I was Executive affiliate (EA) just few days after joining SFI, and Team Leader (TL) within two weeks. What did I do? I instantly followed the step-by-step outlined in "SFI Basics" and the Launchpads.

Now, 17 (Seventeen) months with SFI, I have always maintained my team leader rank. I have not yet achieved the level of success I want, and certainly not all the potential SFI has to offer. However it is my life long goal to do so.

The point I am making here is the following: An affiliate should have clear goals, be driven, with vision and focus.

He/she should aim at qualifying as EA as soon as possible. It is clear that reaching this goal will depend on their ability and work ethics, as well as their disposable resources to invest.

However, lack of resources can be overcome. Working our warm market is not financially demanding. It has the potential of helping us start building our team. Sponsoring five or more EAs from our warm market will help us easily qualify as EA ourselves and upgrade the next month to TL.

The best time to upgrade our rank from EA to TL is function of our drive, focus and willingness to explore all the avenues we have available to build our business and our team. The sooner we allocate adequate time and efforts to our business, not neglecting any resources and potential source of sponsoring, the earlier and better we will reach the ranks of TL.

It is also important to keep in mind that reaching the rank of Bronze Team Leader (BTL) is just the first step in a long journey. We should set our vision on being a Diamond Team Leader (DTL) with in our team, other DTLs all the way into our 12th generation.

Hence, do not set you goal just to upgrading from EA to TL. Instead, set your vision, focus your efforts to going all the way to the highest ranks with the strongest team. At the same time, do not neglect sales of TripleClicks products, promotion of Eager Zebra games and Pricebenders auctions.

Advertising is a long term effort. Results are rarely seen in short term. Effective advertising aims at changing people’s behavior and buying habits.

It would be counterproductive to despair when satisfactory results are not forthcoming sooner.

The rules of success teach us to never despair, never give-up and, certainly not quit.

More importantly, to grow an SFI business, advertising should come after we have fully taped on our warm market. We have effective marketing aids and methods very much suited for our family, friends and other personal connections. This business development approach is less expensive and more likely to yield faster results.

After we have built a business foundation with a team made up of people we personally know well, we will have the experience and the stamina to target prospects through advertising.

We should approach advertising with a mindset of testing the markets, building the most effective advertising approach, and frequently fine tuning our advertisement campaigns.

Now, you are concerned and seeking input on what to do as you are faced with non-satisfactory results of your advertising. You may want to review your strategy in the light of the above.
If you have not thoroughly worked your warm market, this is the time to do so.

Next, educate yourself on the inner working of advertising for online business development. It is important that you know what has proven to work and what does not work.

Second, identify the target audience of your marketing efforts. Ensure that such targets have a genuine interest in getting involved with online businesses.

As the JMT Gateway is the latest of the SFI Gateways, we all are working to figure out the most productive ways to use this sponsoring URL.

We are starting 2015 with a renewed commitment to growing our SFI to outstanding achievements, success and massive income building.

Third, make it a major feature in my Website and my blog, always with the combination of a very appropriate pictures for business purposes.

Fourth, Design Funnels, Landing pages and Splash pages that use the JMT gateway to attract serious online opportunity seekers to SFI.

Fifth, Use the JMT Gateway as the central feature of my email marketing campaigns, my SOLO emails to be sent through Text Exchanges, Safelists and Rotators.

Sixth, Adapt the JMT Gateway to fit the design required in ordering large traffic packages in paid advertising to attract prospects to SFI, and finally

Seventh, Incorporate the JMT Gateway with my List Building Strategies, Co-ops and Autoresponders.

We are more likely to be successful if we attract the right people in large numbers.

I personally think that it a good and balanced approach to advertise both online and offline.

In either way, our goal is to reach as many potentially interested people as we can. That potential interest is the "Quality" we are looking for.

The largest the number of people we can reach the better. That is the traffic volume.

B. Online High Quality/High Volume Traffic is given to us by search engine ranking, and keyword search. We should link that to Alexia and other website ranking tools. They provide us with both the volume to daily visitors and indication of what prospects or opportunity seekers are looking for.

C. When we are use Offline Advertising, we should give priority to selection criteria based on demographics, income levels and personal interests as well as demographic concentrations.

In conclusion, we will be well advised to direct our advertising efforts to the right spots where we can find the customers, prospects and opportunity seekers that might have a potential interest in SFI and its various income streams.

Isn't it better to run a business on which people are working every minute around the world?

In other words, our shops are open for business 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

That increases our potential of making money at exponential rates.

And you are right, we need to know how to use this efficiently to our advantage, making "the diversity of cultures" and the "spanning of SFI" around the Globe to benefit us.

At the outset, it is important to understand that there is only one "Business Culture", especially in the world of Internet.

That one culture is: "The culture of efficiency, cost effectiveness and Making Money"

When you focus on being efficient, providing cost effective ways to do business and helping people make money, everybody around the world will understand your message. This will break the language barriers and attract people to your business, regardless of their culture, language of communication, or their locations on the map.

This is how I deal with it:


A. Creating Sponsoring and sale Tools that are available 24/7
There two types of such tools: personal and collective.

1. the Personal Tools are: your website, your blogs and your press releases.

2. the collective tools are the social media and the built-in marketing and advertising features such as groups, business pages, tweets, pins and other specific instruments with varying names from one social media website to the next.

B.Targeting our sponsoring and duplication efforts to those of our team members who are dedicating themselves to work SFI successfully.

Through the various SFI communications tools, you can reach your team members 24/7. You have specific mailers to reach your Genealogy, or your PSAs, or CSAs, or any other specific group in your Genealogy.

The point here is two folds:

First, aim as wide as possible in your efforts to reach SFI prospects, Tripleclicks customers, Pricebenders Auction Bidders, and Eager Zebra Game players.

Second, narrow you duplication efforts to whose who show genuine interest after they sign up in your team.

Those are the ones for whom timezone is not an impediment in working to grow their SFI business.

No, SFI is just at the inception of its potential growth. Although it has now 15 years of existence, it is only starting to scratch the surface of its potential, which is enormous.

Yes, this is the best time to start building an SFI Business for years to come.
SFI Corporate mentioned this in the Newsletter published early January 2014. 2013 was a year of unprecedented growth. That pace of growth is likely to continue.

All hard working affiliates are equally well positioned to reap the tremendous benefits of promoting an SFI business.

Actually, we are in a better position today than the earlier Affiliates. We have tools they did not have. We have a global market. They did not. We have a speed and efficiency of communications that did not exist before. We are building on their success while they started from scratch.

To give examples of the practical advantages we have today, which did not exist in 1998, when SFI was incorporated, let's look at your country. The Philippines have a population of about 102 millions as per figures relating to 2011. Unemployment rate is above 7%, while gross domestic product (GDP) per capita (per person) is only at
PHP 118,476, (in local currency) the equivalent of $2,918 per year.

Your market in the Philippines includes all the literate people who are unemployed, or not fully employed, or not satisfied with they employment, or those who are looking to be open their ow business.

It is safe to say that, in a year or two of hard and smart work, as an SFI Affiliate, you could be in a position to make a monthly commission close to that average annual income per person in the Philippines today. At the same time, you would also be building your residual income (for retirement so to speak). A successful SFI Affiliate who retires would be able to maintain their income level. This is not possible for an employee in any brick and mortar business and in any country. Today people are retiring nearly empty handed.

It is interesting to note that your country is the third most active in SFI, after India and the USA. However, the above statistics are closely similar for India, Pakistan, South Africa, and Nigeria, just to mention a few of the top SFI countries.

Another interesting fact is the rate of penetration of the internet in all these countries, which is extremely high. Worldwide, internet access is making leaps and bounds, opening new areas of recruiting for us.

It is clear that in 1998, very few Filipinos had access to the internet. This fact applies also to the other countries that are leading today in active SFI Affiliates. Marketing reach and methods used by SFI Affiliates at that time could hardly go beyond North America. Today, we reach at every corner of the globe and growing.

When we combine all these factors, it is clear that we have today a much greater opportunity that the early SFI Affiliates had.

Then, I would encourage you and every other Affiliate who joined recently, to see SFI as a real potential for building a sound and strong business for the future of many years to come.

Your question is a valid one in the context of the CSAs process.

We all have experienced our first batch of CSAs, when we reach the ranks of Executive Affiliate (EA) and bronze team leader (BTL).

I personally noticed that a good number of the CSAs have been with SFI for nearly a year while we may be in our first or second month, but most of them are inactive.

However some are active and eager to genuinely build their business.

To open and maintain working communication channels with our Co-sponsored affiliates, it may be useful to first look at the processes through which we acquire them.

I. CSA Acquisition
The main source of CSAs is the allocation made by SFI Corporate in various ways, the most significant of which being the monthly second home allocations.
We can also win them in auctions. There is an auction lot of 200 CSAs. Winning such a large number will boost a team significantly.

As a result, it is not uncommon to have a relatively strong CSAs team in few months, some times in the hundreds, if not thousands. The majority of them will be inactive, while a minority will show eagerness to work.

II. Wisdom is to focus first on the Active affiliate
The best and most effective use of our time is to help the active affiliates, support them in every aspect and with all the tools SFI offers.
(a) group communications through weekly mailing, contests, motivation incentives,etc.
(b) one-to-support to recognize the active and successful ones, organize contest to help set goals, work with a plan for success, and take the needed actions to get results.

III. Regular communication attempts wit inactive Co-sponsored affiliates (CSAs).
It is very important to be realistic here. We will notice that there are many who have not verified their email addresses. That is a clear warning. Spending too much time here will have negative impacts in other parts of our SFI Business development efforts.

However, there is a minimum that we can reasonably do on a regular basis.
1. The weekly Genealogy and CSAs Group Mailers should be maintained.
2. For those who have verified their email addresses, individual communication attempts should be made, possibly more than once a week.
3. When warranted (based on accurate information) e-Cards may be sent.
4. Emails and advice to resume work should be sent to those who were active at one time but stopped doing so.
5. At the first red alert for the risk of being dropped, we should attempts to bring back the affiliates that have remained inactive for close to a year.

But again, this activity should be done with great wisdom while paying attention to others parts of the SFI business that need our attendance the most.

This is a very straightforward question.

SFI is a well thought business model designed to help its affiliates take full advantage of today's affiliate marketing potential worldwide. Each SFI branch can be viewed as a specific income stream: (i) we earn direct commissions from our PSAs; (ii) we have second home income through our CSAs; (iii) There are PRIM sales commissions, and (iv)SFIPPA. (v) We can also be e-Commerce Affiliates by opening our own stores, or (vi) just list few items in our Tconnect page. (vii) Another option is to sponsor e-Commerce Affiliates, and promote their products, be they products of the ECAs we invited or other ECAs.

All these potential sources of income are available to us to maximize our efforts and make the most of the opportunities to grow our business.

It would be short sightedness to limit oneself to only one of these opportunities or even to only two or three. With little bit more efforts, we can both sponsor affiliates while promoting e-Commerce activity and selling our own products.

Sponsoring Affiliates and teaching them duplication is vital to the SFI Business. A good combinations of sponsoring, sales of Tripleclicks products, promoting our own store or products and inviting businesses to join the e-Commerce, all these are complementary. They go hand in hand.

We should not neglect any one of them.
Focusing only on one or two of them would weaken our business and thwart our efforts even those on which we are putting emphasis.

(2)Presenting inaccurate information are the two main mistakes to avoid when you ARE creating and placing SFI ads.

We will discuss these two aspects. They will cover most of the issues that may arise when promoting our SFI Business.

I. Misrepresentation may occur when
(a) we overstate what SFI Offers or, the opposite,
(b) understate what one can expect from working SFI diligently

A. Overstating what SFI offers can occur if we were to imply that one can get rich overnight as do some internet businesses that promise to make you a millionaire in a relatively short period of time.

B. Understating SFI's potential is also counterproductive. One would not embark in an approach that would undermine the success of one's advertising campaign.

II. Inaccurate Presentation of SFI may result if we have not taken the time to learn the SFI Basics, ore gone through the launchpad thoroughly and or have neglected to study all the training modules SFI Corporate has made available.
