Personal growth and development is hard to define with only one answer.

I have found over the years that there are bascially 2 elements that need to be in place in order to grow professionally and personally and these 2 elements also benefit me as an affiliate with SFI:

1. Read a variety of books, articles and social media postings on the topic of leadership, branding, entrepreneurship, business, marketing, and anything else that may be of interest to you personally so that you can incorporate what resontaes with you into your life - personal and business;

2. Assoicate with those that have skills, knowledge, and character traits that you wish/want to develop in yourself. Review of your associations is key to personal growth and challenging yourself to become the best that you can be in leadership. Associations either will challenge you to stretch yourself to be better tomorrow than today or they will accept you for who you are thus lead without transformation in self.

I have found these 2 elements critical in not only my leadership development but also in personal development. We are humans and we are made up of so many desires, wants and wishes so it is important to develop oursevles as a "whole person" and not just "an area of improvement". The more we work on our lack in skills to become a strength in skills through reading and assocaitions - there is no limit as to what you can do while leading yourself and the people who wish to follow you.

Most of us work really, really hard to make good things happen in life. It appears from your question posted on ASK SC you have experienced the same - putting forth hard work to achieve success and yet you have not found it yet.

I would suggest to do the following:

Put all your efforts - what you have done, on paper. Write down what you are doing every day, every week, and every month.

On another piece of paper, write down your goal as to why you joined SFI - what were you hoping from your affiliate membership with SFI.

After you write these take the time to compare and see if your actions are truly doing what your goal is. Often affiliates will run their business as auto-pilot thinking that the business will take care of itself. This is not the case. SFI is a business and as you know, it needs to be managed as a business.

Your action list compared to your goal list should fit each other like a glove on a hand. Success is never achieved when the action list does not match the goal/s list.

All that needs to happen is to keep the business actions that match your goal, tweak the business actions that almost match the goal/s list and completely remove the business actions that do not match the goal/s list at all.

By doing this, you will keep yourself on track. This should be done as often as you can - preferably once per week. The more regular your check-in process to review your actions for alignment with your goals the easier it will be to catch yourself when you are off by a little.

it is the little stuff that does add up - all success simply is the accumulation of things that are said and done. When all your sayings and actions are aligned to your goal- you will see exceptional growth.

Book yourself a half day to review what you have been doing and also ask another fellow business person to review your list to verify your accurate self-reflection.

This will be a challenge to you but in the long run you will be a better and stronger business owner with SFI.

I don't think you will have one way to approach this concern.

No one can control what other people will decide in the long run but you can lead people to make healthier decisions by the way you engage with them. Share with your down line members the experiences you are having. Get to know your down line members so they become to you more than just down line members but people who work with you.

Being authentic as a leader will help others to see the genuine role you wish to have in their lives and not just wanting a relationship with their wallets.

SFI is a business built on relationships so the stronger your relationship with down line members the stronger your team will be together thus people will not be swayed to look the other way as there is an authentic relationship bond with your down line members.

I absolutely support promoting the ECA program to businesses who are not currently on-line or use the internet.

The SFI ECA program takes the confusion out of how to set up an on-line presence. The ECA program for these type of businesses will help them increase awareness of their products and fellow affiliates can help to market their products at a lesser cost than hiring a marketing company to do for them.

The benefits that the ECA program for businesses who are not yet on-line are endless.

The TripleClicks store has over 1.5 million members so the more products we introduce to TC store members that are not available else where on-line will encourage repeat customer service as customers will have confidence that products are not available else where so will not doubt their purchasing power.

Absolutely introduce the ECA program to off-line companies. They can purchase a 1-time certificate through TC to start the process to join this unique program.

Time management is, in my opinion, one of the most difficult things that business owners have to do.

As SFI owners we are constantly considering what needs to be done every day to promote our business, support downline members and support the general needs of SFI to become bigger and better.

I have undertaken the following to assist with my time management:

Every Sunday I take no more than 60 minutes to prepare my SFI work schedule for the up-coming week. As I schedule, I review my previous week's activity to see what couyld have been done better or what strategy was not used. Marketing, mentoring, sales et al needs to be done every week but you are the one who set's the priority for the day. If the previous week's activity did not promote the ECA program then this should be come your focus for the up-coming week. If your goal for the month is to increase the number of PSA's you have then focus efforts during the week to make this your priority. I have found it helpful to only focus on 3 domains each week. More than 3 becomes confusing and causes stress because you start to no longer focus but attempt to undertake multi-tasking and only devote a few minutes to each area of need thus causing results to be nil to nothing.

Actions to focus on are the ones that will help you to achieve your goal.

Actions that are focused will move you forward and the actions you do every day, once a week, once per month that are aligned to your goals will transform your business from being mediocre to being the best.

Example of aligning your Actions to your goal:

Goal = Improve my Standard of Living
Action/s= performing acts that will. Earn you a high return in VP's and money that you can use toward improving your Standard of Living such as getting a new house, new car or helping to get medical services.

Goal: Get out of debt
Actions: focus on recruitment of downline members and ECA program members and promoting sales of TripleClick products that will benefit others. Having a team working with you improves your chances to make more sales, widen your sales area and creative business marketing programs.

Your Actions become more meaningful when they are deliberate and aligned to what you're focused on.

It is important to share your purpose with your sponsor and ask for specific information that you know will assist with your business growth.

Sponsors can be focused on other things so getting a friendly reminder that you're interested in going further - go and tell him or her.

Include your sponsor with your TeamMail messages that you send to down line team members. Don't be shy to respond to posts that he or she makes and review forum posts that your sponsor prepares.

Showing interest in your sponsor will then have him or her draw interest in your efforts too.

When I read this question, the first thing that I immediately thought of is how well does leadership practice show congruence with words and actions.

This simply means that a leader will say with spoken words and/or typed will need to be the same as what is performed...."talk the walk".

If actions are not the same as what is stated then it is hard to trust anyone even a leader.

So I personally believe trust is built on how well a person/leader is aligned with the things that are said and things that are done. When these two behaviours are the same then people will trust the leader.

I like your question as it asks how each of us promote SFI in our own way or in our own style.

I think even that affiliates may use the strategies that SFI share with all affiliates we each have a different approach to make us unique.

Strategies that I have used is leave small sized flyers promoting product or business ownership at coffee shops, library's and even at job lines. Now with camping season, I leave product information at laundromats to share with other the natural products that SFI has to offer to promote environmentally safe choices.

I know that I am different because I choose to focus on "why would people want to become part of the SFI team". I do not focus on product nor do I focus on the money...my focus is serving more people.

I do not know if this answers your question but what you asked is an excellent question and I look forward to reading more responses from fellow affiliates.
