Remember each has it's benefits so it is better to consider what is your purpose for recruitment.

If you're focused on networking and connecting to local businesses, then it would be best to perform off line recruitment.

If you're simply looking to have exposure and build an e-mail list for people to receive updates about products or to receive feeds from your updates on a blog site or even use of social media means, then on-line strategies for recruitment will work best.

For promotional work, it is always best to work from the out-come phase and work your way back wards to find the answer to your question about which strategy is best to use for that out-come.

For recruitment marketing, it is of vital importance to consider primarily "to whom" you are wanting to share your message with. Depending on the audience, the "to whom", you will find one method will be a profile fit in comparison of the other.

Each recruitment method works...you simply need to consider who whom you are sharing the recruitment message with and then from that you will begin to develop a clear plan with which (on-line or off-line) approach is best.

You may want to consider who is your preferred attraction to joining SFI such as stay at home mom's, second income earners, semi-retired, retired or even young entrepreneurs.

Your category choice will appeal to whom you wish to attract. There is no right or wrong answer to this; the answer is simply dependant on who you wish to attract to join SFI.

In addition to the tasks identified on my To-Do List I will prepare myself for the week and the next day.

Every Sunday I prepare my self to consider what I wish to accomplish for the up-coming week that is unique from previous weeks...it may be a new mail out campaign, recruitment methods and locations, or even ECA prospecting.

Once I have my Plan for the week in place I will ensure that is it in alignment with what I want to accomplish for the month - I will review my goals on my Goals tab. Then after this I will plan out each day for the week as to how I will use minutes and hours in my day to promote my business. I may dedicate one day to focus on customer service with my internal customers with SFI - my down line, as being available and present for down line team members is as important as being available to external customers. I usually dedicate a few minutes to review my emails to see if there are leads that I can use to follow-up with to discuss possible TripleClicks on-line store sales-distribution of products. I will always dedicate time to monitoring the up-coming auctions for products or services that I wish to use in my own business.

Basically the success of SFI is not only performing the tasks that are listed on your To-Do list but also requires some preparation as to what you want to do with SFI and how you will achieve. If planning is not done, your time will disappear and for sure will be sabotaged by others who will plan your time for you but may not be in alignment with what your SFI business needs from you.

You can access several of the Social Media platforms to spread the word about TC and SFI.

You can use the internet to share SFI by using a blog and vlog to share the benefits of SFI and what it has to offer the whole world.

It is important to NOT limit your sharing to common ways as the more creative your approaches are, the more awareness you shall spread.

For a suggestion on what not to do - it is not wise to connect with prospects/customers for your service without their permission. If you do not get their permission, then your email messages to introduce yourself will be considered as spam. No one likes spam; never just add people o your email list. Spam is not an appropriate business practice to build a subscriber list.

On this topic, subscriber list...developing a scriber list with proper communication is what a new ECA should do.

One way to start building your subscriber list, is to ask all your existing clients and contacts if you can have their email address.

Once you get permission, ask if you can contact them from time to time via email with a newsletter or special offers or announcements. This will get you your initial list and give you something to get started with. Be sure to make an effort to contact these people with useful information, and make it easy for them to share your newsletter so they can assist with growing your list.

Another way to build your subscriber list is to put on your blog or website a way for people to sign up to receive regular updates from your ECA store. This needs to be easy to read and positioned in an uncluttered area of your site, which everyone will see.

Wise choices made during the first month with the ECA program, such as the one mentioned above will promote future business growth.

Responses to questions about SFI, for me, vary so I personally express in every response my "WHY" for being a part of SFI as as an affiliate and a TripleClicks member.

I have found that when I express my "WHY" for being part of this organization, I then express the "WHAT" that SFI does not only for me but for my family and the global economy. Once I am done sharing my "WHY" for being part of the SFI team, I have found that the comment I get in return is "HOW" does one become an affiliate or TripleClicks member.

The "WHY" for my involvement is emotionally/passionately driven so when I connect with other people on an emotional level about SFI they see the passion that I have and that the passion is fed by the "WHAT" SFI stands for.

I encourage you to consider your "WHY" and to be clear about your "WHY" for not only others you speak with but for your self. It is the clarity of your "WHY" that will help you share your passion with others.

The amazing thing about SFI is that it can meet the "WHY" of each affiliate. Each affiliate is different and thus will have a different "WHY" for joining.

Simply put, SFI is for everyone.

There are so many ways to grow your SFI business if you happen to be a shy person or happen to not have full confidience with managing the business on-line.

It is important to not focus on the things that "I can not do" but please take time - not just 2 minutes, but sit down with a tea or coffee and itemize on a sheet of paper what you can do. If you find this activity difficult, please ask a close friend, business associate or another family member to join you on this little acitivity.

The acivity is to list all the Skills and Know-How that you possess> Yes, you have skills and know-how that can be used in this business so let us consider a few ideas to get your skills inventory list going:

Desire- this is critical as this keeps lighting your inside fire to keep motivated to be an entrepreneur

Reading - this is a critical skill to have so that you can read posts from other affiliates and learn from others even from their blogs on what works for growing your business

Friendships - you have connections with people so that means to me that you know how to manage yourself with others so can opening start to use your friendship skills to learn what your friends want from out of life and introduce SFI to them to share the very fact that SFI can help them achieve what they want,

Listening - this is a critical skill to have when working as a business owner. You need to listen to your customers and fellow team mates to better understand what they want or need from you. Once you know what they truly want, then you can proceed to help them to be helpful because you are following through on what he/she wants.

Your list should continue from there.

As you can see, listing your current skills and describing how the skill helps you to be a better SFI affiliate for yourself and others will help you to build the confidence to grow your own business. You draw on your skills to create a business plan that uses the skills you all ready have. Don't be something that you are not - just be yourself and watch your SFI business grow.

There is nothing more frustrating than putting effort into something that you want to believe in that does not work the way you want it to.

First thing - the most critical is to acknowledge the feeling of frustration that the affiliate is telling you in their statement, "I want to quit SFI because nothing is happening...". Owning your own business requires not only time, but also emotional and mental work too so definitely recognize the emotions that the affiliate is feeling when he/she expresses such a statement...this is a serious comment to be dealt with in a serious and supportive manner.

After connecting on a level with the affiliate that let's he/she know that you are there to work along side to find out what can be done to fix the concern, do the following:

Review together the work plan that has been followed thus far - in other words review how he/she has earned VP. Versa Points is a great way to measure what efforts have been helping the business and what has not.

Once you both take on the review, encourage the affiliate to continue to own the SFI business but to own it in a different way. Take a few minutes to review the SFI "Rules of Success" and see which one the affiliate is interested in pursuing the next month. That is all that is required, focused efforts with a definite purpose for 30 days to create movement forward.

Inquire if the affiliate can wait for a 30 day cycle to see what happens on their To-Do List VP tracking. Be sure that you extend your support during the next 30 days to support the affiliate's business expectations for the month.

It is important to review with the fellow affiliate the goals that are stated on their Goals tab. Goals are truly broken down into a 3 step system and most people will express their "A" goal which is their reason for joining SFI but do not then outline the steps to achieve their "A" goal with supporting goals - smaller achievements to help them get to "the top". Assist them to develop a plan which has his/her "B" goal stated which helps them to focus their efforts for the 30 day cycle which will feed into achieving their A - Goal as a long term achievement. B-Goals are short term such as weekly or bi-weekly achievements...these goals are then supported by C-goals which are the process at which the B-goal will be achieved.

I am sure that there will be many responses to your question about how do talk with an affiliate who expresses "I am quitting due to no results"....and all will have valid points but please be sure to undertake the fist step as a sponsor/affiliate - recognize the emotions that are attached to this statement as the affiliate is expressing the need for assistance to see the benefits that SFI does offer.

The best things in life are only 1 step away or simply 1 millimeter away and it would be a very sad moment when the affiliate realizes that if he/she dug a little more to the left or the right they will hit GOLD. SFI follows a simple process to wealth sharing but it is not easy - it requires all of us to put in the time and effort.

The best approach to having PSA's submit a sponsor rating is to be open and inviting in your dealings with downline members.

People will feel comfortable sharing feed-back with you so as long you have all ready shown that you are wanting to receive the feed-back.

Simply be open and inviting in your dealings with every team member every day and this will open the communication between leaders and downline members.

The VP's is another way to encourage people to submit a rating and yet if they perceive the 10VP to be a small token for providing feed-back they may choose not to do so as there are so many other ways to earn 10VP.

I do believe that communicating to your downline about how feed-back ultimately serves them as it provides guidance to the leader how to serve them better. It would be best to frame the encouragment as a way of investing in them selves to have a better team leaader to help them on their journey with developing the best business plan they can with the use of SFI.

Entreprenures are successful when their focus is on serving others and the best way to serve others is to understand what their needs are and what their goals are so on-going feed-back received through the use of a sponsor rating report card is one way to get the feed-back to improve our leadership practice.

Google Translate is a great tool to use when communicating with team members from other countries as a quick on-line translation tool. Another translation online tool that I have used from time to time is Babelfish. URL is http://www.babelfish.com/

I appreciate the question being focused on "effective communication". For the team I am working with, I have found translation to be helpful but also do ask team members for their feed back to be sure that what is being sent is helpful to them. I make sure that I ask PSA's and even CSA's that are from specific language user-groups to be sure that what I send is meeting their needs as how I may think a message is being portrayed may not necessarily match how the message is being received by the receiver (audience member).

Feed-back is the best way to know if your translation is effective and beneficial for fellow PSA's.

As a great team builder opportunity, ask for support from a few key down line members who are from respective countries to become your Down Line Translation Team - as a Translation Team, you may want to schedule weekly or bi-weekly meetings to discuss the up-coming communication notes that you want to share with the team and have Translation Team members come up with ideas which will help your message to be clear as well as be Culturally Adaptive to more than 1 language group. Language - the message you say, in addition to being Culturally Sensitive equals effective, respectful communication.

Words (Message) + Cultural Sensitivity = Effective Communication

Solicit among down line team members their interest to be part of a Translation Team that you can co-ordinate and possibly have language representation for what your whole down line composition is made up of eg: Italian, Urdu, Japanese, Chinese (remember various dialects), Russian, German et al. In return for their time to participate in the Translation Team, be sure to recognize these individuals by way of a Stream Post, Team Mailer or even personally with an e-card or membership in a Co-Op Manager that you may be operating or a Re-Assignment of a PSA/CSA.

Remember Translation is only language level but also the other component for effective communication is Cultural Sensitivity - when both of these elements are synchronized, your down line PSA's will appreciate your consideration and interest in their SFI activity.
