When I first joined I was allocated my Co-Sponsor as is every single affiliate. My Co-Sponsor happened to be another affiliate who joined the same day as I did, and I NEVER received a single email, encouragement or contact from them, although I was working really hard. I didn’t like the feeling that I was not important so I vowed that I would not do that to my CSAs.

Every week I send out a Weekly Email including a Tip of the Week. I send the Weekly Email to all my Team members (over 1800) including the CSA’s, as they are just as important as my PSAs and all other Generation affiliates.

I also include them in my challenges for shares in my Team Advertising Co-Op. I set up the Co-Op because it was the only way I could pass on PSAs to my CSAs as well as all Gen 2-5, (I use PSA reassignments as rewards for my PSAs but can’t for anyone else in my Team).

I also avail myself to everyone in my Team in case they have individual questions or concerns, I am always here to help and it is encouraging for me when I have contact with anyone (especially my CSAs, as I am unsure whether they are receiving any specific help from their own Sponsor).

What a great question.

Firstly, I went full steam ahead when I joined, (because I already had an understanding of Online Multi-level Marketing), as such I was not too overwhelmed.

As for my Team Members – I am always available to help anyone (Team Members, a2a friends, or anyone who asks). I break the processes for working the business into manageable sections, showing them where to find information on things they need clarification on – using the marketing tools, training modules, LaunchPad Lessons etc or directing them to books and websites that may help (I even created a website for anyone to use based solely on SFI and my journey).

I ensure that I make contact with each new Affiliate with an email welcoming them and introducing myself – it also explains the importance of Fast Tracking (receiving the boost of the 200VP bonus as well as the Badge on their homepage). I also include a challenge as well as an offer that I am always available should they have any concerns to contact me – I am here to help. Because of this I have been able to work closely with my Team to help them overcome the hurdles they face - as they occur.

My first email is below (and I am happy for anyone to use it – just change the names, dates etc to your details, and remove those portions that don’t pertain to your situation ie. Number of affiliates in your Team).

What a great Question.

When you receive reassignments from your Sponsor they are usually given as a reward for achieving a goal(s). If a Sponsor is rewarding everyone in their Team who also achieves the same goal, he/she may have to reassign 100's of PSAs, as such it is hard to give only active PSAs to everyone.

It is our job as a Sponsor to teach our Team (active or inactive) the best way we can, one such way is by sending Emails on a weekly basis to everyone in our Team. Not only does it help the active members, we are also rewarded with 30VP (regardless of whether our Team is active or not). So if you are just starting out and only have reassigned inactive team members, you are still able to move yourself forward by sending out a weekly email.

Once you have a Team under you, regardless of their active participation or not, you can also send Stream Posts (up to 3 a week gives you an additional 3VP).

If a member of your Team is not active yet, and if you have been steadfast in your communication, it may eventually pay off (it does happen more than you think). They may one day, wake up and have a “lightbulb” moment and see the potential that SFI has to offer, perhaps the Emails you send suddenly click with them and you will have a valuable Team Member from that moment on.

Perhaps the inactive affiliates are not working due to a language barrier, I try to reassign affiliates from the same country as the person I am giving them to, that way if necessary they can communicate in their own language and hopefully help the non-active affiliate understand things in such a way that I couldn’t.

The SFI Marketing tools are the "First port of call" for any new affiliates to tap into:

* Flyers (I found the Flyer with the Pull off Tabs to be especially good - but make sure you add your SFI ID# on them).

* X-Cards for handing out or leaving in various places (on seats when getting off the bus or train or on people's coffee tables etc).

* E-Cards to email to family, friends, acquaintances.

* The TripleClicks Gift Cards are another great way to get your name out there - giving as a tip for good service, leaving them on the bus/train, etc.

There are also other ways to market your SFI Business:

* Facebook, Pintrest and Twitter are all great social networking sites where you can post ads or links.

* The Internet have a huge range of FREE advertising sites where you can place adverts for your gateway links, blogs etc.

* If you have the money or can organise a group of affiliates from your Team, who are prepared to equally share the cost and the return (signups) then creating a CO-OP and advertising in Magazines, Online, Radio etc, utilising the total amount raised from those who want to be part of your Co-op is another great tool - it will also provide you (if you are the one who has organised the Co-op) the bonus VP when it is first set up.

There are a number of ways to earn an income with SFI:

* VersaPoints(VP) are points(shares) you earn for doing a variety of daily, weekly, monthly and continual Actions in your To Do List on your Homepage as well as for purchases you make and sales of products that other people buy. Each VP is worth so much in the Executive Pool.

* Matching VP. Once you become a Team Leader you receive Matching VP on all your EA2 (Executive Affiliates who are EA for at least two months) eg. You earn 1500VP for the Month and all your EA2s earn a total of 12000VP. You would actually be paid a total of 13700VP shares that month.

* 45% Commission Volume (CV) on orders placed by your PSAs (Personally Sponsored Affiliates).

* 45% CV AND all the associated VP on orders placed by your PRMs (Personally Referred Members).

* 15% CV on orders placed by your Co-Sponsored Affiliates (CSAs).

* 10% CV on products sold by any ECA (ECommerce Associate) you sign on.

* SFI do your Commission Report on or around the 10th of each Month, and you get paid for all your VP (including any Matching VP) and all Commissions you have earned in the previous month.

You also receive other benefits once you become an EA2 (or higher) each month – these include:

* Bonus TCredits (10-20 Free TCredits dependent on your level each month).

* 2 CSAs as soon as you reach EA2.

* Every month if you are a Team Leader you will receive a share of the thousands of Co-Sponsored Affiliates who need a New Co-Sponsor.

This is an excellent question.

Firstly, I would ask what the reasons were for considering giving up. Then I would deal with each issue individually, answering in such a way that they can understand.

I would also explain that although the first month is easy to earn enough VP to become an EA, it does take a little bit more work to reach it every month after that – BUT it is achievable and well worth NOT giving up just because it gets a little harder.

I have also just recently created a website which covers lots of everyday issues affiliates are faced with. Although my website is also an advertising website, I have specifically created it this way so it is multi-functional and hopefully a website any potential new affiliates or existing affiliates from around the world can go to for help for themselves or their own Teams. It has a lot of the helpful information from the SFI website, as well as my own input of course. I would (and have) encouraged affiliates to go and check it out if they are considering quitting, with the aim that some of their concerns and fears are alleviated.

I have always explained to ALL my Team that I am here for them, and if they have any concerns at all to contact me direct so I can help them (before it gets to the stage they are considering quitting). We are all part of the same Team and as such helping each other is the only way to grow.

Remember there is a saying: Winners never quit, and Quitters never Win, so I encourage everyone to be a WINNER and not a quitter, there is always help and answers to any obstacle you may have.

I have several things I use to help motivate my Team:

1. Personal message (seperate to the automated one that gets sent) introducing myself and offering an immediate incentive if they Fast Track and giving them some specific ideas to help them Fast Track.

2. Weekly Email with congratulations for those in our Team that have achieved goals such as EA, EA2, TL etc, as well as a WEEKLY TIP (something I have found that is helpful for affiliates to grow their business).

3. Challenges and/or Competitions with rewards of reassignments, TCredits etc.

4. Answer each email contact I receive quickly and as detailed and informative as I can.

5. When I achieve a goal(s) I also offer a small challenge to the Team so they can win something as well.

6. Encourage through example - achieving as many Badges as possible and explaining how I achieved them via my Emails.

All the Gateways SFI have created for us to utilize are wonderful, each has its benefits but I have found that you also need to know WHERE to place the gateways for them to work (Traffic Exchanges such as Easyhits4u are great).

Like most affiliates I have used most of the Gateways available to me. I have found that they all have their positives and negatives – however I have had quite a significant response to the following three Gateways:

http://www.sfi4.com/XXXX/FREE - this was the first gateway I tried and although good, once I started using the new “first” gateway I stopped using this – mainly because I preferred the new one.

http://sfi4.com/XXXX/first - my personal favourite – it is interactive and as a potential affiliate, the person viewing the page can see new signups, read some core information and hear the speaker talk about the process.

The PriceBenders Gateway www.tripleclicks.com/XXXX/pbwin is my favourite TripleClicks associated gateway, again it is interactive, and also shows the potential new member some of the items won recently which generally entices them to signup.

My reply to this question is:

Perseverance, Patience, Determination, Communication, Passion, Honesty & Integrity just to name a few.

Perseverance, Patience and Determination are qualities that are truly needed to succeed with SFI. Do not give up when it gets hard or you are not achieving the goals you set fast enough – this business is NOT a get rich quick type business – you have to work at it and over time you will be rewarded with the Financial Independence you seek.

Communication is also an important quality to have – you need to communicate with your Team in such a way that they can understand the processes to also succeed with SFI, if you are able to break processes down and explain them easily to your Team you will not only succeed yourself but more importantly you will be helping your affiliates to succeed also.

Passion for what you are doing is a quality that pays off – when you are passionate about something people WANT to join or take part in what you are doing so the more passionate you are the better the result you will achieve with promoting your business and achieving your goals.

Honesty & Integrity are very important not just with SFI but life in general. SFI is based on this quality – Gery Carson lives this way as do I – when you are honest with everyone you build an impression of who you are and also who and what the SFI Business is based on and as such people are more inclined to want to join and succeed. Even if the answer to a particular question is not what the person is wanting – try to tactfully explain the reasons behind the answer in such a way that they are not discouraged.
