How do you prepare your affiliates for their second month in the business?

You don't, if you try to get them to the second month too fast then they will end up jumping all over the place and really missing out on getting to know the business, it's not about how much you obtain but how much you retain, saying you "know" something and "showing you know something is 2 different things so if you prepare them make sure they understand the "basics" before they jump to the 2nd month
Why don't more people work towards advancing in SFI?

Well, I believe that more people would want to advance if they could get morte support from their upline and i also believe that if more opportunities were available to correspond with those that dont speak english as they should be encouraged to translate their page so that they can speak to their upline.
I think it's a shame that their are so many people from other countries who join and only make a few points every month and yet i try my best to message them but i never get any responses but that won't make me give up.

What are the signs that a new affiliate is going to be a good one?

To me, the only way you can know if you have a good affiliate is when you check your VP"s and your PSA's ledger because many will want to say they want to make money but in the end the "proof is in the pudding" so when you do your part and your affiliate does their part then you can see the results and know that you have a good affiliate to work with.
How can I get more of my affiliates to upgrade to EA?

The best way is to keep encouraging them to visit their site everyday but the best way is to remind them that you cannot do it for them they have to want it.

standing orders and to do list are good ways to earn points but also tripleclicke is another effective way to get points also.
I have many affiliates in my genealogy that haven't been active for weeks. Should I just ignore them?

Never ignore your downline, remmeber in the sif rules of success, that being a team leader is called "committment" and also this is your business so if you hire someone to work for you and you see them not working what do you do?, because that individual is part of the key to your financial succes, that person is important to you and the business, try to do your part and send them encouragement to stay focused and then either they will or they will not.
How can I sponsor affiliates using email without spamming?

Just make sure you tell them to add you to their mailing list that way you dont end up in the bulk or spam folder many times people don't mention to do this and end up not getting a response because they fail to mention to add me to your mailing list this will solve the rpoblem of getting deleted.

free advertising does work because you never know who is going to read your business at any time so the lore you advertise the more likely you will get someone interested.

I believ the best wat to inspire a sense of team participation is to get your team involcved in some prize competitions such as VP, co-op sharing and sddo forth if the team can get involved you hav a greater chance of having a successful downline.
What is your experience or your opinion about running contests (and providing prizes) to motivate your PSAs?

I know that prizes are a valuable way to get yout team motivated and a good incentive for them to see the fun a beneficial way to gain a strong team but i have found that i did that but noone in my downline even tried to get to that point but nevertheless, it is still effective.
