I want to start a newsletter for my team of affiliates. Which topics should I focus on?

Maybe it's good to make two newsletters - for beginners and for experienced members.
Newsletter for new members must be motivational and positive.
They should get the impression that it's not difficult to succeed in the business by following your instructions. Briefly explain them how to start a business, and how to build a team, and explain to them why that is the most important thing. Much information will confuse them.
With experienced members is different.
Share with them a new ideas, explain them why to make ECA, order W3, collect more badges...

What's best to sell at TripleClicks? Cheap things or more expensive/more valuable items?

Both are good! :)
There will always be those who would not want to pay much, but will also be those who prefer to buy a more expensive and higher quality products.
From my experience salary will be the same in both cases!
Services are the best thing. There is no shipping and extra costs.
Think about what services are needed thousands of Affiliates! :)

There you can post news about your ECA store, new products, prices...
This page can see all connected ECA-s.
ECA-s can post there their fresh listed items.
News about the change of price.
News about chipping.
Deals of the day.
People can leave comments.
And lot more things.
What are some methods to attract ECAs in areas where many do not yet trust online businesses?

The first thing I tell them is that there are companies that guarantee the safety TripleClicks page - Geotrust and Better Business Bureau. I also propose to them to see how many vendors and how products are sold on the site, and show them my own ECA. Then explain how marketing works and that is all free, and only need to publish their products, everything else will be done by someone else for them.
And most important: Show them that there are people from his country.

The best explanation is that it is shorter and simpler. Everything should be explained in a few sentences. This is example of that few sentences:
SFI is the company that runs the affiliate marketing since 1998.
Our job is to promote products from TripleClicks, and SFI paid us for every product we sell with our promotions.
There are lots of ways to earn and we can make residual income.
The explanation should be Quick, Simple, Easy, as our business!

MRP (Member Reward Points) are money in TripleClicks. SFI affiliates can use this points to bay something in TC.
Ways to earn MRP:
1. Every time you buy something you will earn MRP.
example: when you buy 1 TCredit you will earn 5 MRP.
2. For every Bid in TC auctions you earn 5 MRP. There is DP auctions, 1 Bid = 10 MRP
Purchasing TC products you will earn Versa Points (VP).
example: when you buy 1 TC with 126 MRP you will get 102 VP

What do you tell prospects who say they aren't interested in SFI because they don't know very many people?

The first thing I tell them is that I also did not know a lot of people, but I managed to find them and to create a team. It is better to enroll people who are not your family members or close friends. The internet has more than 2 million people, so it's easy to find those who are willing to do this job. I am in a short time found a lot of people on the internet.
Most important: Be an example to them, prove to them that and they will success!
Which is more effective--paid or free advertising--and why?

Hello Mario,
I've had better results with free advertising. Personaly singed members is more active and we achieve better contact from the start. This is a job where hard work pays off better. I also recruit more affiliates manually, but someone better suited to paid advertising.
It is simple, and there is not much to be said.
