The manner in which you can create an effective personal website for SFI will depend on your approach to sales and promotion:

* An ECA can effectively use a personal website as a promotional tool for his or her store, driving people to TripleClicks for the final sale.

If you have been participating in the daily opinion surveys, you know where TripleClicks gets the answers to the questions: from the SFI affiliates themselves. As a result, you essentially have to "read the minds" of your fellow affiliates and guess which answers are going to be most (or least) popular. Because this is a poll and not trivia, you are not as likely to get useful information from Google, but you may improve your chance if you play this game while sitting down with a friend

To me, that sounds like the wrong approach to take with someone new. If you are working on convincing someone to buy something, especially a new PSA who might have signed up because SFI is free to join, it creates a frame of mind that could seem like a "bait and switch" tactic. Instead, I would focus on helping them start making money through promotion first and instead suggest that if they want to explore TripleClicks more thoroughly, they might take advantage of the New Member Pack

The speech looks something like this:

"I am a (insert rank here) with Strong Future International, and that means my job is to sign up new affililates and promote sales at TripleClicks."

From there, you can add promotional information located in your Launchpad Lessons to fill it out and get them excited. Also, if you have an ECA store, you can talk about how you sell your own products on TripleClicks yourself. This is basically covers it all in a nutshell. From

Playing the Eager Zebra games is just a good way to relax and maybe earn some extra TCredits and a few VersaPoints. It's also something they might introduce to their various PRMs. Aside from that, they're hardly crucial to success as a PSA. My advice, instead, is to "Keep their eyes on the prize," and that's done by promoting their gateway links. After all, when they're making commissions and bringing in new PSAs of their own, not only do they make money, *you* make money.

The best places to recruit affiliates face-to-face are places where you feel the most comfortable because then you know the types of people around there well enough to have a chance to recruit. For me, I tend to take in events at coffee houses and bars that have "pop-up" stores in them--there, you can generally find relaxed people, often enough those who have products to sell. Motivation in this type of system involves exciting people and encouraging them to act and react--you can't just push and cajole and expect any positive action. Now, what you write has to engage your affiliates, which means you have to know where their interests are and direct your conversation to target those interests. This is going to depend entirely on the demographics of your team. This means that I can't be too specific because I don't know who your affiliates are.

There are three steps to a good plan:

1) Know yourself. Know why you're doing what you're doing, and what you're going to feel good about doing. If you try to do things that you hate every day, you will lose motivation and will not succeed.

2) Know your market. Those are the people who will appreciate what you're doing. If you try and appeal to young students with promotions that focus on retirement income, for example, you're not going to succeed.
