Does having a co-op for your downline help get them active and stay active?

having a co-op for your down line is good but not as a stand alone. Run competitions and encourage members to join via ths method.
Everyone likes something for nothing and committed affiliates will be greatly motivated by success however small. the down side to selling places should be obvious.
And remember the more successful your down line the more successful you are so build your co-op put in place your advertising and get your team motivated with competitions and gifts.
If someone makes EA give them a place = more affiliates for them and more likely they will be EA longer and even bronze when they make bronze give them more. If you build them up you build yourself for the long term - look aheaad see the big picture

How do I encourage my affiliates to set up a Standing Order?

Firstly any affiliate who is serious about the business will hve worked out right away that a standing order is the best way to purchase at reduced cost and secure EA status.
If they have not grasped this then you have to educate your PSA by a personal E.mail, group mailing tec to enlighten your affiliate to the benefits of a standing order.
They question was specific "how do I encourage my affiliates" and that is to explain the benefits show them the advantages and point them to the information on the site.
Please remember your affiliates are from all walks of life and backgrounds so what is obvious to you in not necessary obvious to them.
get to know them chat on line and run through their issues if any
if you like you place yourself in charge of your work force, (as you are) and like in any business training is essential

the first thing to decide is how much you would like to spend.
then compile a different list of ways of advertising
add and frree methods and special offers
for example
word of mouth it is free
add a message to your emails - free
visit small business and get them to sell onTripleclicks - free
design and publish a web site - or get a frind to help usually - low cost $5
passing out SFI cards and leaving them where ever you go - low cost
ad words from google 10p per click
posters and flyers - just above low cost
these are just a few
everyone is interested and would like SFI/triple clicks products you just have to introduce them to their specific interest. So get to know the products and tell your friends

banner advertising on your web site is an excellent promotional tool.
To maximise the impact you need to instill the image in the minds of the viewer. To do this I place a banner for each aspect right along the top of each page. One of the banners, be it the auction, or making money etc will appeal to someone.
(The easiest way to do this it to add the banners to the Master page then it will appear on the top of each page - or down the side position to maximise the impact and see the click roll in)

When in business, and this is a very serious business, you have to "take stock" Sometimes you may focus on one area and miss a whole lot of oportunities.
Step back from yourself and look at you, and your business.
Decide where you want to be next week, next month and next year then break each task into smaller achievable parts.
Once that is done, all you need to do it take the small steps to achieve each stage of the way -
- in short plan your course then you know where your going

obviously that is up to you the amount is what you wish to invest in the business more importantly is how you spend it. Make sure you target the right advertising and take advantage of co-op offers or start your very own co-op. If your on limited budget these are excellent ways of starting. If not decide on an amount you can afford to invest each month and go for it! As your business grows then you can increase the rate at which you advertise and the amount of people to join you. It's like the old snowball rolling down the hill it just gets bigger and bigger as the snow attaches (as the new affiliates join you)

I have a large downline, but few are advertising SFI. How can I get them to start advertising and marketing SFI?

It is sometimes hard to extimate the costs of advertising and your team might be reluctant to get into it incase it costs more than they would like to spend
You might like to point them to googles ad words and yahoos bing ad in total £80 of free ads - In that way they can test out free of charges and find that they can advertise for just $1 per day.
Dont forget to tell them about the key codes so they can see how many people click through from the web site/s
