The use of a Co-op is a great tool in the growth of your down-line as well as the down-line belonging to your team members.

I read the suggested Co-op Manager ideas from SFI under the Power-Tools Tab and opted to do the following:

I chose to purchase several units/shares of the S-Builder Co-op and then share sign-ups with members in my down-line. I chose to do this as my down-line members assist with my business growth and earnings; therefore, this is simple way to make an investment back into them.

I am mindful of the quote that Zig Ziglar states in all of his books and presentations, "You will get what you want by helping as many people as you can to get what they want". Consciously, I review every month what the activity level of down-line members looks like and then I simply sign-up affiliates under my team's co-op. Once they are signed in, I send each person a Team Mail informing them of what I have done and simply request that they be the best they can be every day to lead their down-line members to do their best with owning a SFI business. It is that simple.

I did initially try to have EA2 down-line members send e-mails expressing interest to receive sign-ups through a Co-op but two things happened: 1. no one was coming forward to celebrate their personal best when becoming an EA2, and 2. no growth was being shared as all the S-Builder units were only benefiting me-no one else. Thus, I decided to change my business practice to simply recognize good work by signing-up down-line members to receive sign-ups/new affiliates without their permission.

Personally, this is how I create meaningful connections with my down-line members as they work every day to invest time in their SFI; subsequently, their efforts are investing in my SFI business too. So I decided to sign-up different down-line members every month to receive down-line members from team Co-op.

To get down-line members to participate in a Co-op can be done in a variety of ways so please do consider the different ways - and be creative, as there will be something that will fit how you run your SFI business. Setting up a Co-or or more than one will benefit everyone.

Great question - I do not know if the following ideas are new, but I have used them and they all work with the right target audience and setting:

1. Give away items - time limited for new TC members,
2. Offer discount for the first week of 20% or free shipping,
3. Open House Events - use local newsletters, papers, or post personal flyers in local areas that you frequent to inform others about a TC Open House and host an evening with light refreshments for a mix and mingle which will have a brief presentation to educate others about TC,
4. Community Outreach - set up a booth at a local farmer's market or community garage sale and have TC gift cards available with additional information about TC such as a typed up FAQ sheet that people may take with them,
5. Sign-up Incentive - provide this through out the year so that if someone does not sign up now, he or she can do again in the near future and still benefit with an incentive,
6. Flyers - distribute to as many as you can. Hire a few youth that can deliver for you and in return give them a product that can be shipped from SFI to them - ideally have them wear SFI gear when delivering so as to make the work look more professional,
7. Mail-outs
8. Refer a Friend program - establish this from time to time through out the year and you can decide what you will provide - this is great to use when helping others to set up their down line sales

The best strategy for earning quickly with SFI is to participate in all streams of income offered through SFI. There is an old saying which reminds us to "not put all your eggs into one basket", which simply means it is better to diversify (use different ways) rather than focus on one strategy for income.

It is best, when you can, to participate in SFI by using the different ways to earn an income as you will start to earn money within your first month.

SFI has these opportunities for all affiliates to use:

1. Promote sales through the TripleClick store (Direct Commissions Program),
2. TripleClicks Executive Pool program
3. CSA and/or PSA Commissions
4. ECA Referral Program, &
5. SFI Pay-Per Action Program.

When an affiliates uses a mix of the above stated opportunities through SFI, then there is a guarantee that an income will be earned. When an affiliate participates in more than one of the SFI Compensation programs this will ensure that there is revenue in comparison of only using 1 strategy/program.

The "mixed" strategy approach will then ensure that even if one strategy does not work as well in one month there is a back-up of other strategies being used in the same month to earn an income.

The use of many strategies is definitely the best approach for all SFI affiliates.

An easy way for your SFI business to see great results from your online efforts is by local marketing. These cost-effective, time-saving local online marketing strategies will help you to spread the word about your SFI business and what you have to offer others.

Both can produce a profit but you will need to consider which one is easier for you to do - then pursue that one first.

As an affiliate with PRM's - this can increase your income as the PRM will hopefully purchase items that will require a renewal purchase - such as products that are TripleClicks specific such as cleaning supplies or health or even any other product that is offered through ECA's.

The more ECA's you have enrol in your program the more products that you have to choose from as well as other affiliates can choose from. When you refer the ECA - they will be registered to your Affiliate ID so when they make sales you earn a commission from each sale...that is on-going re-occurring income as well.

Both have their benefits to you as an affiliate so I would suggest focusing on the program that you know you will Ace and then once you have established a flow through that program then learn how to improve your skills to use the other one. Both have their use in SFI so if possible use both at the same time as part of your business growth plan.

This is a great question and relevant for every affiliate - no matter how long you have been involved with SFI.

I have found it useful to encourage everyone to focus primarily on 2 things when starting out:

1. Complete the Launch Pad Lessons each day - the lessons are full of information about SFI and how an affiliate may benefit from having a relationship with SFI. The more informed we are as affiliates, the better we are at marketing and sharing with prospects about how SFI can help them reach their dreams,

2. Complete the tasks that are listed on the To-Do List tab on an affiliate's home page - this list helps to focus efforts on tasks that are needed to be completed daily, weekly and monthly. When the To-Do list is followed, this helps to reduce the distractions from what is needed to be done and ensures that something is done every day to promote the business.

Distribution of gift cards - as a gift is simply you customizing your message for those you give the gift to.

You can could use the e-cards that SFI offers to all affiliates to use to introduce your gift. Be sure you include the link and redemption code so that your gift recipient is able to redeem their gift card from you.

Remember when you give a gift, it is a customization fit for the person you have in mind.

Gift giving simply means not using a form letter or form e-mail to spread the news about SFI - gift cards need to be a fit to them on how they can use it.

It was once said by Zig Ziglar that taking a bath is done daily as the benefits of the bathing only lasts for a short time as we all get dirty again - this concept applies to motivation too.

Everyone is bombarded by so many things day in and day out that it becomes quite easy to become de-motivated and loose the fire to move on with SFI. Motivation only carries a person's activity for a brief time then once motivation is gone, people will loose their momentum.

Reasons to loose motivation will vary from person to person but the primary reason for losing motivation is that it was never fulfilling - in other words meaningful. Once this is the case, it is important for leaders or team players to assist each other to find the motivation once more which has fulfillment and not just temporary pleasurable outcomes.

If the leader or team mate is quick to detect that the motivation is simply temporary it is important to immediately step in and help that fellow affiliate to find their TRUE purpose with SFI so that actions that are performed in their SFI business become about feeling fulfilled and not just temporary satisfaction.

Keeping one motivated can be done by using may strategies but it is important to consider if the purpose is strong enough and realistic enough to keep the affiliate moving forward and upward.

Motivation may simply mean:

reminding fellow affiliates their purpose to join SFI by sending a TeamMailer message or an E-card

share stories from other affiliates that give some insight to the struggle that was defeated to become successful

share personal quotes that resonate with you that may help others to stick to it when things get tough

encourage the affiliate to talk directly with others to be socially fed by the energy of others successes

review the "purpose to join SFI" with the fellow affiliate as this may need to be changed due to life circumstances changing

it is never too late to find the spark of motivation to move action forward. So even though internal or external motivation factors for the affiliate are important, I personally believe the following is the upmost important factor necessary to help others who have drifted due to motivation levels dropping:

TEAM ATTITUDE - this is a critical component to an affiliate's success. Does the team share compassion, collaboration and mindfulness - if TEAM ATTITUDE is the issue then the motivation review process needs to happen with others (leaders included).

A book that I would recommend to SFI affiliates is "Peaks and Valleys". This book is simple to read and about 130 pages in length so does not require you to set aside a lot of time to read it through.

The book is an analogy, story format, about a young man searching for his personal success in life and in doing so comes across a mentor who explains how one attracts success.

I recommend this book not only to affiliates but also to share with family, friends and other people you may interact with.

I have read it several times and own a copy of it in my personal library at home.

It is wonderful if you have the capacity to represent yourself as an affiliate in both roles - an ECA representative and an affiliate that creates a referral of shoppers for other ECA services associated with the TripleClicks store.

Being both enables an affiliate to leverage the benefits from each which are taught within the first month of joining SFI as an active affiliate.

Being in both roles has benefits to each affiliate. I would think the following question would be helpful for all to consider: Which role am I able to effectively perform now? The answer may be "be an ECA and referral support to other ECA's" or "I am only able to take on the role as a referral support".

There may be affiliates who are unable to consider either role due to possibly not feeling adequate to take on either position - nevertheless, the ECA referral program would be one of great benefit to those who are uncertain as can absolutely benefit from the ECA program by learning how to network and make referrals for other ECA members.

It is necessary to consider what we-each affiliate, feels comfortable with and then go and do it. When we are comfortable with doing a task, such as being an ECA or making referrals for other ECA's with TripleClicks - these tasks will be done effectively and with success.

It is always good to do what you know best and then from that point build up and on-ward. This is the true SFI-entrepreneur spirit. Be all that you can be to everyone.
