My site produced a little over 70 SFI signups in January 2016, and a few TripleClicks members.

I did hardly any work on my site in January.

By "work" I mean writing and adding more content.

My site's traffic comes mostly from Google - from search results on page one of Google. One of the most important things for me to do is to increase traffic to my site. With more traffic I'll get more SFI and TripleClicks signups. The second most important thing is to improve my click through rate.

1. How Does One Increase Traffic to One's Site?

There are many ways to increase traffic to one's site, one of which is using social media websites where once can leave links to one's site. The problem here is that one needs to be quite active on those sites, and have a large group of friends or followers on those sites. This takes a lot of time.

Another problem with social sites is that the link you left to your site gets pushed further down when you post new things on your social site pages or profiles. You have to keep updating your pages with new links (or the same links again). You also have to spend considerable time interacting with your friends and followers, so that they will from time to time bother to interact with your pages, and hopefully click or share your links.

If you enjoy using social media websites, have a large group of friends or followers on those sites, and have the time to interact on those sites, then using social media websites can be a good way to get more traffic to your site.

My favorite way to increase traffic to a site is through on-page SEO (Search Engine Optimization). It may take time to set up, but can become a set-and-forget way to get traffic to one's site, leaving time over for concentrating on one's SFI business. I proved this in January by writing and adding only one new page for my site in January, yet still got over 70 SFI signups in January.

Write (or purchase) lots of content for your site, regularly. Each page should consist of quite a few words - more than 300 words would be good., more than 400 would be better.

Do some keyword research and learn a little SEO, and then use keywords and SEO.

Learning SEO can be as simple as installing an SEO plugin on your CMS (Content Management System) site - preferably a WordPress-powered CMS site. Use a plugin that has colored buttons that tell you if you have used good SEO for all aspects of the SEO of a page. If the buttons are not green, these plugins actually tell you what to do to make your buttons green. Do those edits to your page, to turn all buttons green, and then you'll know that you have applied good Search Engine Optimization techniques to that page.

2. How To Improve Your Click Through Rate

a) Your site's content should relate to what's in your SFI or TripleClicks ads. If somebody visits a site to read some information about dental health, and there are two ads on the page - a dental health ad and an ad about golf - which ad do you think they are more likely to click? Ok, maybe the golf ad if it's an ad about what to do if a golf ball hits you in the teeth, but I think you know what I mean.

b) Don't make it difficult for people to find your SFI and TripleClicks links and banners. Keep links and banners high up on your pages, and have your links underlined or in a different color to the rest of the text.

c) Keep track of how many clicks the links and banners are getting. If some links and banners are getting more clicks than others, replace or move the position of the ones that are not getting many clicks.

Conclusion
These are the basics of building a successful blog or website that's purpose is to get people to click the ads on it, or to get people to fill in a form on it to subscribe to a newsletter. Cover the basics (increase traffic and improve Click Through Rate) and the rest will follow.

Where there are products, there is money to be made. Show them the products.

Make money as an affiliate with SFI yourself.

If you don't yet have a large team of active affiliates, you can still earn from the sales of ECAs you've referred to TripleClicks or from the purchases of PRMs you've referred to TripleClicks.

While you can't show a prospect proof of your SFI earnings, or even tell them how much you earn, you can still make it fairly obvious that you have done well with SFI.

- Earning with SFI will boost your self-confidence.
- Dress well.
- Accessorize well.
- Keep your vehicle clean and in good condition.
- Own your own professional website or blog (not a free one)

Then show or tell your prospects the facts about SFI. Show them the products. Ask them for an amount they wish to make each month. Then tell them what they'd need to do to make that amount.

A list of 10 ways to make your personal SFI website effective:

1. Be professional about SFI, and with your site. Get your own domain and hosting rather than using a free website or free blogging platform.

2. Write and add many posts - the more text content your site has, the more chance there is that some words or phrases will come up in good positions in search results on search engines like Google.

3. Learn the basics of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and apply what you learn.

4. Decide if you're going to be promoting SFI or TripleClicks or both. If promoting both, keep SFI and TripleClicks ad banners to the top, bottom or sides of your site, and use only one (or a link) within the content area of a post.

5. Write about one aspect of SFI at a time - this provides better SEO for that page, and a greater opportunity to write on many different topics, providing more pages for your site.

7. Be careful with the design and layout of your site - you don't want text that's difficult to read because it's on a busy background (on an image background that isn't "easy on the eyes") - keep the site neat and "clean" - and use a medium to large font size rather than small.

8. Update your site regularly with new posts, and allow the date of posting to be visible - you don't want visitors to the site thinking that SFI is something that you only used to do.

9. Be "real" - while still maintaining a professional appearance, also be friendly: tell visitors a little about yourself, tell of your own experiences with SFI, voice your opinion, and use humor.

10. Remind visitors that they should come back to your site once they've joined SFI, so that they can continue learning about SFI, and how best to go about being successful with SFI - or invite them to subscribe to your newsletter (which you can use for telling subscribers you have a new post on your site that they will likely find very useful).

Every single day you should be preparing for your retirement from SFI. What you do today - and tomorrow, and the next day and each day beyond that - determines how soon you may retire from SFI, and how good that retirement may be.

As much as SFI is enjoyable, people generally work with something in mind: retirement, or less time working, allowing them time to enjoy the rewards of their efforts, during the plenty of time that their retirement affords them. I would think we all want this - great rewards for the effort we've put in. If part of what one enjoys is spending time on SFI, that can certainly continue, but with far less effort than before.

How should you start preparing for this retirement?

You should be working on creating residual income. A retirement from SFI would mean hardly any SFI work needs to be done by you. You need to set yourself up to make this possible.

You would need:

- automatic Sales VersaPoints
- automatic Action VersaPoints

Use 1. or 2. or both methods to get automatic Sales VersaPoints:
1. My greatest suggestion would be to do your promoting as EARLY as possible.

The shipping time that some ECAs have for their products is over a month, to certain countries, usually to people not living in their own country. When many products at TripleClicks have free shipping for their products, though, this is to be expected.

Promote the ECAs that accept pick-ups - where buyers who live in that area can go and collect their products at the premises of the ECA, especially when time is running out to get one's gifts in time! Obviously try and geo-target market where possible - market the products of an ECA in a certain country to people living in that same country.

Or warn your potential PRMs that they may need to order as soon as possible in order to get their products on time for the gift-giving season. Do of course mention, though, that the delivery time may only be a bit long due to many products at TripleClicks having shipping included in their price (free shipping!)

Plan well in advance. Order some gift-giving season products for yourself too, now, and then late next year - not too late though!- you can show off these products to potential PRMs which may help entice them to order the same products.

Also mention how at TripleClicks they may be able to get an extra gift to give to somebody for free:

Tell them they will get Member Rewards Points when they purchase products at TripleClicks and that these Member Rewards Points can be saved up and then used to buy another gift!

Also tell them that they can get Member Rewards Points in other ways too - from using TCredits (that they may win!) on games or on auctions, and from maybe winning Member Rewards Points in the Daily Crown.

Also explain how they may win an auction and may be able to choose a gift certificate option instead of the item up for auction, and that they can use that gift certificate at TripleClicks or at another place like Amazon.

The one thing that my affiliates seem to struggle with most is reading, and not only reading, but understanding what they read; learning from it.

Of course my affiliates struggle with other things too, but they wouldn't if they just read more, and put into action what they have learned from having done that reading.

Knowledge is power, and that knowledge comes from reading.

- Affiliates who don't have the finances to purchase products or use expensive marketing methods would learn that they could still advance up the ranks of SFI without spending money, if they only read how to do it and did the work.

- Affiliates who struggle to get new PSAs wouldn't if they read how to do it, and did it.

- Affiliates who struggle to understand why most of their affiliates are inactive would have less inactive affiliates if they read about how best to support their affiliates (and then used those techniques to support their affiliates).

How do I try and encourage more reading?

- My messages to my affiliates encourage them to read and learn from what they read

- I tell my affiliates to take their time with their Daily Tasks, especially in their first few days. I explain that if they read everything on those Daily Tasks pages, and even follow links on those pages to read more, they will be empowering themselves with knowledge about SFI, and a greater chance of earning more in the future

- I offer my own writings for their use, explaining that they would need to edit any particular piece of writing to change names or dates etc - they'd have to read the entire piece of writing to be able to edit it correctly

- I offer incentives - if my affiliates do certain things or get a certain number of VersaPoints before a certain date, I reward them - usually with reassigned affiliates. To win the reward, they'd have to read about how to do certain things they've not yet done, or have not yet done properly.

- Many don't have the finances to purchase things or buy marketing materials. I explain that if they read about how to still earn from SFI without spending money, they can still earn from SFI. I give links to the pages that tell them what to do, or I even write about what they need to do. They need to read the pages or what I wrote in order to do what many of them signed up for - making money without spending money.

A. When a PSA (Personally Sponsored Affiliate) or a CSA (Co-sponsored Affiliate) purchases something at TripleClicks you earn commissions.

B. When a PRM (Personally Referred Triple Clicks Member) purchases something at TripleClicks you earn commissions and SVP (Sales VersaPoints).

A. EARNING FROM YOUR PSAs AND CSAs:

1.To promote the products of your favorite ECAs to your PSAs and CSAs, recommend them on the "I recommend" page on your team leadership page. You may recommend up to 5 items. Nicely describe why you recommend each product.. Then regularly remind your PSAs and CSAs to look at your team leadership page - perhaps include this reminder as just a small part of another email, team mail or message with an ecard.

2. Give your affiliates excellent support. Recommend which products they should try promote (mention - in a team mail, email, or message with an ecard - the products of your favorite ECAs, if you like, and why you recommend those products). Also give your affiliates step-by-step instructions on how to promote products - to both their PSAs and CSAs, and to the general public.

2.a) If your affiliates earn nice amounts of commissions from sales to their PSAs and CSAs, they'll be happier to stick with SFI, and will have money to purchase something from TripleClicks themselves - which earns you commissions.

2.b) If your affiliates earn nice amounts of commissions from sales to their PRMs, they'll be happier to stick with SFI, and will have money to purchase something from TripleClicks themselves - which earns you commissions.

2.c) Being happier to stick with SFI as in a) and b) and being able to afford to purchase things themselves, may help your PSAs and CSAs advance to the next rank in SFI, earning you Action VP when they do.

2.d) If your affiliates earn VP from sales to their PRMs, this may help them advance to the next rank, earning you Action VP when they do.

3. Offer your affiliates incentives for promoting specific products. Their sales help you too. They would have to send you a link to where you can check that they've done as you have asked, and then you can reward them with TCredits or reassign them some affiliates. It should be enough that they may make sales and earn commissions and VP, but offering a little reward may be what's needed to get them to take action.

B. PROMOTING TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC
(so that you can earn commissions and VP from your TripleClicks' PRMs):

1. Use the "Share & Win!" link found next to each product's photo - copy paste it into some of your favorite social sites, or elsewhere online.

2. Click the "SFI Affiliates" tab on the product page, and copy paste the product link into some of your favorite social sites, or elsewhere online.

3. Purchase the product yourself, and show it off everywhere. For those who also want to own one, give them the link to its page (the same link from no.2 above).

5. Create a banner listing a few products https://www.tripleclicks.com/myaccount/banner.php and paste the coding for it into your website or blog.

6. Create a website where you write about only certain types of products. Include links to the products and banners with the products in them (from no.5 above).

7. Create a small poster with enticing words about certain products and display the link of your site (no.6 above) or the link of a TripleClicks page on it, and stick the small poster in your car window.

8. Contact the sellers of some of the products and ask for their permission to use their larger images on your own site or blog with your promise that you'll give them credit for the photo and that their photo will link to the page it is displayed on, on TripleClicks.

9. Contact the sellers of some of the products and ask for their permission to use their larger images in a small poster you plan to stick in your car window.

10. Register several domains and have them redirect to specific product pages. Try and get domain names that sound something like the product, or describes what type of product it is, but not its actual name to avoid copyright issues. Promote the links both offline and online.

Promoting the products of ECAs helps SFI affiliates earn.

Promoting the products of ECAs may also help encourage those ECAs to add more products to their range.

When commercial sellers who have not yet started selling on TripleClicks see that many affiliates promote the products of TripleClicks' ECAs, it may help encourage those sellers to sign up as an ECA at TripleClicks.
