Since Marketing leads to selling of products and services to people one should have the following skills to be successful in any campaign:

1. Creativity in advertising:

One can not follow the same pattern of ads. that appear in the media. To be successful one has to
be different. As we all know, "Winners don't do different things; But, they do things differently".

2. Honest in approach:

One can not hide facts and make tall claims while doing marketing activities. One can be
successful by doing it, for a short while, But one can not survive for a long time as people will
know what is right and what is wrong if not immediately at least in the near future.

3. Presentation:

The product may be good in terms of its function or taste, etc. But, if the features or the positive
aspects are not strongly presented, people will simply reject it.

4. Time:

One should know which product or services should be highlighted in the marketing campaign
at the most appropriate time or the season.. One can not try to market leather coats during a
hot summer. Choosing of products that will go well with the time is very important.

5. Target Audience:

To whom you are trying to sell your products or services? This should be kept in mind while
engaging yourself in any marketing campaign. If you are not clear on this, then your campaign
will not take off.

6. Have the mind to accept rejection:

Not every marketing campaign can result in huge success. At times, it may produce no
results. In such times, one should know that the product or service is not rejected by the
people out right. One should have the mind to accept it and face reality.

7. Analyse Results:

Whether the out come is positive or negative, one should analyse the result at regular
intervals. This will help in making corrections or choose or change the media of campaign,
etc.

8. Continuity of activities:

Even if the results are very positive, one should continue the marketing activities without any
slip up as every one will try to learn and repeat what you did in your campaign. Keep changing
the pattern of campaigns keeping the geography and culture of people in mind. These will
greatly help in having a successful marketing campaign.

9. Planning & Budgeting:

Before entering any marketing campaign, one should thoroughly plan all related activities
paying attention to every minute detail. Cost of the campaign should be thoroughly analysed
and upper cap must be well defined. One should have the mind to take corrective actions
as and when necessary during the campaign period.

1. First of all, one should approach SFI business like any other business with all seriousness and
sincerity.

2. One should be prepared to follow SFI guidelines strictly.

3. One should have the willingness to carry out all activities as specified by SFI in the To Do List.

4. One should have the determination to grow and win over a period of time.

5. Above all, one should clearly read and understand SFI Rules of Success and should have patience, and perseverance to achieve the desired results without any mind block to give up and quit at any stage of the activities here.

6. On joining one should visit the "START/BASICS and the LAUNCHPAD" Tabs on the Home Page,
read things slowly but steadily, understand and learn things.

7. Then one should know how to build a strong and active down line.

8. One should not give up due to initial set backs or initial failures to achieve quick results.

9. One should be fully prepared to invest a reasonable amount of money towards advertising,
Marketing, Team Building, etc.

10. SFI had provided all kinds of tools like Marketing, Training, Communication, MIS, etc, etc. One
should have the patience to visit them, read and understand and apply the knowledge thus

Let's understand 2 things very clearly.

1. When you remain an EA every month, you start receiving 2 Co-Sponsored
Affiliates. (CSAs)

It means, you have a Team.

2. Just because you do not have your Personally Sponsored Affiliates (PSAs) doesn't mean that you do not have a Team at all.

3. Only difference lies in the %age of commission that you will receive due to the activities of your
PSAs and CSAs.

4. If you read the SFI BASICS, you will understand this very clearly.

5. If you read the Compensation Plan you will know what are all the benefits that you will receive
if you remain a Team Leader.

6. Just by remaining a BTL, you will get more CSAs every month. Higher your TL Rank, more the
shares of CSAs you will receive.

7. It means, you are developing your Team every month.

8. But the question will be, how many of them will be active every month? The same is applicable
to your PSAs also.

9. If you have an active Team of more PSAs becoming EA or TL every month, you can see two
Things:

a) Your earnings go up;
b) You get more CSAs free of cost;
c) Your spending will come down;

Conclusion:

1) If your financial status permits, please keep buying PSAs through S-Builder Co-Op, PSAs to GO,
Pricebenders Auction, etc regularly;

2) Keep encouraging and motivating them; Help them to build their own Team;

3) You will automatically become a Team Leader and thus will be receiving CSAs also.

4) All these mean, you have a Team of PSAs and CSAs - leave alone Active or Inactive.

5) Its wrong to feel that a Team means only PSAs;

6) Based on this erroneous assumption do not take a decision on becoming or not becoming a TL.

7) Finally, are your prepared to follow SFI's 3 STEP PLAN to success? If your answer is YES

1. Communication can be in native language. You can explain things about SFI Business which can
be easily understood.

2. Phone contacts can be quiet economical.

3. Conducting explanatory meetings for a small group will be easy.

4. Personal visits for guidance can be possible.

5. One to one rapport can be easily established through frequent communication.

6. Building a strong team with active and strong affiliates can be achieved within a reasonable
time and growth of every member can be ensured through timely clarifications and inter
actions.

7. Personal Demonstration of your performance, achievements, etc can be easily viewed by your
prospects at their convenience /at their places enhancing your opportunities to get more and more
new sign ups.

8. The possibility of opt-out will be very low since you can be always around when support is
needed.

When you prospect people to become affiliates from every where, you will not be able to do many of these.

The main disadvantages will be:

1. Language can be a barrier. Since SFI business activities warrant Communication through
English there are chances that some of your prospects may not be able to understand what
exactly you want to explain to them.

2. There will be pressure on you to translate messages in their language which will be time
consuming.

3. Interaction will be quite difficult.

4. Personal contacts may not be possible;

5. Communication through phone will be costly.

6. Explanatory meetings will be impossible.

Despite all these, we require more and more affiliates to be part of our Team regularly. Consistent efforts alone can bring even partial success. There is no guarantee that all new sign ups whether they hail from your own country or elsewhere will remain active.

Conclusion:

Since we all require at least Five active and strong affiliates in our Team who will duplicate our actions and remain EA every month, its necessary that we keep recruiting affiliates from any part of the world regularly. No doubt language can be a barrier in some cases. But there are enough means to address that including translation facilities provided by SFI, Google, etc.

Such being the case,

1.In case you are an ECA and you have your own products to sell which are of interest to your Team
Members, please indulge in that at once. Nothing should stop you from doing it.

2.By buying products of their interest from you locally, they stand to gain better prices (due to nil or

3. In case you are not an ECA, then also please guide your Team to indulge in "Transfer Buying"

Please explain to them that there had been umpteen number of affiliate programs which vanished in the thin air since they failed to live up to the expectations of people.

They promised many things and many were attached for payments. Lot of people performed and when they claimed their money all they received was blank promises with more conditions. That way most of the promoters ensured that their interest was always ensured and safeguarded.

Further, when people tried to contact the promoters, they were not to be found any where.

This has been the history of many affiliate programs of the past across the globe.

What about SFI?

1. Completing the Actions as explained in the To Do List, every day. This ensures that you gather all
the available VPs without fail and that you maintain your VP streak without any break;

2. Reading all news up dates from SFI - This helps you to keep abreast of current developments based on which you can plan your remaining activities;

3. Remaining connected with your Team through Stream or Group Mailer System or Chat, etc on a
case to case basis. This you can plan based on:

= Specific question from any individual Team Member;
