Your personal SFI website should be most valuable in 2 ways.

1. Your downline and possibly your upline should be able to see the helpful and valuable information you have written, especially if it includes your personal experiences with SFI. This could be enough to encourage those you are sponsoring or co-sponsoring to put in the time and effort necessary for them to progress within the SFI structure. By the progress of your downline you are going to be earning VersaPoints and progressing through their actions. Therefore this is a very valuable asset for you.

2. You will also want to recruit personally sponsored affiliates, TripleClicks members and ECA's with your website. This can easily be done by including some of the approved text ads in with your text, as well as putting banners on your pages. The type and size of banners you will use will be governed by the type of website you are using. If it is a blog then banners in your sidebar can be entered once to appear on all pages.

Why are you not good at approaching people face to face? Is it because you are shy, or are you nervous?

My tips to overcome the problem of not being good at approaching people face to face would be:

1. Make sure you know your business (or anything you are promoting)

2. Practice what you are going to say in front of a mirror.

3. Record yourself when you are getting better. (this can be audio or video).

3. Practice on friends and family.

4. Accept the fact that you are going to get many rejections.

A lot of people cannot face the rejections that are going to happen, and they often blame themselves, or what they are saying, for getting those rejections. That is why the practice is so important.

You must go out to face your prospects with a positive mindset. You know what you are saying, you believe in the product or business, and you are exited about the business.

If you get negative comments, try to make a positive from them, but know you are going to meet people that do not believe in your business the way that you do.

IF you get a question you do not know the answer to, then be truthful and say "I can't answer that but I will speak to someone who can." Get their telephone number. Find the answer and let them know what the answer is.

Show people you can be relied on as a team leader or confidante. You are offering to help those prospects go forward with their business, so make sure they realize that.

After a few meetings, it will become more natural and you will become more confidant. You may even ask yourself why you haven't been doing it before.

The first question I would pose is why do you want to restrict yourself to either one of these options?

The question would really depend on how much time you have for marketing your business and which you find more effective.

I like to do both, but time management stops me from doing local and more personal promotions on a regular basis. So personally I rely on the internet marketing, probably a lot more than I should.

As this is a global business, and I have the opportunity of using the internet as my marketing vehicle, I do rely on it very heavily.

There are so many marketing opportunities on the internet it is sometimes hard to find a new audience, but, an audience that has already viewed the product may come back and view it again. Rarely do people sign up the first time they see something, that is if they are going to become active.

So my conclusion is both types of marketing are good and both should be used to ensure the growth of your business

With all the modern facilities available for translating into other languages why should you not try to recruit non English speakers.

Do you really want to restrict your advertising to English speaking countries only? I am sure I don't want to do that.

With an internet business the world is your oyster. Some of your best affiliates could well turn out to be non English speakers. Is there something inferior about them just because they can't speak English or is it the fear of having to translate emails you receive in a foreign language that causes you to ask this question?

If your ads go out in English and someone has bothered to translate it to their own language and then replied by signing up, then do they not deserve your attention?

You are in a world wide business so make the most of it and accept with gratitude any affiliate irrespective of race, religion or the language they speak.

As your genealogy gives you so much information you need to decide what of that information is helpful for you or what you are planning. All of the information available in your genealogy is both useful and important, but if you are trying to find specific information then you need to know how to read the pages and set the filters that will help you get the information you need.

I have seen people saying they only work with their active affiliates, well this is one of the places you can filter the active affiliates. Perhaps you want to find out which affiliates are using the S Builder co-op or perhaps you want to check who you have awarded gift certificates to.

The genealogy is an absolute mine of information giving you all the details about your affiliates and numerous filters to pick just the ones you are interested in for a particular project.

You should be using your genealogy on a regular basis to keep a check on what is happening to your affiliates.

I use it as much to keep in touch with inactive affiliates as I do the active ones. Inactive affiliates are much less likely to become active if they are not getting regular updates from their sponsors than if they are getting reminders about something called SFI that they joined but never did anything with.

So my top trick is to learn all about your genealogy pages and learn all you can do with it to help you to help your affiliates to become more successful by becoming more active.

Your daily actions are just a small part of what you should be doing to build a thriving SFI business. You should be advertising all of your gateway links in different places.

If you can, build up your TripleClicks members as well as your full SFI members. These TripleClicks members give you the opportunity to get an income from all they spend in TC. If they are not SFI members you will also get the VP attached to these sales.

Keep reading. There is the forum, askSC and of course all the other training available to you that will help you to improve your position within SFI.

This is your business so it is up to you to make as much as you possibly can with it.

You also need to keep in touch with your downline at least once a week. Let them know what you are doing to improve your income so they can copy you and improve their own income, which of course will improve your income even more.

Duplication is the name of the game and you need to be promoting this with your affiliates.

The first thing we need to remember is that this item is only available for the first 10 days of the affiliates SFI membership.

I believe you should promote the pack in the first email you send out. If you see the affiliate is active on the first day then I certainly remind them about the NMP on the second day and in subsequent emails. On the 9th and 10th day I remind them they have little time to take advantage of this bargain and reiterate the value of the pack to them.

I don't give them links to look at the product, but I list the items and advantages of the product. I do then give them the link to enable them to purchase the product.

I don't think in the early stages you should even be thinking of which is better to do. You should be doing both as both are needed for a successful business building opportunity!

As to whether one is better than the other, well that will depend partly on your own needs or requirements.

We all need SFI affiliates to build up our business. As our business depends on duplication we need to build a team that we can teach the principle of duplication to.

We may also need an income while we are building a team and that is where the TripleClicks members come into play. We build our TripleClicks members in the hope they will play games, use the auctions or purchase goods. We do this because all these options get us commission value and in some cases they also get us the VersaPoints associated with the products they are buying.

To clarify this a TripleClicks member, (who is not also a member or SFI), that buys a product that has a VP value has no use for the VPs so they are passed to the sponsor of that member.

Which is best? That depends on whether you are team building or you need to try and get some extra cash!

The first thing they should do every day is log in and do their daily tabs including entering the Daily Grand.
