Good question.

Some would say that there's never too much information, but I beg to differ.

If you're constantly bombarding your team members with information they may
become displacement and give up. Why? Because they need time to read and
duplicate what you send them. This is why SFI is set up with guidelines to help
you limit your communications to no more than 3 days between stream posts and
a week between newsletters other than your welcome e-mails which should always
be sent immediately after being sent confirmation that you've received a new
PSA or CSA.

It's also not a good idea to keep reminding them that they need to set up a
standing order or make purchases from their store. SFI already does this for
you. And reminding them of this only serves to frustrate them and make them
feel that you're only in it for the money and not really there to help them.

The only communications you should offer should be to encourage and motivate
them with uplifting and positive feedback each time they reach a milestone
and to offer them incentives to help them do things that otherwise they may
not be able to do.

You can never force anyone to do something, and it's never a good idea to try.

All you can do is be a friend and help them to get through their initial problems. And be willing to do this even if they're not on your team. When we all do this together SFI works for us all. The golden rule is at work here when we do this. If you want people to be a friend to you, then be a friend to them, and if you want people to buy things from you, then buy things from others. This is duplication at it's finest.

I would start by telling them that Wave 3 is their starter pack and it gives them cards and flyers to hand out and a bumper sticker for their car. But also they will get more free stuff every month. Not like some programs where you get a free trial and get tricked into paying every month,

But even beyond all this, anyone who is serious about SFI
and TripleClicks can find all kinds of answers by checking
out the FAQ pages and reading all your launchpad lessons,
or just by pushing all the buttons on your home page and looking
around and reading.

The first time I joined SFI back in the beginning, I had a sponsor
who was already a famous network marketer, and he was so big in
marketing that he had no time for the little guy. So I gave up.
I was such a newbie I couldn't even copy and paste.

This time I thought I knew a lot but I found out I didn't. So I
understand how it might be difficult for someone without a sponsor.

But if a person can login and view their member's page, there is
help right there. All they have to do is click on a link to the forum
or Ask Gery. Gery has made it so easy to get help now, that there is
really no good reason for someone not to get the help they need.

Sometimes they will, sometimes they won't. Next?

SFI is not for everyone. And there will ALWAYS be some who never even login once they sign up. Some will never even verify their e-mail.

Like the old saying goes, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.
These people see a good thing, and may even tell others about it, but they do this with every program they join. They just don't get it. They may even think the more programs they sign up for the better.

These people have never learned to focus on one thing, and will probably always tend to be this way. So do you really want them on your team?

Let them go. Maybe one day they'll change and come back, but if they don't, frankly you're not losing anything. (not that they're not good people) They are good people but unless they're willing and able to be trained, they're no good to you or anyone else.

Focus on those who are and help them to become great. You only really need a few good ones who will duplicate your efforts to make your team the best it can be. So don't worry about the ones who never work. They system will take care of them for you.

I'm quite sure they didn't get to where they were overnight. And they more than likely have the same ratio of active/inactive as everyone else. So before you assume that they have some kind of magic, look at when they became a member first. And then if you see that it was recent, more than likely they already had a newsletter or had already built large organizations before joining SFI. Some of these people brought their downlines with them from various other programs, or were
owners of big traffic exchanges or safelists when they joined.

But regardless of how they did it, if you're really interested, just add them as a friend and ask them. Maybe they will share their secret with you. You might find out their methods aren't so different at all.

I'm not sure if there's any way to pursuade someone from the "instant gratification generation". They either do or they don't.

I believe in natural consequences. When someone tells you from experience that you will get hurt if you do what they did, and you don't listen, nature has a way of giving you the consequences. And nature is a very good teacher.

Until you've been burned, the heat doesn't mean anything to you. Telling someone that SFI isn't a get rich scheme means nothing to someone who is out for instant riches.

I spoke to someone the other day and told them that there's no real business that will pay you instant wealth. And he replied that he didn't want to have to work for anything, he wants it now. I just said good luck with that.

Serious people will work the business and will succeed. So don't worry too much about the ones who don't. Just keep promoting and work with the workers. The rest will come around once they figure out that all the get rich schemes are just that - schemes.

Depending on whether or not you have money to invest, and several other factors, this is a little hard to answer. SFI isn't a get rich quick scheme, so when you say "earning quickly", I have to ask, how quickly and how much?

What you may consider earning quickly may be totally different that what someone else considers earning quickly.

If you want to make $1000 in your first week, it's going to be at least a month before you see any earnings because that's how it's set up. And for most people, your first month and sometimes much longer is being spent on learning the system.

The truth is, unless you already have a large number of people who are following you in to SFI, who already know how to work the system and who won't give up if they don't see big money right off the bat, you're probably not going to make a lot of money at first.

What you're getting here is worth thousands of dollars to begin with. Have you paid for an education lately? The network marketing education you get here, if you had to pay for it, would cost you thousands of dollars. And all the income streams you'll find even if you don't spend a penny, are here for the taking.

Are you good at sales? Then you'll probably make more than most people. So if I were you, I'd start signing into TripleClicks and finding some ECA's you like and start promoting their links, which are tied up with your affiliate id when you're logged in.

There are over 90,000 products so there's something there for everyone.

Truthfully, the sky is the limit for anyone who wants to earn money, but before you can earn it's necessary to learn. So if it were me, I would just bank on that for a while.

As far as strategies go, what works for me might not work for you. But for me what's worked the best is having a standing order of 1500 VP, and purchasing TCredits for bidding in the auctions, then getting more VP from every bid, and 5 member rewards points, (sometimes 10 in the double mrp auctions) This is how I made BTL.

If you win one of the auctions you can resell the products as an ECA. There are just so many different ways you can succeed with SFI. But basically, you just have to stick around and keep working at it. It's YOUR business. Do what works for you, and don't quit and you'll find your own comfort zone.

I totally understand being broke, but we have to get rid of the poor mentality. Unless we share what we have with others and give of our time, and yes even what we have, no one wins.

SFI makes it super easy to provide support for others without spending any money. Just send out a team mail every few days or post in the stream. Don't be negative or think about what you don't have. If you have a lot of downline affiliates, you have a goldmine!

Treat them as such. They are very valuable to you and will eventually pay your commissions if you help them and keep them motivated. Otherwise you will lose them forever.
