I am not sure what country you are from or if you speak a different language than English but imagine what a nice surprise it would be if they receive a mail from you in their own language!

Such a mail might just be what they needed. It is possible that their sponsor can not communicate with them effectively either or that their sponsor is not very active - that is why we have an upline - so that there is always somebody else to help if the 1st call (the sponsor) is not doing it.

Apart from communicating in their own language you can only do what you would do with any of your other affiliates. Keep on sending your newsletters. Keep them upbeat and positive and be enthusiastic and hope it is contagious and they will catch it.

You can try gift certificates - but personally I feel that I would rather give gift certificates to my workers as encouragement.

Start by not looking at them as lazy and unmotivated. You might be right about some of them. They might be looking for a quick buck and as soon as they realized that is not what SFI is about they lost interest.

I am sure not all inactive affiliates are lazy and unmotivated. There are so many reasons they might be not working and I feel that giving them the benefit of the doubt gives you a better chance of motivating them. Deciding by yourself that they are lazy and unmotivated is a sure way of loosing them.

Once you used all avenues to motivate them (like cards, letters and inviting them to tell you if they have a problem) and you get no reaction, there is nothing more you can do - then let it go. BUT before you do - stay positive about them.

In my opinion you can still make a success BUT I do feel it would've been a little bit easier for me if I had a blog or website.
Since I can not afford to spend money at the moment I have to find other ways to advertise. However, I decided to spend whatever I earn now to grow my business - I will start taking what I earn later when my business is stronger. That means that I've set a goal for myself to start a blog as soon as I can.
Without money to spend, a blog or website it will take a bit longer but if you keep going and refuse to give up you will be successful.

When I first joined SFI my sponsor made contact via SFIM, but before that she sent a welcome letter and introduced herself - so by the time we chatted online I knew who she was.
Our first chat was easy and relaxed. When I first saw the message I knew who it was but I was still a bit apprehensive. I was not sure if she wants to talk to put pressure on me or what she is up to. I answered her and just let her lead the conversation to see what this is going to lead to.
I think she handled it exactly right because I was at ease very soon and it helped me to trust her more.
Our conversation was nothing more than getting to know each other a little bit better. She did not try to hit me with all her knowledge or anything like that. She asked me how I am doing and if I enjoyed SFI. She also assured me that she is willing to help me and support me. Money did not come up and there was no pressure to do anything. She also did not try to answer my questions by thumb sucking - if she did not know the answer she told me so but then she would tell me where I might find the answer or she would go looking for an answer or solution and then answered my questions.
Now that I have my own team I try to approach them in the same way - so I do what she did with me. I feel honesty and openness is always your best option. You need your affiliates to trust you and you are not going to achieve that by lying or thumb sucking.
Just talk to them like you would have a casual chat with a new friend and give them a chance to ask questions if they need to.

Your 1st step would be to join as many social sites as possible.

On some of these sites you are allowed to post a link (like Twitter) I use Twitter to advertise specific products they can buy or bid on and tell them how much they can save. I also share achievements there - like when I won on Pick or punt I 'brag" about it on Twitter. I asked my followers on Twitter to help me with an experiment to see how many new followers I can get in 24 hours - and they came to the party and re-tweeted my post. I then kept them up to date as to how many followers I have now. It became like a game to them.

Facebook does not allow you to post links BUT - they recently started a new page / campaign - you pay to advertise or sell your goods on Facebook. They allow you to have your own "shop" on Facebook.

Paying for your shop on Facebook is not the only way to use Facebook. You can join groups where you can "advertise" On these groups you can tell people about SFI and invite them to give you their e-mail address so you can give them more information. You then make sure you send your links to each and every person that sent / gave you their e-mail address.

There is also no reason why you can not open a page specifically to attract traffic t your website or blog and SFI. That way you do not use your personal page and irritate your friends. You can ask your friends to like your page and ask their friends to like your page. Every day you post something on your page that will peak visitor's interest. Once they ask you for more information you send it to them via e-mail. Your team can join your page and the positive conversations they have will soon peak visitors interest. It will you and your team to recruit - and remember - their success is yours too.

Whatever you do - DO NOT do the following.

1. DO NOT spam your friends or followers - you will loose friends and / or you will
be banned from the site.
2. DO NOT lie - tell the truth. SFI's success (the truth) is enough. You do not have
to embellish on the information to make it more attractive. If you make promises
you can not deliver on you might get thousands of sign-ups but no workers and you
will loose trust and respect.

If you stick to the rules of the site you can have great success - just think about creative ways you can respect the rules and still advance your business.

Forum - there is a category to tell the whole of SFI how well your affiliates are doing and to introduce your movers to everybody. It is always nice to be recognized in public for your hard work.

You can also use your leadership page to show your appreciation for their efforts

I like to mention my affiliates in my weekly newsletter when they achieved something - not only to recognize them but also to challenge the rest of the team.

A quick congratulations on chat if you happened to know that they won in a game. It goes to say that the more they achieve the more attention you pay to it. If you make a HUGE deal out of it every time they win 2 T-credits they are going to see it as false. So don't make a big announcement for every small thing - rather make it a private congrats.

The best way of course will be a gift certificate or T-credits or even a share in a co-op.

You can do a few things. I always find it better to concentrate on your strong points while trying to improve your less strong points.

1. If you are strong on sales - sell TripleClicks products. Advertise anywhere you
can - that way you reach strangers and friends alike. Promote transfer buying with
family and friends - Eg. Unless you have no hair you need shampoo - so why not buy
it at Triple Clicks and have it delivered to you instead of going to a pharmacy or
supermarket and standing in a line - and on top of it all - it is a Natural product
Some of the products are unique and make unique gifts for the person that has it all

2. If you are strong on recruiting - recruit new affiliates and guide and train them
to be successful at SFI - remember - if they are making money, so are you.
3. You can also earn once off payments by recruiting people for Pay-per-action but I
would not suggest you do a lot of this as it has no long term future income
potential.
4. Teach your affiliates / downline to sell, recruit, play games etc and to become EA
and team leaders - if they do this and they work it is to your advantage - just
like your efforts and work is to the advantage of your upline.
5. Look around you and de-clutter. If you did not use it in the last year you probably
never will - so why let anything sit in your house or garage gathering dust and
taking up space if you can list it on your T-connect page and sell it?

Take a tour through SFI's page and have a look - you might find more interesting tips and training to do what you need to do - make money.

I have a Wave 3 banner on my car and decided to leave it there after the changes came into affect. People see it on my car and ask me about it and I tell them.

I advertise, advertise and advertise where ever I can and as often as I can.

I advertise to recruit affiliates and I advertise TripleClicks, ECA's, individual products, Price Benders auctions, 99c auctions and games.

I share as much as I can without being kicked off sites like Facebook and Twitter.

I have a link at the bottom of my e-mails but I do not like to drown my friends in e-mails trying to sell stuff.

I have a blog and I can advertise there as much as I like.

I am always looking for ways and opportunities to advertise.

I don't think there is an easy or simple answer to your question.

If you sell T-currency as a service to your customers (to make it easier for them), it might be of benefit to you but if you want to sell it to make a profit on them I think it is not worth it.

Why do I say this? If you sell it as a service with no profit to yourself it will benefit your customers because they can do their shopping conveniently "under one roof"
If you sell it to make a profit it is a different story. Why would your customers buy something from you at a higher price if they can buy it from TripleClicks for less?
They might buy it from you the 1st time but as soon as they look further into it they will discover that they can get it cheaper. When they discover this it will also have an impact on their trust in you. That is true for me at least - I will be inclined to think: If this guy sells T-credits at a higher price, isn't it possible that I can get the products he sells also at a lower price?

Another factor is - how easy or difficult is it in your customers country of residence to make online purchases? If credit or debit cards are part of their daily life and the way they make most or all of their purchases, they will not have a problem making online purchases and can therefore shop around for the best deal. If it is not and there are many rules and regulations and other obstacles to overcome it might not be worth their while.

In the end your goal should be to make it as easy as possible for your customers to buy from you.

If you say they have money to invest, do you mean they have a small budget or do you mean they have big money and looking for investments?

I would be very careful to try and attract the "big boys". Please understand - I do not mean that we do not have a real business. I mean we know it is not just putting the money in and wait for the profits. We have to actively work and build a business. These big guys are looking for a business that needs money to grow and they want to look at a business plan and see how their money is going to make the plan work. They want profit - and you can not give them a number and time frame that they can expect returns on their investments.

If you are talking about ordinary people with a little money they are willing to invest in their own business it is different. To these guys you can show your income and you can use the income calculator to show them what is possible - but you have to be honest and tell them it is not easy money and they have to work for it.

You can not build up unrealistic expectations with anybody because it will come back to bite you.
