I wish to simply state that for anyone to become a great salesman/saleswoman is to surround yourself with people who you consider to be leaders in the field of sales or on-line marketing.
The more you connect with individuals who are successful in the area of Sales, by default you will learn strategies, habits, and what not to do from them.
SFI offers opportunity for each affiliate to connect with other SFI affiliates through A2A, SFI Forum Posts, or even reading posts through ASK SC and don't forget the posts that we receive from Gery too.
Seek out those that have or are in a state that you want to be in and connect with them.

How many affiliates do I need to sponsor each month to build a successful business?

This requires some review on your part as each affiliate will determine what successful business means to them.
Nevertheless, affiliates are given an idea or structure of what success can turn into. Use the following link for not only yourself but to share with down line members to see the potential when recruitment starts with a solid 5 members in your down line.
Priceless information

Agreed with your comment about building each month. First phase of development is creating your own team then the second phase is to model and coach down line leaders to develop their teams.
Your role is priceless in the success of your business. Be sure you're up to date with who are your main lead players and support them each day to be their best...this is how your business will grow and flourish.

Safe-lists. What makes one better than another?

The benefit of using a safe-list is they can assist with you growing your list of leads. The use of safe-lists does require that you do a little review to be sure that the Safe-list does do what you need it to do.
Safelists can definitely work. Don't expect a miracle, though. The best thing you can do in your business is to build your own mailing list of clients who will grow to trust you and stay with you. Don't use safelists as a substitute. Nothing is more effective than promoting to your own list; to people who have signed up to receive emails from YOU specifically.

How do I put together a successful marketing campaign?

Marketing campaigns come in 2 designs: one design focuses on what you have to offer, the other design is based on why you offer a product or service.
These two designs are useful but are used for different reasons for different results.
The first design is primarily focused on what is being offered. If you focus on this "product or service" you will more than likely need to consider "who your target audience is. When there is a focus on the "what" you offer there is simply just a purchase made by customers.
The second design for marketing is the "why" you offer a service or product. This appeals to the emotional part of the purchase and therefore creates a connection to the buyer more than simply making a purchase.
A marketing design will simply be an outward expression of what you wish to achieve. Both are effective ways to sell so you need to consider what your personal purpose to marketing is.

How can I provide positive but CONSTRUCTIVE criticism in my emails to my downline?

Giving input to downline members is part of team effort.
It is important to make comments specific to what you notice that may require more attention or improvement. The more specific the better as then comments can be incorporated easily without confusion.
I have learned from my experience that using words such as "what" or "how" promote engagement. Never use the word "why" as this can have people become defensive and cause them to disengage from having dialogue about their business habits and business goals with you.

I have planned a local get-together for A2A affiliates. Any suggestions on what to do at the meeting?
, Aff ()

Before the meeting try to send out a quick survey to see what topics are of interest to A2A members regarding their SFI business. Once you receive the survey back you may see a common topic expressed, thus can use the common interest topic as your purpose to get together.
This gathering may just be a Social Mixer for people to gather and get to know one another and share strategies with each other without structure.
A meeting can be structured with an agenda focus or just let the socializing occur naturally.

How can membership in a social site like Linkedin help me build my SFI business?

Social Media sites are an excellent way to advertise what you are doing with SFI. You can use these sites to promote recruitment programs, share the deals of the day from the TripleClicks store and use the social media site to network with others who are looking for on-line opportunities.
An excellent feature of social media is that it can help to connect with a wide range of people with different interests. This adds value to your business when there are a variety of people with different interests.

When a team member asks a question, and you don't know the answer, how can you get them the best and correct answer?

I typically will seek out the answer, even if I don't know it, then respond to the PSA with details on how I came to find the answer so that they may help themselves in the future. Detailing my actions also becomes a mini-lesson for members to share with their downline members too.
I will reference SFI Launch Pad lessons, Forum Posts, ASK SC posts, review SFI Marketing information and Training articles too.
What are the best facts, stories, and figures you can share with friends and family to gain their trust and get them enrolled in SFI?

Tailor fit your stories to each of these individual interests.
Example: If they want to know about sustainability of the company then share information about SFI's length of time in service and having BBB status
Example: Product quality can be shared through showing testimonies of products through your website.
Example: Income potential - share the SFI Income Calculator
You simply need to prepare a story or comment which will answer what each person is wanting to know.

Which will help me the most in becoming successful in SFI--sponsoring affiliates or referring TripleClicks members?

When I read this question, I recalled a quote that my grandmother would always say, "Don't put all your eggs in one basket".
In my opinion, becoming succesful in SFI requires more than one approach so sponsoring PSA's, sponsoring CSA's, referring TripleClicks members are all great approaches to become successful.
If you only focus on one stream or strategy for growth, it will be a slow process but if you are able to focus your energies to use more than one approach your growth will be faster and you will become successful with SFI.
I encourage everyone (even myself) to review the four things that are needed to be done to succeed in SFI listed under the SFI Basics tab: 1. Start earning money by accumulating VersaPoints; 2. Increase your earnings by generating sales at TripleClicks.com; 3. Maximize your income with sponsoring and duplication; & 4. Add supplemental income streams (optional)
Enjoy your journey to becoming successful in SFI.
Enjoy
