Advertising can be very intimidating, but mentoring via email, team mail, etc., is very not hard:) Using the very reasonably-priced ($22US/month) S-Builder will bring in between 5 & 7 new PSAs/month (if it is part of your SO, as mine is) with no effort on your part.

Now it is up to you to get and keep your new PSAs interested in learning how to do what you do, and have fun along the way to building up a successful business!! Use all the things you have been learning since you joined SFI, teach your new downline where to find, how to use and benefit from, all the excellent training we have been given!! Be always ready and able to answer their questions, or know where to look for them. Help your downlines to find the answers so they will learn, rather than just giving them information they will lose or forget!! Teach them to fish!!:))...

Give your team a clear, concise, condensed explanation of Fast-Track 2.0. Try to make it fully understandable without an extreme of extra information.

You might want to use examples of how you have benefited from F-T 2.0 -- CSAs, VPs, extra executive pool shares...

Use examples by creating a pair of fictional accounts, one affiliate taking advantage of F-T 2.0, one not. Now show the differences in the two accounts. List it on paper, then convert to words, create a comparison your new PSAs will understand regarding the advantages of Fast-Track 2.0.

It depends in part on how much time and effort you invest into SFI:) With steady effort, not a lot of money, it is possible to get a return from the beginning, as I have done. Not a lot of money, but some every month since I joined SFI.

Now, "producing income" can mean a number of things, to me. If you are looking for substantial, supportive, sustainable income, I would say you could reasonably expect to invest good solid work for at least 2 years. This is just a rule of thumb estimation, though, because it is difficult to predict how things will come together for any of us.

Success factors involved -- activity levels of affiliates, your activity level, how many P/CSAs you acquire, etc. -- make an exact estimate difficult.

You need to allow however much time it takes to reach the reasonable goals you have set for your business, and continue pressing forward until you reach them! As long as you are moving upward/forward, then you need to stay until you reach your destination, then you can coast along and reap the rewards!!:))...

The best example you can give them is a page full of badges... starting with Gold Fast Track, Finalist/E365 Champion, at least 1500 VP SO, daily/all time VP streak, results of voting on askSC answers, as well as answering the questions, responses to Forum posts, and the extra activities - Eager Zebra Games, auctions...

When they see your badges, they will want to know how you got them. This is when you can really shine in their minds be explaining - based on questions asked - what you did to attain them, and what you continue to do to keep them. This is also the time to explain the value of doing these things, the reasons that keep you coming back every day!

Your badges will pique their curiosity, and hopefully prompt them to go do some more reading, learning, applying.

You can demonstrate your leadership qualities by maintaining regular - but not overwhelming - contact with them, providing helpful tips and suggestions each time. Also make sure they know they are welcome to contact you directly by whatever is your preferred method... chat, skype, email, etc.

Just do what you have been doing, or are learning to do, and tell your team regularly how you are doing it, and help them to duplicate your actions.

You become a good listener while online by learning to read between the lines... is the tone serious? is it facetious? are they distressed? are they basically yelling in frustration? do they ask you the same things over and over, just worded differently (usually indicative of having NOT read enough yet)? are the questions giving any indication the person has been doing some reading, but having trouble understanding?

There are subtle giveaways to mood and intention in the written word, even if the writer is not a good speller or is often grammatically incorrect. And sometimes things tend to get lost when using translators.

It will take a bit of time to get the hang of "listening" to the written words, but you will quickly pick up on the things I'm referring to, and will be able to reply appropriately.

Difficult as it may be at times, ALWAYS maintain your "cool", do not use condescending tones with them, or indicate frustration. Patience IS a virtue, they say, although I think sometimes something we have to work pretty hard to maintain. And a kind response full of helpful thoughts and information will usually help people get over a bad attitude (if they are having a bad day) and realize they may have been a little out of line.

Answer inquiries, even if it seems silly to you, with the best information you can give. Something in the way you word your reply might just click on a lightbulb for them, and voila!, you have a happy, productive team member!!

I suggest they start on home page with Start, Basics and Launchpad buttons. I suggest to them to do a few Lessons/day, being sure to get their 15 VPs as they go.

I explain the importance of clearing red tabs daily; rating always the 10 AskSC answers for the AVP, and the extra 20 answers for another Daily Grand entry (explaining also the types of prizes). I also recommend they read all the posts/replies in the Forum, looking at Forum and AskSC as learning/explaining sites. And to click the blue button on Forum for another DG entry.

Then I let them know my email, ask them to contact me anytime if they have difficulties or questions.

I figure this information will get them on their way to learning, and SFI's training is presented better than I can do!:) In subsequent team mails, I also point out the training materials contained within the black bar across home page.

I try always to post positive, upbeat, encouraging mail to them, suggesting other activities that might help them as well, like playing the games in EagerZebra. Everyone needs some fun now and then!!

That's MY start-out plan, you can adjust yours to suit your ways as you go and learn:)

Being an affiliate can change your life by giving you a sense of independence (YOU are the boss!), and a residual income that can relieve the stress of financial difficulties:))

When the responsibility for a business lies with you, it can spur you to maintain it to the best of your ability so the other members of your business (PSAs & CSAs, PRMs, in this case) can see the benefits to also striving to maintain their businesses as well, so as not to disappoint their members.

The success of everyone at SFI is closely interrelated... If one part (you) fails, many others may also, because they have lost you, their leader.

Responsibility breeds inner strength, determination, and the needed drive to learn all you can, and apply it to your business EVERY DAY, for your success, and that of your uplines and downlines as well.

When you start TripleClicks home, click on products across the top. Within products, go down to SFI, click it.

There you will find books, Booster Club, ebooks, ECAs, and TripleClicks. Explore these, see if anything appeals to you.

Units of S-Builder Coop and PSAs to Go are also available. PSAs come rather quickly, and in a bunch. This would be helpful when first starting. S-Builder will take approximately 6 weeks to start coming to you, normally one, maybe two, at a time. This gives you plenty of time for the initial contacts with them, and time to point them towards starting training. Also gives time to explain to them about Fast Tracker.

The bid and spin feature of auctions is also a nice way to acquire PSAs (as well as auctions for them!), an extra bonus for bidding. Each 10 bids gains 1 spin, each spin can give you 10, 20, 40, 50% of a PSA. It takes time and bidding to acquire a PSA, but you are bidding anyway, so even if you lose auctions, you still can gain part of a new PSA.

And, of course, TCredits... buy items to advance your business or to use at home so you can successfully advertise them based on your experience with it, bid auctions, play games. TCredits packs of 125 will automatically give you 1500SVP and EA status so all your addditional efforts go into your rank maintenance. This item for your SO runs $36.25USD. Not a bad price for something that has so much potential to help build your business, yes?!!:))...

I would suggest using "I can help"-type ecards to contact your new affiliates after they have had a day or so to visit your Leadership page, and have received some welcoming/information emails from SFI. This should give them enough time to have read Start and Basics, and have some Launchpads read.

Also, use stream posts to pass bits of information to all your downline all 3 times available per week for AVPs. As you go along, sometimes effective to send PSA mailer, and CSA stream post with a condensed version of the PSA mail.

I think no more than twice a week for first 2-3 weeks, then weekly mailer after that, and the stream posts.

When you have questions from your downlines, always answer as promptly as possible, and as often as necessary if they are having problems.

Keep track of your movers, and send encouraging e-cards as needed.

This is done for several reasons, beginning with the space required to "store" ALL of the information of VPs that we have all earned!!

It also creates a more level (fair) playing field for us all. Every one of us must requalify as EA, EA2, all the way up to whichever rank we attained last month. This keeps us all involved with OUR business, plus SFI and TripleClicks. If we did not, we would not be up to date on all the newest happenings, changes, improvements, etc.

When everyone's monthly VPs start over at zero, everyone has an equal opportunity to score well during the month, building their business as they go, which keeps all of us in business:))...
