Is it better to provide prospects with only a brief overview of what SFI is about...or more lengthly, detailed information?

The amount of information that you share with prospects will depend on the prospect.
Everyone is different - some people will research for a long time before they go out to make the purchase of a product. For this person, it is advantageous to provide more information about SFI but follow their lead by what they want to know.
Some people will simply make a decision to purchase a product and will go out and make the purchase quickly. For this person, it is advantageous to provide an overview of what SFI is about and not overwhelm them with details.
I find that when discussing SFI with prospects it is important to listen to what he/she expresses so your comments about SFI matches what they are wanting to know.

How do you convince someone that they can earn a substantial income with SFI?

Efforts with a business is all about "selling" what you have to offer. SFI is a big package of so much to offer each prospect that it can become quite difficult to have others believe in what SFI can do for him or her.
From my experience, it is important to simply "listen" to why the person you are explaining SFI to is not accepting what SFI is all about. LISTENING is a key skill that is necessary to use as an entrepreneur. "Listening" will enable you to UDERSTAND what creates fear in the person to be convinced to join SFI.
To convince anyone about anything requires you to "understand" that person's belief system about money, owning a business, being an entrepreneur and even what values they may have which may keep them from joining SFI.
Once you understand what they believe you then can proceed with correcting any beliefs which are not proven and show them the TRUTH about what SFI can do him or her. Share a story from your own experience or even share a story from another affiliate to show how anyone can become a success with SFI.
To convince means the effort is on your behalf to show, be and do to prove that SFI is a business that is open to anyone of any background of any educational experience.
To convince means to not only share statistics and facts with the people you talk with about SFI but also show the benefits that he or she can gain from having SFI in their life. SFI also provides not only comfort to the bank account but also provides comfort on an emotional level too. People not only want to hear the facts but also want to see the emotional benefits too.
Happy Convincing!

Are there any shortcuts to success in SFI for new affiliates?

The only short cut I can think of is simply following the suggestion of SFI to have affiliates duplicate what has been succeessful.
This is key...duplication, doing the same as another affiilate. It is important for any affiliate to share what has worked and even what has not worked so that downline affiliates, new afffiliates do not make the same mistakes as previous affiliates have done but only do perform the beneficial business habits to become successful.
SFI is the joint effort of everyone of us and SFI is here due to the successful habits that we all bring to this organziation so let's share our best business practice with others and see them grow in prosperity too!

S-builder is a great tool for any affiliate to use towards their team building size.
S-builder is an excellent resource for anyone to help with using on-line marketing to build size.
I appreciate the fact that SBUILDER may be used as a monthly purchase as part of the Standing Order.
S-builder also provides opportunity to share costs of each unit with downline members to provide them an opportunity to build a larger team meanwhile afford to build without feeling financial stress.
Introduction of the product may include the benefits listed above or may high-light the personal benefits you have received from your ownership of s-builder units as well.

What is the best way to become a Team Leader?

Affiliate since: 12/31/1969, Power Rank: 99999999
To become a Team Leader status - I have found it to be beneficial to model or do what you say. When you do what you say - you become a model for others to want to be around based on honesty and integrity.
Leaders are only able to lead others once he/she is able to lead self effectively. Leading your self first will show others that you have challenges and yet have found ways to over come challenges.
When you have the above traits, I find that people will gravitate to you thus creating a team for you to lead.
SFI team creation is based on the same concept - inorder to maintain Team Leader status every month you will most definitely need to model what you want downline members to do such as but not limited to monthly membership to IAHBE, minimum purchase of 1 S-Builder unit, purchase items through TripleClicks and share what you know with others.
Modelling is the best policy when wanting to reach Team Leader status.

How can I motivate and inspire my team using my SFI Leadership Page?

Use of your Leadership Page to inspire, motivate and encourage others is a great use of the page.
Share items on the blog portion of your Leadership page which have happened to you personally or use it to share tips that you personally use in your business or even share things that you may have found to be a challenge but over came.
Inspiration is simply motivating others to action. This is best done when what you share is real and true.
In all your TeamMail messages or general e-mail list your page URL at the bottom as part of your signature so you continuously spread your SFI blog to others.

Is it wise to 'bribe' your downline with Gift Certificates, TCredits or other incentives? Or does this practice come back and bite you?

I suppose gifting a Gift Certificate or T-Credits may be viewed upon as a "bribe" but I consider such acts as a way to show you want to help others with their SFI business.
I would not see the practice of "gifting" as having a negative outcome for you unless you are truly "bribing" people. A bribe basically is only benefiting the one who gives it. So when using Gift Certificates or T-Credits as a means of "bribery" this would not be the case as these two items truly benefits those who receive them.
These two items enable receivers to purchase products from the TripleClicks on-line store, enables them to participate more with SFI events which enables he or she to have a stronger presence on SFI.
Gifting items as part of your practice basically benefits the end user directly. You may have benefits from such activity but would be indirect.
Keep on giving as the more you give the more you shall receive - this is not negative at all. Excellent!

What's the best way to gain the attention of Second Home CSAs and get them active again?

Focus your efforts on getting to know your Second Home CSA's.
Ask them what they have found effective support for their needs and what was not helpful.
These CSA's have experience with other teams so that knowledge needs to be acknowledged so you can be better positioned to find out who he or she is and what they want to achieve by being an affiliate with SFI.
You spend time not on but with Second Home CSA's you will instill healthy action.
What is the benefit of receiving non-active, re-assigned affiliates (PSAs) from your upline?

Receiving a re-assigned affiliate from your up-line is a great way to add to your down-line.
Becoming the re-assigned affiliate's team leader provides you the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and create new relationships. A new relationship may be all that the re-assigned affiliate will need to become active. How you may lead a team may not be the exact same way that your up-line member leads their downline so it is healthy to change membership around so as to find a way to keep everyone interested in SFI and to find with whom that re-assigned affiliate may connect with to become active.
In summary when you receive a re-assigned affiliate the following will happen: it promotes growth of your team, encourages you to develop leadership skills, and may just be the change which re-ignites the spark in the affiliate to become active.

The "best" way to earn Versa Points is simply the way or more than one way that you are really comfortable and good at earning your Versa Points.
SFI offers many different ways to earn your monthly points so you can decide to use 1 method or all.
It is dependent on what you're comfortable working with.
The more diverse with your VP earning methods the larger and quicker your count of VP's will become.
Be aware of your strengths and use these to leverage your SFI business to earn the most you can each month.
