I have affiliates come to me for help who are not part of my team--should I help them or send them away?

The affiliates who approach you asking for help, must be welcomed and respected in the same way as you do with someone from your team. You must help them, give them tips, try to help them the way they want.
The only thing you must take care is that the team-mail should not be used for personal reasons so that there is any danger to your affiliate-ship.

I don't have time to do free advertising. What are the best paid advertising options?

There are a lot of paid advertising options, of them some are:

1.Use S-Builder Coop.
2.Participate in the co-op run by your sponsor or you run it and distribute shares with your team.
3.Run an ad in your local cable network.
4.Post a classified in your local newspaper/employment news.
5.You can advertise/ post classified in:

If you send a tutorial/training to your new affiliates, what information do you provide?

In a tutorial/training, the following points must be covered:

1.Short introduction about SFI and his/her role in SFI.

2.Brief discussion about the VP and benefits chart.

3.Completion of "TO-DO LIST" and "LAUNCHPADS".

4.Brief discussion regarding sponsoring.

5.Telling to be always above "GREEN LINE" and also enrollment in the "DAILY GRAND".

You must welcome him/her with warm words. Thank him/her for being a part of your team. Introduce yourself to the affiliate and assure him full support as and when required. In short, grab the opportunity to develop initial contact.

What is your experience or your opinion about running contests (and providing prizes) to motivate your PSAs?

It is a good thing to have some contests to motivate the PSAs and also to add interest and excitement in their work.
For this you may arrange different kinds of competition, a few may be as follows:
1.For the achieving EAs and TLs.
2.For quick reply to mail/stream posts ( to see they log in regularly)
3.For highest sponsor.

Also I would recommend to have the rewards which are worth useful to them may be an IAHBE subscription or a unit or two of S Builder Co op and surely

The 3 biggest key to success with SFI is:
1.Duplication.
2.Regular and smart working.
3.Marketing.

First of all, learn what SFI is and learn to work with it. Then use the resources the site provides to expand the business and lastly carry on and monitor the work.

The first and foremost thing required to work as a team is COMMUNICATION. Communicate with your team members (upline and downline both) so well that there is no chance of any confusion and the things get easy. Be friendly with all team members.

Next thing comes is GOOD LEADERSHIP. Be an awesome sponsor and the tips for it are available on the site itself. Also you can do much more to inspire your affiliates to perform. Some things that make you a good sponsor is:

According to my ideology, achieving mediocrity is just the development of a nature of kind of showmanship, which makes one feel that he/she has been working hard and have a good status but actually it is lacking all that is shown in the person's behavior.

Where as the person who really wants to achieve success has a quite different attitude.
He/she will never try to show off how hard they are working instead they concentrate on their efforts and try to maximize it and what they show
