When I joined SFI last summer of 2014, I became a Fast Track Member in no time flat. (The VP for doing so sure didn't hurt either.) I got my $36.25USD Tcredits 125 Pack Standing Order and my TC 1500 VP SO badge...
Anyway, when Fast-Track 2.0 program came alive, I became a Gold Fast-Track Member due to my 1,500 VP SO. (And I received a new, shiny badge.)
What does being a Gold Fast-Track Member mean to me? I like looking at the gold jets on my Scoreboard tab. ( I'm joking...sort of.) I love looking at my earned VP more now; I know I am getting 10% bonus shares in the TripleClicks Executive Pool.
I live on a budget, I know the value of a dollar and every bit helps. (You might pay for a cup of coffee what I pay for 3 small loaves of good bread...or 2 and a chocolate bar!)
When I see "Gold Fast-Track", I feel honoured to have the highest badge and determination that I let nothing stand in my way when I'm on a mission. This month I requalified for Bronze Team Leader then, before I knew it, I qualified as a Silver Team Leader. All I had spent was the $36.25USD for my Gold Fast-Track SO; the rest I mostly earned or won as little was awarded. It was what I did with my Tcredits from the SO that got me started.
When I see or think of my Gold Fast-Track Member status, I know how hard I fight to keep it and my other SFI business money in the budget every month. January was tough at the start - the holidays and I wasn't getting a disability cheque for another 4 weeks. (The cheques were out 2 weeks early in December, therefore, 6 weeks between cheques.)
I reduced my SO of wanted and unwanted items, kept just one. I wasn't giving that one up. If nothing else, I would be an EA2. Here I am, a STL.
Yes, it is very important to be a Fast-Track Member within the first 10 days of joining SFI. The full benefits are at this link:

The 10% bonus shares are based on your earned VP, monthly, and they add up. Well, I think they do. They buy extra good chocolate if you get enough. :-)
