In my opinion you do these two for different reasons.

Your blog is designed to attract new affiliates. If you use the correct words to bring surfers to your blog you will get a lot of hits and some of them will sign up.
My blog is not about SFI - it is about dealing with ADHD children. SFI's banner is there as an "advert". I mention it as a way to help me deal with the financial challenges I face and put a link to SFI where I mention it. A lot of people will click on

The first obvious reason to read the SFI newsletter is so you can see if there is a Spin and Win competition BUT - there are more reasons

It is interesting to read the newsletter - to see what is happening with SFI.

The Newsletter should not be your only reading - you need to go to the News Page - why?

If you make it a habit to go and read the latest news you will never miss an important announcement about an exciting new feature in SFI.
Because this is

Hi there

I find people want something when they get the feeling they are loosing out if they do not have it.

So you have to be a little sneaky getting them interested. "Brag" about how your business is growing and that you are so glad you took the opportunity when it was presented to you.

Tell them about all the reasons why it is working for you (free, support, different ways to earn etc)

Most of the time they will ask you questions. They will

At this stage I would say your own country would be the best. The reason is very simple - language.

I have affiliates in my team from different countries and I am pretty sure they are not reacting or doing what they need to do because they do not fully understand English. I am trying to communicate by translating my message in their language but I think a lot is lost in translation. It is also extremely time consuming if you have 20 people from 20 different countries and you have to

To me that answer is very easy - I believe you can not "write off" any of your affiliates. I believe in staying and acting positive and to give people an open-minded individual chance to proof themselves. I do not judge by looking at what I see only.

As far as I am concerned every single affiliate on my team is a potential super star. The fact that they signed up is enough for me to give them the benefit of the doubt. My weekly newsletters goes out to every PSA and every

I think that is probably the easiest part of building your business in SFI.

You learn new things just about every day. You learn what works and what does not work. Your successes and failures teaches you something (what to do and what not to do)

When you learn something, teach it to your team. You can keep a little notebook and make short notes whenever you learn something. Use your notes to write your team mails.

You do not have to write profound papers on SFI

Is it better to promote SFI to friends and family...or to strangers?

I tend to avoid friends and family that is always trying to convince me to do something. In building my business I go about it my own way and would mention it in everyday conversations with family and friends. Example - They would ask what are you doing? or what are you up to these days? Then I would reply with oooh, I am working on my new business and having a ball doing so. Some will ask questions which I will answer honestly and some will just say - good luck and enjoy - then I will not offer

How do I get my affiliates to understand the importance of grabbing the DAILY Action VP available to them?

In the beginning they might not pay much attention when you tell them to log in every day and to do their daily actions. You can tell them and give them every reason under the sun - some will listen and others wont - until they find it out through experience. (that was me when I started)

As soon as they learned enough about SFI and the principles it is build on they will realise that every single VP count and that you can come short at month end if you do not grab every VP you possibly

You need to show signs of life. Some affiliates never talk to their sponsors in any way. As a sponsor you are leading in the dark without any feedback from your team members.

Ask your sponsor or co-sponsor questions
Let them know you are in it to make money and that you will welcome their help and guidance. If you happen to have an absent sponsor or co-sponsor you can ask other upline members questions.

You are a sponsor yourself - why do you go the extra mile for your

SFI gives you a lot of training and power tools you can use but if you can come up with something that works and you are not breaking SFI rules I say good for you.

I don't think that thinking out of the box and creatively is wrong and would be frowned on - and I hope you share it with the rest of us. I think this section (Ask SC) and the forum is exactly what is intended - so we can share and brainstorm and help SFI to become better all the time - to the benefit of us all.
