IAHBE is an excellent product that is sold through TripleClicks. The membership not only provides information on how to be a better entrepreneur but also provides you the tools that you can develop your leadership skills to enhance your efforts to guide others who are on-line/e-commerce entrepreneurs.
I appreciate that IAHBE offers the opportunity to share "sample articles" with not only with down line members but also with others who you may know who are interested or all ready have an on-line business. Sharing samplers with others provides an opportunity for others to see the value added benefit one can have when a membership is purchased.

When someone asks you why they should join SFI, what do you say?

Good question to ask fellow affiliates.
My response is built around my "WHY" that I have joined SFI. I do not focus too much on the "WHAT" SFI does for me as this is simply sharing the benefits of SFI such as reduced cost to items that I use in my home business as well as personal.
My "WHY" for joining SFI is then sharing with others the emotional value that SFI has for me and how SFI can help others - such as proof with having over 1.5 million members world wide.
The "WHY" simply answers my passion for having SFI in my life and I share comments about my personal interest to participate in economic endeavours which not only benefit me but future generations -which SFI can do.

What is the best plan to give your new PSAs to help them get started...from day one through their third month in SFI?

I really like the way the question is worded, "...plan to give your new PSA to help them get started...".
Planning is the key to success with any endeavour that someone will take on. A business is successful when there is a plan in place to provide support with the why, what, and how with running a business with SFI as an affiliate.
The first month, in my opinion is taken care of through the completion of the Launch Pad Lessons provided by SFI. The Launch Pad lessons are great as these are easy to read - daily mini-training sessions for all new affiliates as well as great materials to review for affiliates with more than one-month's experience with SFI.
During the first month that the PSA is part of your down-line, I have found is the best time to communicate with them directly to better understand "their why-purpose" for joining SFI and then support them with the design of a goal and plan that keeps "their why - motivation" alive for the months to follow after their first month.
The "plan" is best designed when it is meaningful to the individual who will follow it. Every affiliate has a "why" for joining SFI so getting to know "the why" of the PSA enables a joint effort to design a plan for success.
The value added service that a sponsor/Team Leader may offer is to coach PSA's and even CSA's to better understand "their why" for becoming an affiliate. A plan that fits their "why" will provide a source of motivation for affiliates to follow their plan to achieve their goals and dreams in life.
A plan that fits "the why" as expressed by the PSA will not only provide a purpose for daily business activity but will also provide a source of motivation for the affiliates for the months and years to follow to become their best.

If you're new in SFI and new to marketing, etc., how can you help a new PSA who needs guidance?

There are many resources available through SFI that can help you and others regarding guidance for growth with SFI.
Before you take on the endeavour to read all the Training articles, Forum Posts, ASK SC posts and even read through materials that are available through IAHBE, it would be a good idea to establish your goals for the month.
Goals will help to focus your efforts for the month or even few months so that you do not simply become bombarded by so many new things that it becomes overwhelming. As stated under the SFI Basics tab, this work does not need be complicated but truly focused.
Be sure to inquire with your down line members what they hope to achieve with being an affiliate with SFI then brainstorm with he or she the strategies that will assist with achieving the goal/s. Then start the search for the materials that are available online though SFI to fit the description of your strategy.
It is best to keep things focused as there is so much made available through SFI and it can become overwhelming. Focus on one or 2 needs in the immediate moment then work on a plan to move on to the next part of the learning curve. In a few months, each down line member will be well versed in how to run SFI as a business and what can be done to make the business grow.

What is the best way to maintain my SFI position and continue to support my team whilst on vacation with limited, if any, internet availability?

Affiliate since: 12/31/1969, Power Rank: 99999999
Great question.
I have run into this problem while away for vacation (same country and out of country).
I do the following to make things work a little easier until I am able to return home:
Hotel- if I am at a hotel I will inquire about wifi access so that I may use my phone as a hotspot for internet and not over spend on my data plan that I pay for with my cell phone company. Roaming charges can be quite pricey.
Local Libraries: Libraries in all major cities have computers and it is simple to go and get a short term libary card which includes access to their computers for public use. I have found this to be quite helpful as computers at libraries are updated with current software and devices. For this suggestion, be sure to inquire public library hours so you may schedule your time to access this public service. Some libaries may charge a small fee for this.
Internet Cafes - major cities have internet cafes and even coffee shoppes offer wifi to it's customers for free. For an example while I was away, I looked for Starbucks, Tim Horton's, Timothy's coffee and even Seattle's best coffee shoppes - all offer wifi for free therefore, I just go to such places for my morning coffee and work on my SFI business while I drink my java.
Family/friends - if you're staying with family and friends just ask about using their wifi access or their computer to do work. I do this often and have never been denied as people have more awareness that when on vacation this does not mean work stops. Business owners and employees consistently check e-mails and other communication for work to ensure that one doesn't miss anything so as to be ready for work again after the vacation. Another bonus is you may provide a tutorial to other family members about the SFI Way and sign them up as PSA's.
Internet Hotspot devices - I love my wifi device when I go to the cabin. I have a device which enables me to access the internet even when I am on a boat fishing in the middle of the lake in the middle of no-where. I use my device often and will take it with me when I travel to places where I know wifi is not available. I obtained my wifi internet device from my cell phone provider for a small montlhy fee.
Internet Service - if you're away for a long period let's say 3 months or more, you may want to consider getting a plan from a local internet provider and start accessing the internet by using local businesses that offer the service. This helps the local merchants and also you may use this opportunity to create a working relationship with the merchant to offer deals to other SFI TripleClicks members - viola you have an ECA.

Which TEXT ADS have worked the best for you to attract PSAs?

You are right, text is really necessary for you all pages of your website. Add more of description to your products - this will improve user experience.
I have found the use of the SFI Text ads to be useful that are brief and that match the target audience I intend to advertise too. The use of Text Ads is a tool but obviously will need to consider the reason why text ads will work on some websites or blogs and not on others.
One simple idea is to increase the assortment on your site so you can track "who" is attracted to your site. Is your site providing information that is appealing to new entrepreneurs or appealing to those who have the experience with on-line marketing.
It is an excellent way to grow your team with a mix of PSA's - various back grounds and experiences so that your team becomes diversified and can grow to reach all parts of the world.
Businesses thrive when their workforce is comprised of a variety of workers so that the business is appealing to all people with different back grounds.
Anyway, enjoy using all the Text Ads and don't limit yourself to just 1 or 2 as you will only know the endless possibilities only through using variety.

How do I get my a2a friends to offer positive support and assistance?
, Aff ()
11/1/2013 8:23 am
Affiliate since: 12/31/1969, Power Rank: 99999999
Your question is a good one as being a member of SFI and being successful with SFI is based on learing not only from SFI but also from fellow affiliates through communication. A2A is most certainly one way to communicate with others about SFI and share strategies for success.
This question inquires about how to get A2A friends to offer positive support and assistance...well, it has proven through my experience that positive support and assistance needs to start with me. So I would encourage you to consider what behaviours have you shown to others that have been helpful, positive, and supportive.
Another consideration is to think about what your expectations are for support and assistance. Every affiliate has a need(s) and what may be your expectation for support and assistance may not be the same for another affiliate so it is also important to directly communicate with others through A2A about what is needed for their business to become strong and successful.
Support and assistance is a key with being successful with SFI and a better understanding of what this is, what it looks like, and what is expected for this best understood by modelling what it means to you so that other affiliates can simply follow your lead.
Success and support is not only in the hands of SFI, affiliates but also yours too.
Excellent!

I live in Africa. How can I become successful in SFI?

Greetings fellow affiliate,
I appreciate your question about how to become successful with SFI while you live in Africa.
I would like to suggest that you take time to consider how other people near your home or other African states could benefit from knowing about SFI.
SFI is a business that helps other people. So for an example, are there people or families who make crafts or other items that others can buy from them through SFI? If there is a craft (jewellery or ornaments) or even other items made in Africa that other people can buy to use, then SFI would be a great way to advertise and sell these artisan products.
SFI also enables anyone, man or woman, to become an affiliate and then affiliates (just like you) can help others become affiliates with SFI to sell SFI products such as cleaning supplies, health supplies, books et al.
It is also important to communicate with your upline team members (sponsors and co-sponsors) as they are great resources for information about how to be successful with SFI.
I would encourage you to seek out affiliate friendships by using the A2A tab as this is where it is easy to connect with many affiliates who may life in Africa too and then you can share business ideas.
Congratulations in joining the SFI team - You are not alone you are among business associates that want the best for you too.

What should SFI affiliates do every day to build their SFI business?

Great question, and to be honest I do not know if there is a "should" but for sure a suggestion on what affiliates can minimally do every day to build their business...
I have found being focused on a few tasks every day to help keep everything on track. The use of the To-Do List Tab has been a "must do" in my personal business practice every day. The To-Do List as created by SFI has helped to keep me on track to complete daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
The To-Do List has been a valued tool that I use every day and have used ever since signing up with SFI. The To-Do List helps to keep everything on track and also helps to save time because it focuses your efforts when you sit down to work.
Simply put - the To-Do List is where it is at.

Of all of SFI's Power Tools, which ones works best for you and why?

8/8/2013 7:55 am

You are right in saying that SFI has many Power Tools...
...for my efforts and work with SFI as an affiliate, I have found the use of the Co-op Manager the best fit for my business approach.
The Co-op Manager enables me to subscribe members from my down-line to become mentors-business coaches to new affiliates meanwhile supports growth of the whole team. I have found the Co-op Manager to be a great asset as this tool helps to leverage the skill sets of every one who is subscribed to the Co-op Manager, promotes time management for the whole team while undergoing a growth curve, and provides a way for me to recognize fellow affiliates who are part of my down-line team.
The Co-op Manager is such a great tool as you simply subscribe, set it up and that is it. SFI "does all the heavy lifting" to assist with growth of your team through the use of the Co-op Manager Tool.
All in all, there is really no cost to set up and in my opinion the value added service of the Co-Op Manager is PRICELESS.
