular member, you might consider using the first fifty of them instead to place Member Listings for goods you want to sell. Spending those fifty earns you 50 AVP, and it also adds more items to sell, which can make you money to profit off that very Standing Order. The other seventy-five remaining can still go the route of the Double-Points Auction for 750 MRP.
There are other options, of course. For example, if what really makes you happy in life is music, you can always download 125 songs with them every month. Honestly, I may be a music fan, but I'm not *that* much of a music fan!
What approach interests you the most?

What is the best way to help people that want to get involved with SFI who do not have time to put into it but have money to invest?

If you've got someone who doesn't have time to put in, but who have money to invest, well, most of what we do here can be automated to one degree or another. Standing orders can keep the affiliate earning as an Executive Affiliates, and he or she can invest in various sorts of advertising to keep traffic flowing to TripleClicks and/or his/her downlines. It might even be conceivable that he or she could have someone log in and do the various daily actions, although this seems a bit financially unwise.
The one thing that *cannot* be outsourced, however, is leadership and training. The way I see it, when an affiliate signs up a PSA, he or she has a responsibility to help that PSA succeed. This doesn't take much time, but it remains of key importance.

How can I help a PSA become a Team Leader when he or she does not have a credit card?

It is possible to become a Team Leader by earning VersaPoints through both actions and sales made. If you train your PSA to get enough customers to TripleClicks, he or she can earn plenty of VP just off of sales; he or she can also use the commissions earned to purchase useful items like PSAs To Go to help build a team and T-Credits to enter auctions, play games, and download music to earn additional VP to get to Bronze Team Leader. Paying from your Affiliate Account is simple and easy--no need for a credit card.
Additionally, if an affiliate does not have a credit card, there are ways to set up direct deposit or to transfer money to and from a Paypal account. In this way, he or she can transfer commissions to a bank account easily.
