Keep it as simple and easy to understand as possible. Don't overload them with the total picture. Tell them to stick to the basics and not try to read all the information contained on their SFI website. Many try and are soon lost or overwhelmed by the information found there.

I tell my team to do the 'To Do List' and the Lauchpad. They can also gain much with SFI basics, but should go no further in the first few days.

How do you get your PSAs and CSAs to answer you when you write to them?

Always have something positive to say. I also give my folks different ways to contact me; such as email, phone and skype. You'd be surprised how many will use skype and it is fun to talk to people all around the world. If they have a video cam, it's even more fun.

I have many affiliates in my genealogy that haven't been active for weeks. Should I just ignore them?

NEVER give up on someone. Always send encouragement and give hints on how to do better. Remember, only they can decide if SFI is right for them. They may give up or they may finally decide to give it a shot. You don't make that decision for them.

I have affiliates come to me for help who are not part of my team--should I help them or send them away?

With out a doubt, help them! First, they came to you for a reason - perhaps they read one of your post and were impressed - and feel you can help them where others wouldn't or couldn't.

Remember, we are all part of a huge team and the more we help one another the better the team. The more successful we all make SFI, the more successful each of us can become.

Where can I find SFI success stories? And/or perhaps YOU have one to share?

What do you call success? Each person has their own goals and dreams and each will have their own definition of the word success. Personally, I have found success in helping over 500 others find their 'success' in since joining SFI less than 3 month ago.

What do you feel are the 3 biggest keys to success with SFI?

1. Learn the business - let the leaders show you WHY they are the leaders.
2. Help other achieve - their success will be your success.
3. Don't re-invent the steps that are already there. Duplication is key.

Do you reward your active CSAs the same as you reward your active PSAs? If not, how do you reward them?

Absolutely! As an ex coach in football and basketball, I realize that each member of a team should be treated as an equal member. Just because someone is not a 'starter' does not mean he/she does not contribute to the whole. Even the last substitute on a team will, at some point, have a chance to shine. As the 'coach' of your team, be sure that he/she is ready for that chance.

How do I encourage my affiliates to set up a Standing Order?

First, lead by example; Then, explain to them the benefits of a standing order. I encourage my team to go with the IAHBE for their first SO, because it is inexpensive and they will learn a great deal from reading and studying all the information contained in each month's presentation. Another great SO is the S-Builder Co-op - new people will benefit greatly from having new members join their teams from this super simple method of team building.

I know I should work with the workers, but how many follow-up messages should I send to inactive CSAs/PSAs before giving up on them?
