The pool is one additional perk that SFI offers to all affiliates. The pool is simply a way to share benefits of activity during the month. This has ially means that as I work my SFI business at the same time as other affiliates do our efforts in sales will then be pooled and shared with all. This is shared in detail in a Launch Pad lesson as well as other articles about the TC Executive Pool.
As an example, we all work to bake a pie so we all can get a piece, the more activity we do the bigger toe pie therefore everyone will enjoy a larger piece from the pie. The smaller the pie, the smaller the piece we each receive. No matter the size of the whole pie, we are guaranteed to get a piece of the pie...in my perspective, larger pie means larger pieces so why not GO BIG to reap bigger benefits.

How can I help a PSA become a Team Leader when he or she does not have a credit card?

Team Leader status is not about the achievement with sales or marketing. Team Leader status is about relationships.
When you read the profile of fellow Team Leaders such as BTL, STL, or even PTL - they all have one thing in common. They all are focused on sharing SFI as gift to others.
To achieve Team Leadership status without a credit card is not impossible - this means that the focus of the affiliate will be about people and connecting with people and how SFI may benefit or be of use to others. The following will be of benefit to expand the connections network:
ECA program recruitment
Affiliate down line recruitment - CSA's and PSA's
Product Matching to People
Music Program - have local muscial artists join
The above programs that SFI has to offer does not require that the affiliate have their own credit card. These programs are reliant on the affiliates Social Skill sets.
Mingle more to achieve more!

I feel my welcome message to PSAa is stale. How can I freshen it up? Sample welcome letters appreciated.

A way that find helpful to keep material fresh for Welcome messages is to keep a journal that I write in every day which is used to write quotes, thoughts, and even paraphrased statements from books I read, e-newsletters I subscribe to, and business meetings/work-shops I attend.
I have found this journal writing to be helpful as I am focused on listening for and reading for tips that I can share with new PSA's about the SFI benefits he or she can achieve, meanwhile, improving how I may express self to PSA's in Welcome letters because journal writing is a great way to practice writing.
SFI offers great samples for team leaders to use for preparing communication for down-line team members.
Fellow affiliates can be asked directly for samples and even review of their Team Leadership Blog entries can have excellent samples of writing that may be used. Be sure to ask for permission to use their written work to respect the source of the "thoughts" written down.
Create a writing team where you can share your written paragraphs, blog entries and/or Welcome letters with eachother to proof read eachother's literary works.
Leaders are readers and writers are proof-readers. Excellent writing comes from reading good literary samples of what you want to write and proofing another's work improves your skill to know what good-exceptional letter writing looks like.
I also read several Forum posts for fresh ideas and sample writing paragraphs for current, fresh material to put into Welcome letters.

How do you create a good marketing plan for yourself that will lead to success in SFI?

What I have done is review marketing plans that have been shared by my up-line team members and duplicate what I know I can because of the skills I have.
I have also asked fellow affiliates to share strategies that have worked for them and incorporated into my daily, weekly, and monthly marketing plans.
I also have googled other companies that I know who have made their marketing efforts public, reviewed what they actively do and incorporate what I reasonably can do in my marketing plan.
The most important part of having a marketing plan is to start with your "end result first". This means when planning and preparing write at thetop or first line what you want to see at the end of the marketing campaign and then work backwards to fill in the plan with all the parts, strategies, other people you enlist to help you, and when all the parts will have a role or will be used to achieve your end goal - purpose to your marketing.

What would you say to a PSA who states that their goal is to find an online job involving filling out forms and typing?

What a great question!
My first response - without thinking, was "that is not what SFI is about".
But now after having a little time to consider an answer...
First, it would be most helpful to inquire what the PSA is meaning about filling in on-line forms and typing. It is important to understand how he or she perceives what this means to them. Connect with the PSA so a conversation may be held about this very topic.
Once you have a better understanding what this means to the PSA, take time to discuss how SFI is different than the structure that he or she is discussing and find out if their understanding about SFI is the same.
This is a great opportunity to discuss the various ways that SFI may be used to generate an on-going income based on efforts done today. There are on-line opportunities which profess to paypeople to fillout on-line forms and pay for their efforts to type but realistically this style of income earning is reliant on that PSA and not a team. SFI's principle in earning an income is that it is generated by collaborating with others by serving their needs. Collaboration means that an income will be continuous based on everyone's efforts and not just the time I give to the business.
We all can fill in forms and type but when you consider the exponential power that SFI uses to generate income for not only 1 affiliate but all through the incremental efforts that each of us do daily - I see this as being more powerful than just my time filling in forms and typing - if I work alone then my income reflects what I only do. When I work amongst a team - we all benefit from our joint efforts therefore earning potential has just increased proportionately to how many are working along side with me and I work with them.
We can not force PSA's or CSA's to work with the SFI model but it is our responsibility to be able to discuss them everyone how SFI works and how it will benefit him or her in the immediate and long term.

An affiliate logs in after a long period of inactivity. Should I acknowledge this? And if so, what should I say?

I think this is something that you will need to consider - acknowledge or not acknowledge when a down line member logs in after a period of inactivity.
Personally, I do follow up with affiliates to see what kind of assistance is required as it is good to understand what is needed in order for the program to be a success.
Definitely do a follow up. Just do a quick check in and then wait for a response. If your assistance is required, you will hear back.
What yardstick should I use to give an unbiased and appropriate rating of my Sponsor each month?

Excellent question to ask.
It may be helpful to consider the answer by using another question to guide your rating response:
How am I best served?
The answer to this question then can be used to rate the efforts of your up-line team, as well as, be used in the comments section each month when you rate.
Some comments that I have listed in response to "How am I best served?" is as follows:
Timeliness responses to questions I submit about SFI related needs I have,
TeamMail topics are current and provide me the opportunity to be motivated, learn new strategies or useful tips to use in my business,
Connects with me when I do not expect to simply recognize success achieved or a simple check in on how things are going.
I encourage you to take a few minutes to answer the question to list what you need from your up-line team then use your list (even if only 1 thing) to help you rate.
Everyone will need something different so it is helpful to identify your needs first then compare your needs to what you receive in return - this will be your "yard-stick" for rating.

How can I use the Country/Region sub-forums at the Forum to help my team members whose English is not their primary language?

Seek out fellow affiliates who speak their language and who may live in their neighbourhoods so that there can be a colleague connection with others.
Speaking and writing the same language is a great way to promote belonging and a sense of value in your down line team members. The more effort you put into connecting them with others through you will encourage them to move onward and upward with their SFI business.
Also take the time to find forums that you found helpful and use a translator to change the language from English text to a language that he or she will understand. Going the extra mile to seek out helpful forum posts on their behalf will be appreciated and even one more step to translate the posts into their native tongue will show that you value efforts of all team members.
Everyone Belongs!

How important is it to read the latest SFI news...and how does this apply to building your business?

Reading the latest news helps to keep each affiliate aware of what is going on in SFI. SFI undergoes many updates and improvements that as an affiliate (co-owner) it makes sense to keep up with the updates so as to be well versed in your own business.
Being able to speak to the famous question to prospects, "what is SFI" - is how we effectively promote and market our own business. Reading the up-dates keeps all informed and well versed that responses to the questions about SFI may be given confidently and articulated clearly to others. Being clear, concise and confident will demonstrate to prospects that you as an affiliate are a true believer in SFI and are truly wanting to have others join to benefit too.

How can we reassure our downline to continue their activity with SFI after the recent cyber-attack?

Excellent question!
The best way to re-assure anyone is to be present and to make the first effort to connect with your team members to discuss and answer their questions regarding any concerns.
Reassurance is present when there is a person who is in the lead making an example to follow...so take on the challenge to reassure yourself and you will see others use you as their mentor and become assured as well.
Keep on taking the lead and the rest will surely follow.
