Should I encourage or discourage my PSAs who want to become Team Leaders right away?

Hallo
That is a very good question - if you make the wrong decision you can loose them.
I think you have to balance and individualize your responses to your team.
If they indicate they want to become Team Leaders right away I would applaud them and support them but I would also make sure they know that not becoming a team leader right away is not the end of the world and it does not mean they failed.
I would also make sure they know that they are putting pressure on themselves to achieve it every month.
Don't push anybody to go for it if they would rather take it a bit slower.
So you basically have to "read" your team - another reason to get to know them.
I would never discourage anybody to aim high - just make sure they keep their feet on the ground so disappointment won't hit them too hard. Hey, you never know - they might surprise even the most pessimistic person and take off right from the get go and keep on soaring. If they do you win with them.

Is it worthwhile to send individual welcome letters to new PSAs...or can I just send out group mailings?

I feel your initial contact should be personal. After that I send out group mail - except to my movers. I send them personal messages to encourage them and keep them working and to make sure they know I am available and interested in helping them. In my opinion it is definitely worth while to go the extra mile with your down line. Good luck and have fun with your business.
Should I advise new PSAs to slow down and not qualify as Team Leaders so quickly?

Personally I feel a new affiliate should take their time to get to know SFI and not be in such a hurry to become team leader.
When they 1st sign up give them the advantages and disadvantages of qualifying quickly and then leave it up to them.
Why do I say this?
How do you lead a team to be successful business owners if you don't know how to do it yourself yet? It will result in guesswork or wrong information. All the information will be watered down and will not help the affiliates like it is suppose to.
Can you TELL them to slow down?
No - they have to make informed decisions for themselves. If they choose to become team leaders quickly you change your strategy and support them in that decision - whether you agree or not.

How can I convince new affiliates of the importance of logging in at the Affiliate Center every day?

Hallo there
You are a Bronze team leader, a finalist in the E365 challenge, you've got a lot of badges on your profile. You did not get that far and so many badges because you only logged in when the mood strikes you - did you?
You yourself is the best "advertisement" for SFI and logging in every day. Invite them to go and look at your leadership page. Use your blog on your leadership page to tell the story of your success so far. Make sure you emphasize you logged in every day.
Also give them tips - one at a time so that you do not overwhelm them - when you send out your weekly mail or newsletter.
It's been proven over and over again - when you talk and do from own experience you have the most success - not just here - but in life.

What is the best way to convince someone who is over 50 that they should get started with SFI?

Hi there
I am 50 and it never occurred to me that this might no be a good business for me to start with because of my age.
Your question made me think about this and I think it has nothing to do with your age - if you are 50+ and happy with the state of your finances nothing will convince you to spend time on a business you do not really need (unfortunately there are very few people that has that luxury).
Anybody of any age can benefit from SFI - if you want to improve your finances and the quality of the life you are living - give it a go, you've got nothing to loose and much to gain from it.
So, I would say - forget about your age - the question should be - Do you want to make money?

What would be a good way to hold offline classes or seminars to train my PSAs about SFI and TripleClicks?

If you have PSA's within reach it is a wonderful opportunity to build a strong team if you get them together - but make sure you do not do it too often - it has to be an event they are always looking forward to. For instance - once a month would work for somebody like me - but once a week would be too much.
Variety is essential - you can do workshops where everybody can actively participate and they can exchange ideas. Another good way would be to keep your eyes on your PSA's and if you see one of them is doing very well in one area you invite him or her to lead a class and teach the others about that specific thing.
You might find at some stage that your team is losing enthusiasm and interest - that would be a good time to find a success story and do a motivational session.
Talk to your team, find out what they want to talk about and concentrate on that - if they feel like they are part of it all and what they say and feel matters they are more likely to attend.
A more informal / social get together will also be more likely to be well attended - you want to build a strong team that wants to help each other to succeed because they feel like friends or family - so they would not like to just give up and drop the team. They will have each other for support during those times that they feel they are not getting anywhere.
I think you will have great success if you approach this right. Have fun.

What do you mean no success? Sit back and take a look at your journey with SFI. Did you make EA? Did you spend any of your own money? Did you win t-credits or VP in the draw?
Progress is not necessary reaching your goals - you might've done what I did when I first joined - set your goals too high. Now that you know what it takes to succeed - re-think your goals and adjust them.
Look at everything you achieved - that is success. Maybe you are just too hard on yourself or maybe you should change your strategy. If you do something and it does not work out the way you wanted it, it means you have to do it different.
You are no fool - a fool would've given up long ago. If you want different results you can not do the same thing over and over again. Change your actions and change the outcome / result.
Good luck and do not give up now.

I have a Fast-Track lapel pin. How best to use it to attract sign-ups into SFI?

Hi there
That lapel pin is a great way to attract new affiliates.
Make sure you wear it every single day in a place like your collar where it will be clearly visible. People will notice it and human nature predict that they will be curious and ask you about it. When they ask - even if it is a total stranger, do not be shy to tell them.
For Example: I have an online marketing business and this is a reward I earned for reaching a milestone. Then you can tell them what you had to do to earn the badge.
In most cases they will ask more questions - which you then answer with great enthusiasm. When they ask more questions than just the 1st one it means they are interested. You can give them your card with your Join my team link (or any of your links you prefer) on. If you have gift certificates or cards you can also give them that and invite them to redeem it at Triple Clicks to play games or to bid on a product they like. If they redeem the gift certificate chances are good that they will sign up. While they are there they might see something they love and want - so what do they do? they buy more T-credits to carry on bidding. If they spend money you earn commission.
Hope this is enough explaining. It really is like a focus point painting or a piece of jewellery - it will get people's attention - and what is it you need? Yes!! Attention so you can turn on the charm and get them to want that badge too.

How many affiliates do I need to sponsor each month to build a successful business?

I think the question is not how many you need to sponsor, it is how many active affiliates you need to sponsor.
I got 12 new affiliates last month. 9 of them signed up and without doing one single thing and earning 0 VP they just never came back. 3 of them signed up, earned 150 VP immediately and they were gone. So how many active affiliates did I get last month? 0
I send a welcome e-card the moment I receive notification that I have a new affiliate. Then I send a special welcome letter to introduce myself, give them my e-mail address and to give them a few start up tips. Still they just do not react.
Until we figure out how to get every sign up to be active I would say you have to sponsor as many as you can. As for myself - if I have 5 active affiliates and I know they won't quit I will support them like kings and queens until they are diamond leaders. At that point I will decide if I am gong to retire or am I going to start with 5 new affiliates. (nice to dream, isn't it?)

How do you convince someone that they can earn a substantial income with SFI?
, Aff ()

Affiliate since: 12/31/1969, Power Rank: 99999999
The danger in trying to convince somebody they can earn a substantial income lies in interpretation and false advertising.
You might give them the impression they will start making the big bucks from the word go or that they can sit back and watch the money roll in.
Your best policy is always honesty.
The more time and effort you put in the more money you make,
If you treat your SFI business as any other physical business and work hard, smart and with passion you can build a very successful business with all the support you need for free.
If you are honest and tell them they have to work hard you will attract a more serious, determined affiliate.
