This is a great question. A blog can potentially be a great tool in advertising your SFI affiliate gateway, TripleClicks, Pricebenders, ECA and TC Gift Cards.

One of the most important things to remember when using a blog is that keywords (descriptive words strategically placed in the blog) are of the utmost importance. Your most valuable keywords will be in your title, description and meta tags.

Title...It is very important to find a suitable, yet available title that has popular key words that people actually search for. You also want key words to be ones that aren't already used in too many blog titles, so you need to find a happy medium between popularity and competition.

Description...When forming the description of your blog, make it a powerful statement that shows your exact content. Keep it short and to the point and definitely use key words because this is one of the first thing users will see after your title.

Meta Tags...One of the easiest ways for your blog to be correctly indexed by search provider robots (crawlers) is the use of meta tags. A good rule of thumb is 10 to 12 key words, separated by commas, in the body of your HTML between the opening and closing head tags. Check your blog providers specific instructions on meta tag generation.

Your blog won't become an overnight sensation simply because of meta tags, or because of your title or description alone. Quality, regularly updated content along with inline keywords and two to three handsome banners from SFI, TripleClicks, Pricebenders etc. added to the methods listed above, will give your blog a very good chance of bringing in eager readers.

Make sure you form a relationship with other bloggers who are interested in the same kind of blogging and encourage readers to leave comments and to subscribe. Use good grammar and spelling and don't make your blog a banner farm, it's a real turn-off.

I believe the best way for you to associate your blog or website with SFI is to write honestly about the program and with style. Keeping your reader there and interested is your number one goal.

Be confident while authoring your blog. Don't be afraid to let others know how passionate you are about SFI, however, making obvious empty promises will leave your reader scrambling back to the search results.

The handsome new banners and promotional material here are perfect ways to associate your website with SFI.

Blog is short for "web log", so using it as an ongoing log of new and exciting happenings at SFI will keep your subscribers informed and up to date. Posting regular updates with carefully chosen keywords will have the search crawlers coming back to spread your words.

Interlinking and quality content would probably be my best advice on how to associate your blog/website with SFI. Your well-written articles will reduce your bounce rate and increase other's interest in your business.

You could learn a lot from experienced bloggers who have advertising in their blog. Look for the ones ranked high in Alexa with quality content, they will probably have a good bit of comments from other bloggers who know about advertising.

Another way to learn about advertising would be to look at Amazon or eBay for "Advertising For Dummies". It is actually very affordable.

You could also join IAHBE (The International Association Of Home Business Entrepreneurs), available at TripleClicks and comes with 1500 VersaPoints, so you don't have to worry about EA status while you're learning.

I'd say the best place would be an entire blog dedicated to SFI, TripleClicks, Wave3, Pricebenders, ECA program, PIPPA and TC Gift Cards. Where else would you be able to freely share and discuss the benefits of all these programs from your point of view?

While SFI has a tremendous amount of banners, text ads, X-Cards and so on to promote, an entire blog would allow you to explain in detail each and every aspect of the business you are so passionate about.

Blogs allow you to add relevant material to any post whenever you like. It is also a great place to embed a TripleClicks "Deal Of The Day" banner, so you always have a fresh product for people to consider daily. The SFI banner I have on my blogs has a higher click-through ratio by far than any banner I've ever promoted.

The best thing about blogging is once you get your keywords set and indexed, you will get ranked higher and higher in the search engines just by adding quality material regularly. Soon enough you will see people coming in from all over the world as they search for those keywords.

Blogging also gives you a great tool with the "follow" option. Once people trust the information you share, you have the potential to reach thousands, even millions of readers when they share your content and the viral lift takes off.

The best advice I ever got from my up line was: "Read, read & re-read". I love to read about SFI and I find that reading just one or two things a day in the forum or stream, helps me more than trying to overload my brain up front. I still find things here daily that surprise/help me. I found that rushing through the information just causes problems later.

I think I would put the gift cards in birthday and Christmas cards etc. I would also give them to people I know have a good work ethic and have at least some background in marketing. Once I have done that, I might give them to affiliates in my team in recognition of some achievement, or as an enticement to meet goals. Giving them to prospective ECA's might open their eyes to how TripleClicks works so they can decide on their own.

Here is how I would respond:

"I am a part of the #1 affiliate program in the world and I am satisfied that it will eventually lead to a full-time income and carry me through to retirement."

I couldn't possibly respond in one sentence, for there is so much to say about SFI, TripleClicks, PriceBenders, Wave3 etc.

I can't imagine why anyone would do something so impersonal. I see Gery Carson responding to people all the time, and I guess he has more referrals and questions asked than anyone.

I use the auto-responder here only for when I'm not available to immediately greet a new PSA or CSA, but I always follow through as soon as possible.

I realize that a number of you have huge down lines, but not all are active. Remember, you asked them in one way or another to join us so they expect a real person to communicate with them.
