This is a good question, Redonna but I feel it cannot be answered simply. Every one has different reasons for not progressing in a business like this. My advice to you would be to try and find out from your PSAs what it is they want from SFI and work out between you how to best go about achieving that goal.
Once you've established what has been hindering the progress of your individual team members, you can maybe set them tasks to perform to help them to see how they can truly benefit once they apply themselves better. Show them what you do to build your VersaPoint total and include them in your recruiting by offering them a share in your co op. After all, their success is linked directly to your own.
When we're trying to motivate dormant PSAs/CSAs, we need to approach them as individuals because you will find that there is no clear cut answer that will fit them all.

What is the best plan to give your new PSAs to help them get started...from day one through their third month in SFI?

Hi Melvin,
This question hasn't been asked as fully as you have. "through to the third month" is a very important addition to a much asked question.
That said, there are more than one way to open a parcel(I don't believe in skinning cats).
You must first establish what funds your affiliates have to invest in SFI if any at all. I hear many people suggesting that you tell your new affiliates to get a standing order. If they have no funds to invest, this will scare off someone who may have become your best mover. It is possible to attain EA rank and to sustain it through to the second month without any financial help.
Now if your new PSA has no funds, you may want to tell them to be frugal with their VersaPoints. You have 330vp-341vp in any month excluding February for daily activities. Which leaves just over 1150vp to find in order to reach executive affiliate. The most important thing for them to do in their first month is learn the business. I know you keep on reading this but it cannot be stressed enough...Learn the basics...do the launchpad...learn the Rules of Success. Advise them that they need not think about making money in their first 2 months as this will be their training period. Building a successful business takes time. It does not happen overnight as you may have heard in the on-line ads that are in rotation right now. Once they learn how to build their down-line and how to post ads effectively, they will see how powerful this program can be and they will see that keeping their EA ranking is a small price to pay for success.
Of course, if your PSA expresses willingness to invest in a standing order then you have no worries. You need simply to help them the best way that you can by giving them all the tools that have helped get you where you are today.
To summarize:
I would tell them to focus on the training for now. Try to build trust so that they will have confidence in following your lead. Show them that this is not a scam and that it really works but they will not be successful in their first month or second, or even their third but by this time they will start to see the rewards of their efforts.
As a member of SFI for only 3 months, this is the best advise I can give. I am sure you will get a much more detailed answer further down the line but I hope this will help you in the meantime and provide you with at least one angle from which to approach this topic.
Wishing you all the best!

I almost gave up on SFI. What did you do to keep pushing forward?

Hi Dignasia,
I too almost gave up but the fact that we're both here tells us that we have what it takes to succeed.
When I first opened the Affiliate Centre, I took one look at it and ran away. "This is way too far over my head," I thought. My sponsor saw me on the traffic exchange where he recruited me from and asked me to come back. He explained that it was really very straight forward and he offered to help me every step of the way. I came back and (as he suggested) I started with the SFI Basics. I went through the tasks to achieve the first VersaPoints and read through them carefully. You know I never needed his help after all. Everything I needed to know to make a success was within these pages.
Months went by and I was starting to struggle but I kept doing the daily 'To Do' list and began participating here in Ask SC. In my opinion Ask SC is the most powerful training tool in SFI. Every question is answered by people from all walks of life with different outlooks and varying experiences. These factors make for an immensely rich and rewarding experience.
The Forum provided me with immediate answers to my questions and I get a feeling that people here really do care. "Why should they care about me?" I asked myself. You know...it didn't matter why. They care enough to offer me their full support and that is all that matters. This is a very infectious behavioural trait. I find myself looking for people that I can help now. In the chatrooms and forums outside of SFI I have been helping strangers with their SFI needs. Thank you to all the members who came to my aid when I felt like quitting.
The short answer is to just stick with it and do a little something each day to get you closer to your goals. You will find yourself picking up valuable skills along the way. You will start to notice your commissions increase and you will be approached by people wanting to be in YOUR SFI team. This is now happening to me but for 6 months, I felt like I was going nowhere when in actual fact, I was building my reputation, my brand, trust with my audience and network. All these things are needed to be a success in on-line marketing but it takes time so be patient.

Hi Sherri,
This is a very good question. It helps to bring everyone's attention to the great tools at our disposal.
Before I give my answer, I would just like to agree with a previous member that Ask SC should be included in the Power Tools as it is the best training tool here (in my opinion). It has a wide range of answers which depend upon who is asking and who is answering which makes it the most dynamic Power Tool at SFI.
Now...because Ask SC is not in the Power Tools tab, I will give you my next best answer.
I believe the most powerful tool in the power tools tab are the PSA and CSA mailers. My reason for this is simple:
I am fairly new to SFI (3 months) and am always learning new things all the time. I must assume that my down-line are in the same position as me and could use all the help they can get. I am constantly scouring the internet for new ways to help me get my SFI message across to as many people as I can and as cheaply as I can. Every time I find such information, I communicate it directly to my down-line. This way I can ensure that as I grow stronger so are my down-line. Some of them will better utilise the tools I have shown them and others will write to me to ask me to explain them further. Either way, I am building a relationship with them and they are benefiting from my communication.
To summarize:
Communication is very(if not the most)important attribute to team building. Therefore the mailer is the most powerful tool at my disposal.
Wishing you the very best in SFI!

Why is creating duplication in your SFI business important?

Hello Pavle,
I want to answer this as simply as possible without any complicated terminology because I strongly feel that many new recruits can be scared away by over complicated explanations.
First of all let me stress that duplication is only important if you're following the guidelines and completing your training. Therefore it is of utmost importance that you familiarize yourself with all income streams and tools of SFI & TripleClicks.
You want to be doing everything possible to make your business a success.
By using all the resources here at SFI and finding your own methods, you will be recruiting PSAs.
By creating a standing order you will maintain your EA rank and reap all the benefits that come with this such as keeping your CSAs and sharing in the executive pool.
By recruiting an ECA, you will earn lifetime royalties on all products sold by them.
Here's the kicker!
Teach your PSAs to duplicate what you're doing and teach them how important it is to teach their downline the same. Your downline goes up to 12 levels deep so your commissions and matching VersaPoints will grow exponentially because you will be earning commission from their downline's downline and so on.
SFI Basics and Compensation Plan will show you the figures and some of the more successful members have compiled videos (which can be found on the popular video sites) demonstrating how duplication works. They include tables and figures to demonstrate how a handful of PSAs in your first level can give you a sizeable income with duplication.

What is the best one-liner or sentence you can use in a general advertisement about SFI?

Hi Reema,
Your question is very significant. Especially to the new members like myself. As time progresses, I find myself editing the text ads provided in the 'Marketing' more and more. Adding that personal touch to the text ads can make all the difference. Even more so when we can shorten the message down to one line or sentence. Your question has encouraged me to do just that.
This is what I have come up with:
"We are looking for motivated individuals with access to the internet to join my home-based, internet sales & marketing team; full training will be given FREE of charge."
I may go on to say, "If this sounds like something you would enjoy doing, apply at: www.sfi4.com/xxxxxxxx"
You are absolutely right in looking for a one-line advertisement in today's fast moving environment; people just don't have the time or patience to read through lengthy ads. By shortening your ad but retaining the key-words, you make it far more effective.
Wishing you a prosperous future

Outside of your downline, what is the best way to get WAVE3 signups?

Hi Richard,
You can set up a promo booth in the shopping mall. Make up some attractive boards and prepare a few different pitches for different demographics. Have leaflets made up and have plenty of X-Cards to hand out. Have a special offer that will draw people in like, "$12 gift card with every new membership!"
Have two chairs and a table for when someone shows interest-sitting comfortably while talking will make all the difference to how attentive and responsive they are. Show them how it works on a laptop using the mall's wifi. Show them how you will maintain an on-line presence to guide them if needed.
Seal the deal with a handshake.
I believe the best opportunities are outside your down-line. You can show people how they can make huge savings in the auctions, start their first on-line store with a ready made format for showcasing and selling their products, save TCredits and MRP to purchase goods from the store, a potential of over 100 000 members willing to promote their products...
They should be beating down the door to get in on this marvellous program :)
Good luck with your sign-ups! Whatever path you choose, I wish you success!

How many hours a week do I need to devote to SFI to become successful?

Hi Terence,
Good question! I need to begin to answer with a question...
How many hours can you comfortably spare?
I have seen answers of 1-2 hours and 3-4 hours. This is ok once you are established and you are comfortable with the way things are progressing but if you're just starting out, you may want to put in as many hours as you can (comfortably).
In the beginning, you're building the foundation of your business. Just like any building, you may not start see the benefits of your work until your foundation is complete. The more time you put into your business now, the stronger your foundation will be then you can take the advice given in the other answers and settle down to a comfortable daily 1,2,3 or even 8 hours per day. I am not employed so some days I put in 12+ hours a day surfing traffic exchanges, placing ads in classifieds, building relationships on social media and even talking to people offline. If you are employed you cannot devote as much time and if you have other commitments...the same. This is why I say to devote as much time as you COMFORTABLY can.
There is so much to learn. Granted...SFI has provided us with all the training we need to begin but this will take time to digest and many hours of trial and error before you get your advertising right etc. The training alone took up 2-4 hours a day of my time in my first month. I wanted to be successful and if you want to be successful, you have to put in the time and effort. So I guess you can even measure the level of success you want by the amount of time and effort you put into this business.
So, to summarize...You should devote as many hours a day/week as you can, comfortably. The more time and effort you put into your business now will pay off great dividends later.
I wish you success with SFI and hope you find a comfortable time frame to work in...Good Luck!

Which will help me the most in becoming successful in SFI--sponsoring affiliates or referring TripleClicks members?

Hi Izekor,
Both are as important as each other. I am not well versed in the names of the income streams but I will tell you what I've learnt about this business.
It is very important to build a team as this gives you a residual income(I know one lol). By signing up 2-5 active affiliates who maintain at least EA rank and teaching them to sign up 2-5 active affiliates who do the same, you will gain matching VP up to 12 levels. You will also gain access to the TC executive pool which will give you so many benefits including second home CSAs.
Now all this depends upon the TC executive pool which you wont have without sales. The money must come from somewhere and it comes from the sales generated by the TripleClicks store. This is why referring TripleClicks members is equally important.
Of course...if you find yourself stronger in one department then you can concentrate on that to begin with but it is advisable to become proficient in all aspects of SFI.l This not only provides you with more income streams to make your business continually successful but it also provides you with fist hand knowledge and experience which you can pass down to your team.
Hope you find my answer helpful

How can you advise and help new PSAs when you are new to SFI and just getting started yourself?

Hi Stephen,
When I joined SFI, my sponsor gave me 2 PSAs and I asked myself the same question. What I did was this:
1. Study
I studied the pages in SFI over and over and went on-line to find relevant blogs to expand on the knowledge base here.
2. Blog
I set up my own blog and begun to write about everything I had just learnt while it was still fresh in my memory.
3. Teach
I sent group mails out to my PSAs teaching them everything I had learnt and directed them to my blog for further reading.
When we learn something, we retain more in our memories if we read it back. We retain more still if we teach it to someone else. So by teaching what you have just learnt not only helps your PSAs but helps you to better understand the information you have just processed.
I hope this helps. I found it a valuable teaching method to both my PSAs and myself.
