What is a good letter that I can send to potential affiliates who desire to know more about SFI?

This is a great question as the answers from affiliates have been great in helping all of us to be effective communicators when introducing SFI to people who are interested in this organization.
The first part of this question, for me, is consideration of the letter. A "letter" comes in different forms - electronic, paper, card, post-card and even on business cards. So for me, I consider the type of letter that is a fit for the individual that I am communicating to.
Once the "format" of letter is decided then content (what do I say) comes next. I often approach my comments about SFI as a means of building not only my personal world but also the world in which my family and friends will feel fulfilled. I also share how SFI has helped me to fulfil my dreams for not only self but for those I care about. I then proceed to share some other successes from affiliates (testimonials) about what SFI has done for them.
In my humble opinion, it is important to assist future members of SFI - either as an affiliate or a TripleClicks member to understand how there is personal benefit so the more real that the SFI experience can become the more likely you will have someone join SFI.
Your wording about "wanting to know more about SFI" is the key to any letter that is sent out to potential affiliates as "knowing" means to not only answering "WHAT" SFI is, not only "HOW" SFI helps people achieve their dreams but also needs "WHY" the individual should join SFI.

The secret is YOU!
It is the plan that you prepare and follow that YOU will earn an income with SFI.
The elements to success is to remind yourself your reason for joining SFI and how you can use SFI to help others achieve their dreams too.
SFI is a way to earn an income but your first step is to consider how SFI can help others - is it through the sales of products that the TripleClicks store has to offer; is it through the programs that SFI has to offer to individuals such as the affiliate program or is it through the use of the ECA program that will earn you an income.
The way to earn an income is to prepare yourself to be your best so that when an opportunity arises - YOU are prepared.

What's best to sell at TripleClicks? Cheap things or more expensive/more valuable items?

This is a hard question to answer as this is really dependent on individual preferences.
For my purchases (personal, professional, and down-line support) - I don't consider the monetary value but consider the long term value that a product will have.
An example of long term value is finding a TripleClicks product that will fulfill a need for now but create a long term benefit. I have purchased items that are expensive and have purchased items that are inexpensive but the benefits have been priceless. IAHBE has offered so much insight to business practice and has an added benefit of free business tools as well as provides leadership benefits too...this is what I mean by being priceless.
Products that sell are the products that align to the needs of the customer so a variety would be the best policy. Variety meet the diverse needs of the customers that SFI TripleClicks serves no matter the price of the product.

What is the best way to help people that want to get involved with SFI who do not have time to put into it but have money to invest?

Best way to help people who want to be part of SFI but do not have the time but the money to invest is to offer what services you can offer.
You may want to offer your service by helping them build their down line or build up their blog with SFI or even to help them develop themselves into an ECA.
There are many roles that one can have with SFI.
It is important to understand what he or she is wanting to get as a result of investing their funds into SFI. When this goal is clear then assist with giving your time to build their system to achieve what he or she wants to achieve.
You may also assist by connecting he or she with other affiliates who have a specialty skill that can assist with growing their investment in the company such as development of down-line numbers, selling a product that he or she has or even to further develop their web presence with a web-site or promotions thorugh the use of Social Media.

How to go about setting up local meetings or seminars to recruit PSAs and PRMs?

Provision of training will need to begin with planning in advance. The planning stage will have you establish the following:
Location - where will these sessions be held, what size of space is required, how accessible is the location for people using public transit or own vehicle to get there
Place - you may want to do in people homes so those invited are by the host, or make arrangements with a local coffee shop to make arrangements for sessions to be held
Time: what time will sessions begin and end
Day of the week - setting one day a week for training sessions is much easer to have participants spread the word about your workshops - if you do not book a regular day of the week, it can be bard to have attendees track when he or she is to come for a second session/follow-up to learn more about SFI as a business option
Advertisement - will news about sessions being held be done via Social Media, local news paper advertisements, direct mail campaigns, personal delivery of flyers to people that you meet or use of bulletin boards available in public places even at post-secondary institutions

What would be a good strategy for attracting senior citizens to SFI?

Great question...
Seniors will benefit from joining the SFI team as anyone else. It will be important to custom your advertising to what appeals to seniors. What is advertised to a young working professional may not necessarily appeal to what a senior would be looking for when wanting to purchase items on line or to become an affiliate.
It would be a great start to extend yourself to ask seniors directly what he or she is hoping to achieve by having a relationship with an on-line shopping experience, what products are they looking for and what they see as a possible benefit to their family including grandchildren.
It is important to listen to your prospective buyers or even prospective down-line affiliate members who may be of senior age. This will give you the information that you require to create a marketing program that will be directed to their needs.

You are showing leadership skills through this question you posted. Leadership is modeling on-going learning and use what you learn and share with others.
Attitude of openness is a great attribute of a leader. Remember the great leaders in the past - many did not have great written skills but had other skills such as a positive attitude, collaboration, believed in others and cheered others on to achieve their goals.
Sponsor work is based on being present for others and being there to help others. Your written skills will improve so please do not shy away but be sure to show others that you too are growing in SFI so as to assure others that SFI is not for the elitest but is a universal program for anyone with the heart value of team work, respect for diversity and creativity.
Write what you can but be sure to write about topics you know well about as then your writing will be confident. If you write of things that you don't know about - you're right that people may not understand.
Being a great sponsor does not mean being a great author. A great sponsor is someone who knows what he or she can do and relies on others, team work, to achieve success.

How do I attract big traffic to my SFI website?

Check out what fellow affiliates are doing to attract traffic to their SFI websites. You will see a variety of strategies being used and not all may be a fit for what your plan is for SFI.
Considering my statement above, it is important that some time be taken to review what kind of traffic is being sought for? Is the traffic to be used for converting interest into active affiliation, increase sales at TripleClicks, or have more web presence for future promotions.
Ideas for increased traffic that have been shared through our SFI training are tested and true so look back at your Launch Pad sessions to see what ideas may fit with your current month's campaign.
Check with web search engines to see where you can post your URL so that traffic can begin to flow through free advertising. Ask fellow on-line businesses to see if a blog would have space to include a banner or link to your website in exchange for a service you can offer or pay a small fee for their blog space. Flyers can be posted on public notice boards about your SFI website and people can "pull a tab" to keep the URL and check it out later. May even wish to use QR code to promote your website. My favorite approach - leverage the skills of other affiliates to help promote by purchasing advertising packages offered through TripleClicks. One that seems to be working for many is the use of Social Media or even using a personal blog to connect with readers to develop a consented to mail out list for email updates.
The comments above are just a few ideas...there are more and so do not be afraid to be creative with your means to share your website with others.
The best way to get your website traffic flowing high is to use more than 1 approach to reach people everywhere.

Amazing - is right but remember that inorder for others to understand the opportunities that exist, it is best to focus efforts with your communication to appeal to their emotion. Emotion is the driver for each human - this is what causes us to choose or not choose, emotion is the foundation for values that each person strives to live through.
Appealing to emotion is done by making sure that your approach is not about the facts - facts are nice - earning money, networking, part owner of an on-line store et al. Appeal to the emotion of each down line member or prospect by sharing stories.
Story telling has been the strongest method of communication that is known to human kind. Stories about struggle with an outcome of success and happiness are always motivators and a source of encouragement. Stories are to be from the 'real' and not the 'wish'. Stories about SFI from other affiliates are 'real' do not try to sell SFI to others with 'fairy tales' as these will not sustain a new affiliate but only cause them to be a dreamer and not be a doer.
Start with your 'Story" - why did you start with SFI what do you personally see as a benefit for you, your family and for those that you care for.
Use "Story" as a way to connect with others so as to share your knowledge (truth) about SFI and what it has done for you and what you have molded it into to help you achieve your #1 Goal.
Story telling is the most social-emotional activity we do as humans and if you find it hard to do this then practice...opportunities (fate) favors those who practice for the moment therefore you'll always bring on more onto your team and share more stories as you work along side with eachother.

What are some good ways to effectively use SFI X-Cards?

SFI X Cards can be distributed in many ways. I have found the following strategies to work so please feel free to read and either use or not use - there is no one specific way to effectively use SFI- X cards but only ways that you feel confident in using in your own business.
Strategies:
ECA recruitment info package - include an SFI-X card with your introduction package for ECA's to join SFI and share with them how other affiliates can assist with spreading the word about their products on the TripleClicks store with the marketing products available to all affiliates including the X-Cards.
Coffee Shops - many coffee shops will have a designated spot to let local businesses leave business cards in a stack to be picked up by coffee shop patrons. This is great exposure not only to the patrons of the coffee shop but also for the coffee shop itself as the management can then consider using TripleClicks as a way to promote their product line such as coffee gift cards, coffee mugs, and coffee products.
Library Books - I have returned library books from the business section with an X-card left in it exposed as a book mark. I will purposefully book mark a spot for the next reader of the book a chapter that I personally found interesting and useful. The X-card then will find a new owner and can become a simple recruitment tool.
Poster Boards - Grocery stores will often promote business information on a local community board accessed by all who go grocery shopping. Ask for permission to post several cards at the grocery store that you frequent and see them disappear. When the cards are gone simply refill by posting another stack (5 - 10). Check every week.
Restaurants - when leaving after eating a meal or having a drink leave a card behind with your dirty dishes so that the waiter or waitress can pick up the card or leave a card in the napkin holder for the next patron to see and take for self.
Mail going out - this strategy is from a Launch Pad lesson - just place a card in mail that you are sending out such as a payment for a bill. I send from work a minimum of 15 mailed items each week so that means I minimally have 60 opportunities to share the X-card.
The cards are meant for distribution and the only way this will happen is by exposing the card by sharing with the public.
