Today, I am setting up my own ECA store. I am acquiring products to sell online through TripleClicks, and I am learning how to sell to where it benefits me, AND the customer.

I am also buying or bidding on TC Gift Cards so I can start recruiting PRMs. I haven't used them yet, but they seem like an amazing tool.

I am doing small paid advertisements in my city, and I am going to use hit tracking provided by SFI to see which ones work. Then later on, whichever was the most successful, I will invest more money in.

Lastly, I am reading up on how to be a great sponsor, so once I begin gaining more PSA that are active, I can be a great leader to them, so they, and in turn I, will be successful.

I have not actually started to promote TC to prospective ECAs.... yet. But your question got me thinking - why aren't I? A few quality ECAs could mean lifetime commissions for me of a substantial amoumt.

So, I thought of what I should be doing. Here's what I would do:

- Hit up small, local business that don't yet have an online presence, flea market sellers, local artists, and churches or other organizations that sell merchandise to raise funds.

- Dress professionally, and meet with the business owner in person and explain what TripleClicks is, and how it works, and howner much TripleClicks takes from each sale.

- I would try and know something about what they sell before I speak to them. Take that product or products and search for them on TC. I would look to see what type of competition they would have, if any, on TC, and explain that to them and what the benefits would be for their merchandise at their price to be on TripleClicks.

- I would ask a rough estimate of the sales they make now, and then ask them to think what it wouldoes be like to go from selling in one city to selling worldwide. What kind of potential would they have?


After these steps, I think that just about anybody would want to sign up to TC as an ECA.

The subject line needs to catch their attention. Don't make outlandish claims, but don't be boring and try not to reuse the same old typical byline.

I try to keep the message simple and to the point, and I make sure to only cover one topic per email. I also only provide them with information that directly relates to what they are interested in: growing an online busineas to make money!

If you are constantly filling your PSA/CSAS mailboxes with messages everyday with loads of information it can become overwhelming, and even annoying. Some people like a constant presence, while others (like myself) don't fully read half the message sent if it doesn't seem to immediately pertain to me.
