Hi Steve,
What is a superstar?
A superstar is a celebrity in their field. Not just any celebrity but one of huge popular appeal. A superstar is at the top of their game and every person in that field is aware of them, reveres them and looks up to them.
If you want all these things in SFI you're going to have to work for it. You should learn your industry inside out and back to front by reading the basics, the Launchpad then studying the Internet Income lessons. It shouldn't stop there...you will need to keep up to date on the latest marketing strategies, trends and product sales figures. You will need to be at the top of your game in the advertising world. After all, we're talking about being a SUPER star here and that means being one of the most popular people in the company.
There are some superstars already in SFI and they have training videos, blogs and are recruiting new members daily. They have websites which promote the sales of their own store and that of other ECAs products. If you look to the 'Growth' tab and see who is continuously performing in the top ten; check out the VersaPoint scoreboard and do the same, you will find a few superstars here. Most are merely successful but one or two are superstars. These are the celebrities you should be networking with and asking them what they do to stay on top.
"With great power comes great responsibility"~Peter Parker's uncle
Every superstar has great responsibility. Affiliates will be looking up to you and looking for pointers on how they can be successful. It would be your responsibility to be the perfect role model...someone everyone aspires to be like. Management will be watching you carefully to ensure you're being a good ambassador for SFI.
To summarize:
1) Learn your industry inside out.
2) Be at the top of your game and others will follow.
3) Be mindful that the superstar's role comes with great responsibility.
4) Be the perfect role model.
I think its great you want to be an SFI Superstar as long as you're doing it for the right reasons. I wish you all the best for your future here and may you be successful whether you're a superstar or not.

What's the best TripleClicks product to have for a Standing Order for a financially challenged affiliate?

Affiliate since: 12/31/1969, Power Rank: 99999999
Hello Salamullah,
This truly is a great question because many new affiliates do not have a lot of money to invest. Here are two standing orders that are worth considering:
IAHBE Standing Order(item number 5540) = $29.95 VersaPoints = 1500 per month
The IAHBE standing order is a great option for new affiliates because it is packed with information you can use to build your business. It has a learning centre that has ebooks to read and marketing tools to utilise. Learn how to write effective blog content and read how others have made a success out of their businesses. IAHBE provides us with excellent reading material with which to develop your business into a thriving enterprise.
125 TCredit Standing Order(item number 212474) = $36.25 VP = 1500 per month
This option is a little more but it gives you 125 VersaPoints to bid on items or even to buy products with. This would make a good choice if you like participating in the auction and you will receive an extra 125 VersaPoints for the bids you make. You will also gain a minimum of 625 Member Reward Points which you can use to purchase items from the store.
I have also seen a post in the forum that explains how to get 1500 VersaPoints per month on as little as $20. It involves a lot but may be worth further investigation.
Once again, I would like to congratulate you on a great question! This will no doubt generate some interesting responses.
Wishing you success in your SFI business venture!

What's best? Sponsoring fewer PSAs and concentrating on coaching and helping them build...or continuously sponsoring new affiliates?

Hi Andrew,
It is advisable to concentrate on both. Your downline is dynamic therefore forever changing. Whilst you can be an awesome sponsor and encourage maximum productivity from your team members, you have no control over their personal lives and so your best workers may drop out at any time. Which is why I think it is best to continually sponsor new affiliates. By all means concentrate on the ones who are in your '[movers' tab but you can't afford to think that you have enough affiliates in your team.
I think the marketing funnel helps to answer this question well. At the top of the funnel you may have 100 prospects aware of your opportunity. let us say that 50% enter the consideration stage. Out of that 50, 10 people actually convert. You may feel that 10 is a great number of affiliates especially if they duplicate your efforts but the funnel hasn't reached it's smallest yet. After a month or 2, you may find that only 1 of those stays loyal and becomes a model SFI member. A couple of months later, you may get 2-3 conversions coming back for whatever reason. They may have searched the internet for the get rich quick scheme asnd learnt it is just a dream and remembered SFI. Theuy may have felt they weren't ready but now are.
You see how dynamic your downline can be?
For this reason you cannot afford to stop recruiting new members into your down-line. If you feel you have to many PSAs to be able to give them your undivided attention, you can always re-assign some to one of your PSAs that you feel are capable of giving them the same care (maybe even better. You will still get the same commissions from them if you re-assign them to another PSA in your downline. If you're worried about what will become of them if their new sponsor leaves, allay your fears for they simply get rolled back to you. This looks to me like a win-win situation.
So to summarize:
Concentrate on coaching those few really good affiliates but don't stop- sponsoring new ones because your downline is forever changing. I would like to add that while one to one coaching is awesome. We have the group mailer with all its brilliant filtering system to help provide that personal touch even when your downline grows to 1000s.
I truly hope this helps you, Andrew. Have a successful future here in SFI!

What is the best way of encouraging affiliates who have become dormant to become active again?

Hi Juliet,
I have been struggling with this issue myself since starting just over two months ago. I have just begun to glean results from my efforts. Here's what I do:
I have a general PSA/CSA mailer that I send out everytime I come across something useful that I have just discovered. It may be an advertising technique or a new product that I believe will generate sales. This goes out to everyone. I believe that this is also useful in generating interest in the dormant members as they may have been struggling with the same topics I am writing to them about.
Regarding the CSAs who have very little or zero VersaPoints, I send them mail once a week. What I do is look at their VP ledger to see if I can identify areas they may be struggling with and offer them advice on how to get these points. I also check their goals and see if I can rekindle their interest in achieving them through SFI and TripleClicks.
Finally, I have just started up a free ad co-op for those who are active but are struggling to get new sign-ups. I make sure that I include dormant members in my Mails regarding any developments in this so that they are aware that there is help here if they apply themselves.
I hope this has been helpful to you, Juliet. Good luck in your endeavours!

How do you convince your life partner that investing in your SFI business is prudent?
, Aff ()

Affiliate since: 12/31/1969, Power Rank: 99999999
Hi Petru
I see many answers here that are not looking at the fact it is your life partner we're talking about. You cannot treat your friends and family like customers. The best way to get a family member or close friend involved is to show them how successful you are doing. If they want to invest in you or in SFI & TripleClicks in their own right, I'm sure they will once they've seen that you are flourishing.
However, they may not want to take the same route as you and may want to support your business by being supportive to you by helping to inspire you, being there for you when you need someone to vent your ideas on or by giving you encouragement when they feel you need it. There are many ways for a life partner to invest in your business.
If your life partner needs convincing then maybe they're simply not ready to enter into this business. If they're not confident in investing here then maybe you just need to let them see a little at a time just how you share your little achievements on Twitter and Facebook, you could show them when you've just made a sale or reached an important goal.
Which is more important to you?...Respecting your partner's wishes or having them join your business no matter what?...I'm sure you will reach a balance and only you will know what that is. We can't tell you...just advise.
I do hope your partner sees all the benefits of investing and that you accept whatever type of investment they decide they can give.
Have a very happy new Year!

What do you tell prospects who say they aren't interested in SFI because they don't know very many people?

Hello and thank you for raising this!
When we start a new job or embark on a new career of any kind, most of us start not knowing anyone. Some are fortunate enough to know one person which is usually the one who recommended you and others are very fortunate and enter into a business with a group of friends. Entering a new project is exciting and new things await you around each corner. Building relationships is a big part of marketing and newcomers will spend the majority of their time in doing this.
Plus one (+1)
Building a business is all about building relationships. The very fact that you are conversing with this person and answering their questions is proof of that. Tell them that is what you are doing right now. You are getting to know them (plus one). Building a strong team involves finding new people and showing them how SFI & TripleClicks can help them to achieve their financial goals. Some will listen and some wont. Every person is unique and will bring something different to the table. The act of building relationships with these people will enrich your experience and broaden your skills. You will learn a lot about how to approach new people by trial and error...there is no better learning experience.
So...to answer your question, I would tell them something like this:
"It is not important how many people you know because you will be building new relationships and forging new alliances as you learn how to get your message out into the internet. The internet has an abundance of people looking for opportunities. Seek them out one at a time (+1). Do something each day to get your message across better(+1). Make it your goal to talk to one new person each day(plus one). You don't have to be pushing SFI down their throats; it is enough to make one new friend either in the forums, in chat, on Facebook, Twitter, the list goes on."
I hope I have been of some help to you. Wishing all the best, my friend.

For SFI affiliates, what is the most overrated activity...and what is the most underrated activity?

Good question, Doreen!
It is hard to think of an over-rated activity because they all have great benefits when implemented properly and the under-rated activities are many but I will stick with my personal ones.
Personally, I find the Wave 3 promotion a little over-rated merely because I haven't had any queries from passers-by to date and I feel they should be made to stick on the inside of the window.
As for the most under-rated activity, I would say that has to be the Stream Posts. I find not enough members make regular posts here. The Stream can be a very valuable source of inspiration and information. It provides a place where we can post those spontaneous thoughts that inspire us, allowing us to pass it on to other members of our team and SFI.

Hello Karmen!
You can't argue with facts and raw data. Each day when you do your daily tasks make a note of how many people joined the previous day and from how many countries then relay these figures to your prospective recruit. This...along with a 20 year proven track record should help to allay their fears.
Another way to convince people is by telling them that they can join totally free and NEVER have any financial obligations to being a member. You could explain to them that it is in fact possible to build their business here without ever investing their own money but it is advisable to invest if they want to reap the benefits from the executive pool.
one other way is to direct them to Alexa.com. Again, its hard to argue with the facts and figures presented therein and this site is independent from SFI. In fact, a visit to Alexa should be enough to prove to anyone that SFI & TripleClicks are 'legit'.
Good luck with your recruiting, Karmen!

I live in Africa. How can I become successful in SFI?

Hello Aaron and welcome to SFI,
"How can I become successful in SFI?" has already been addressed.
I don't know how this question got into Ask SC. I understand you have a lot of obstacles to overcome like high import/export taxes but this is better dealt with in the forum.
An affiliate who does not live in Africa cannot answer this question and have a chance at the top author VersaPoints. So, in my opinion, this is an unfair question to submit to Ask SC.
However, I do understand that it is difficult in some African countries but this is not the case in all African countries. I have some A2A friends who are thriving from within Africa. Maybe it would be a good idea to search A2A for others in your country and see how they have overcome certain obstacles you have encountered.
I wish you all the best Aaron!

What are the best ways to sell TCredits and where is the best place to advertise them?

Hi Helen,
Interesting choice of marketing. Selling TCredits isn't something most people think of.
I would advice that you seek out penny auction enthusiasts at the penny auction forums. You can advertise Pricebenders and add a text ad below offering a variety of TCredit packages. It is advisable not to go straight in with your promotion before you have built some sort of reputation in the forum. People are more likely to buy from someone they know and trust.
Another platform to promote TCredits from would be a blog. If you don't already have one, you could set up a blog about Pricebenders. Talk about your experiences and your wins. Display the dynamic Pricebenders banner at the top of your blog. Your blog is now a great place to advertise for TCredits.
I have seen a few answers referring to social media. If you're going to use social media, I strongly advise you build a relationship with your audience before plugging your products. There are so many people out there promoting their products and services, we tend to switch off when we see them. If you're going to use a platform like Facebook. Try to promote yourself first by ensuring your posts have good content. Once you have an audience who you are interacting with, you can start to advertise your TCredits.
Selling TCredits is an excellent idea but know your audience and interact with them before plugging your product. You will get more conversions this way.
Hope this helps you in some way.
