When you receive inactive CSAs, chances are that you will first need to change your attitude from "drat, I got a bunch of losers" to "I wonder how many are just needing a great co-sponsor?"

An inactive CSA is an affiliate whose sponsor has not been able to get him started in SFI. It may be the sponsor's inactivity, but it may be several other reasons, also.
1) There are people who's income goals can be met with what they get from PTC and they have no intention of becoming an active affiliate with us. They do not read or respond to their sponsor's welcome letters or weekly emails.
2) There are the tire kickers who want to take a look at SFI but make their decision against doing it before they have examined the opportunity enough to really know how it works. These people have already shown that they are lacking patience and persistence and belief. If they don't want to believe that this is a legitimate opportunity for them, they never will see it. But they may read your emails.
3) There are those not in the habit of reading and get scared off when they open the To Do List. Or they don't even get that far. These people should receive short easy notes telling them how to begin and reassuring them that you will help guide them and and answer all of their questions.

The best way to handle these inactive CSAs is to treat them all alike since you can't tell which group they are in until you get to know them, which is unlikely as long as they are inactive. When you have written enough short, easy to read, friendly, helpful emails, you will begin to see a few approaching you for help and the faith to believe that this is the real thing.

One thing that you need to remember: no matter how inactive the CSA's sponsor seems, the sponsor and his upline have money and time invested in this CSA and he is still in their team. No matter what, he is not your PSA and not fully in your team. You have been assigned to encourage him and guide him through the getting started process. You are not his sponsor. You are just filling in for his sponsor during a time of the sponsor's weakness.

There are many good methods for distributing Gift Cards. SFI has listed many ways in the materials on Gift Cards. Some methods are much better than others. For example, if you give a stack of cards to a restaurant owner and ask that he give them out to good customers, you have no control over who gets your card nor do you have any contact information about that person. It's probably a dead end.

But if you know the person or have contact information about the person, you can do a FOLLOW-UP contact before and/or after he redeems the Gift Card. Most sales take more than one contact and this surely is a sale. Your follow-up can be in person, by phone, email, or letter depending on what information you have.

People like free things, but they are also leery of the gimmicks. You must assure them that this is a real business and that they might benefit from looking at the web-site. No strings attached. After you see that the card has been redeemed you can ask what he thinks of the site and if he has any questions. You can ask him how he might most benefit from it and maybe even go so far as to mention the further advantage of joining SFI.

And leave your contact information with him in case he later wants more information.

A born leader is someone whom the people around him or her look to for guidance. They will follow a leader. The leader must have that draw that assures people that he knows what he is doing. In a room full of people it is easy to pick out the leaders.

On the computer we have an easier job to convince our downlines that we are leaders. They can't see our lack of physical fitness and we can overcome our lack of mental agility. We don't have to look them in the eye. But in order to do that, we must ourselves be followers and duplicate what our own active Team Leaders are doing, and at the same time be guiding our own followers to duplicate us.

By studying the ToDo List and other training materials, joining in on Forum discussions, and participating with others in the ASK SC, we equip ourselves to have the knowledge for being an SFI Team Leader.

Do not be a micro-manager who drives his team into action, but like a gentle, but firm shepherd who leads his team, nudging them back on the path to success when they go astray.

First we must ask what the benefits are of being a SFI affiliate and then how we make sure that we do benefit from them. I can quickly think of three.
A] Money & Success
B] Low Cost of Business
C] Training & Tools
D] Leveraged time & Synergy

MONEY AND SUCCESS
The first thought on our minds is always the money. How much can we make? Is it possible for me to make that kind of money? How? Is it a scam? Or illegal? What is success? Can you have success without having the money?

SFI is structured that whatever your goal is in success or the money aspect, you can reach it, if you do not quit, if you do the work required, if you keep a positive mental attitude, if you have definite goals.

You are making money,but want more? Just add another 5 good workers to your team, leading them where they need to go. Don't just say "I'm not making enough money," and quit. In theory, there is no maximum amount of money we can make with SFI. We want more, we do more.

LOW COST OF BUSINESS
It is FREE to sign-up for SFI, and the training is FREE and the tools are FREE. But all businesses have a cost, in time or money. If you try to run your business with no financial input at all, you are paying a great cost in time:your hours, and the months it will take to build your business. So spend some money. Buy business and marketing tools and aids, pay for shipping the items you usually buy at the local store and buy them from TripleClicks. Pay for advertising. This will all work to bring you a better share of the Executive Pool, while you are adding to it, you are also taking a bigger share.

TRAINING AND TOOLS
SFI gives us a complete course in internet marketing, probably equal to several courses at the university level. It's all free and the information is there for us to review at all times. And we have free-web sites, gateways, dey code tracking, mailers, and a big load of marketing aids. They can sit there while we ignore them, or we can use them. There is enough reading material to lasst us months if we read everyday. There are enough marketing aids to satisfy our creative needs. We have a help desk that will answer our questions and fix our problems. Everything but Mom's kiss to make it better.

LEVERAGED TIME AND SYNERGY
As we get the active members of our teams focused on doing the same times as we do, our time is multiplied. As we grow our co-ops, adding our advertising dollars to the same pot, we are able to buy bigger ads. This is known as synergy: the sum of all parts adds up to a bigger total strength than the total of all the parts separately.

With time leveraging we no longer have to work 40 hours a week, we just work 4 hours when 9 team members doing 4 hours each themselves. Or if everyone works ten hours, then you plus 9 downline members work a total of 400 hours.

But these hours must be managed. 400 hours of only doing the Daily's and To Do List actions will not put money into the Executive Pool. FREE vp dilutes the cash value of each share in the Executive Pool. There must be sales and purchases each month in order for the value of each share to grow in monetary value. Sales are made when affiliates spend time submitting ads for TripleClicks products.


If we do not use these helps, we will not benefit from them. We only reap full advantage when we use them to the fullest extent possible.

Being a super star at SFI entails being diligent to the tasks that you have chosen to excel in. Be helpful, friendly, and stick tightly to integrity.Become an expert at what you have set your cap for.

Since you did not define what type of "super star" you are thinking of and the only boundry is that it must be in SFI, I am assuming that we can take our own pick of the many ways to become a super star in SFI.

1--By looking at the various LeaderBoards, you can take your pick between the official, o record titles of: Top vp in Country, world, or your class. You can be top sponsor, top enroller, and top distributor. Also Power rankings.

2--Harder to document, but possible is the top ECA stores and ASK SC Authors..

3--You can also be a FastTracker. Or just the most friendly, helpful,problem solving affiliate at the Forum or at ASK SC.

4--and your performance can shine at the Forum. If you are helpful, curteous, honest, a peacemaker, good with words, wise, etc then you will have many people looking for your next post and reading all that you write.

Because we do no discuss money for ethical and legal reasons, we never really know who the real business superstars are. Because of the number of affiliates who quit too early, I think those affiliates who are still active at the end of the first year, and who have made it to the top of the class at the end of the year, are true superstars but at the beginning of their journey with SFI.

The very easiest way to qualify for Team Leader every month is to put in a standing order for 2000 VP including in it a pack of 30 Gift Cards and the biggest pack of TCredits that you can afford. And be sure to do all of your Action chores. This will give you 2000 sales vp, and about 500 action vp. The other 500+ vp can be made up by handing out Gift cards at 10 action vp per card up to 30 cards per month. And by playing the auction for up to 500 action vp.

That should cover it, but if you are short there, then if you buy one different tangible object each month, you have another 25 action vp from the review.

AND OF COURSE you can work your downline, giving them real help and sponsoring new PSAs who will in time also earn you action vps from themselves attaining EA2, and TL status.

We must never forget what is the most important part of our work with SFI. Are we working to maintain our business as it is, or are we working to grow it's profitability?

My Standing Order saves me a lot of time. I don't think I could forget to put in an order each month, especially with the To Do List telling me everyday how many sales vp I have.

But, for the new affiliate and even for myself it is much easier to go through the TC catalog and pick out the items once and for all and put them into a Standing Order.

I also use the Wish List quite often and do change my Standing Odder to make room for other items as I need them. Or add to the SO to bring it up to 2000 vp or more.

If I don't have time to make the change, I am confident that I have my alotted Sales vp for the month.

Now if an affiliated absolutely does not have the finances to order something worth 1500 vp, then he should strive to find one thing that he can afford and put that in a standing order. It won't assure him of EA2 every month, and it won't earn him that 100 action vp for having a 1500 vp standing order, but it will give him that sense of accomplishment of meeting one of his goals. That and the experience of setting up a standing order so as to be able to help his new affiliates.

Let's think about the amount of time spent while pursuing each activity. The auctions usually take quite a lot of time. Sure there are some that are over in a matter of minutes, but I haven't been to one of those. Most of them go on and on. The winners are published. If you look for one, you can just about tell how long that auction lasted. If you watch one in action, you can pretty well tell how many people are playing it.

The games on the other hand are much less time consuming. You do them when you want, or have time for them. But the points that you earn are more readily available: right there on your Profile amongst your badges.

The cost of an auction compared to a game is higher by far than the cost of a game. But you get mulch more back playing the auction than a game with the MRP and TCredits rewarded for playing.

The prizes for the auction wins are also worth much more to you than the prizes for the games. You get a tangible item which you can keep, sell, or give as a gift, or you wing something for your SFI business. With the games you win only TCredits.

Now for playing either auction or game, we get one VP for each TCredit played. If we need to earn lots of AVP quickly, then the auctions are the way to go.

But, back to the topic of time spent. Unless you use the autobid and blow your stack of TCredits quickly, you will spend much time at PriceBenders. Do you have that time to give up to this?

Do you want your downline seeing what you are doing with so many hours of your week or month? Is this what you want your team duplication to follow? Could that time be better spent growing and training your business, and theirs?

I think that the best choice between the two is PriceBenders with a warning to not use all your time and money for them, and teach your downline to play them in moderation, not sacrificing their business for this pleasure.

If you know what you are doing, the very best way is to do your own advertising and sponsor them yourself.

If you are just learning how to use the very many ways to advertise, then begin with the free ones and try to make a steady progress in fine tuning your ads, choosing good places to advertise, both ad services and countries, and editing your ads until they bring sign-ups. Then do it all over again with the paid ads. There can be a lot of money lost here, so get your practice with the free ads.

Depending on your skill at this, you may find that the cost per sign-up is much less than paying someone else to do this work. You will eventually want to learn how to advertise yourself. Without that knowledge, you can not help your downline learn to advertise and that is a big weakness in your duplication.

If you are just beginning in SFI, have no time and want a guaranteed number of signups, then buy them, at least for awhile. Your best bet is to go to your up line and see if they have a team co-op. They already have a vested interest in your business and want you to succeed. SFI rules state that no one is supposed to gain or profit from running a team co-op. So you will be paying your fair share of the cost of running the co-op. This also strengthens your team in that your money and that of the others will as a group effort be more effective and can buy better ads.

My best working CSA just recently up and quit. No hint it was coming. Almost 10,000 VP this month. Gone. Him, not the VP. Why don't I quit? Let me tell you.

Early on while reading all the training, I saw the big picture. Duplication, Time Leveraging, and Synergy. Big words, big results.

All I have to do is to get 5 people to do what I am doing and help them to get five people each who will do what they are doing. How hard is that? How many people are alive in this world who are old or young enough to do it? How many people need or want more income?

So, the method and training are there. It's up to me to get it done. If I don't do the work, I fail. Do I want to fail myself? No. Besides, I have a team leader who communicates with me and I with him and my downline. We give each other the power to succeed.

My team members who partake in meaningful communication are doing much better than Mr. Opt-Out who never asked for help, said he wanted to do his own thing, and turned down tips and guidance. His VP was big, but his team was not growing.

My communicators are much more stable in their business. Problems can be worked out. Methods and results discussed. And we learn from others.
Together we are more than we would be singly.

So, I may be slower than most of you at reaching the higher status, I still know that it is attainable. I am on the right track. And there are those people who are waiting for me to find them, teach them to duplicate, leverage their time and money, and the power of synergy.

I'm not foolish enough to give up.
