Anyone who is an affiliate can become a Team Leader no matter their skills, knowledge or aptitude.
You bring up a good question which has been around forever - is leadership a born-with trait or a learned trait.
To answer that I leadership requires both - what you're born with and what you learn.
Leadership simply is a description of what people do, how they do it and why they do it successfully. This is not based on a job title but leadership is a purposeful function within a team of people.
Affiliates can become TL - SFI has given all the opportunity to enhance our skills to climb from EA status to EA2, BTL, STL, GTL and PTL. Each successive TL title is a great incentive to everyone to be their best, give their best, and repeat the best.
Leadership may not be a natural skill for everyone so it is important to realize that personal development is needed inorder to be a good Team leader. SFI provides so much to all of us that there is room for everyone at the top to be Team Leaders. We are given training articles, professional and personal development books to read, and even the Forum to connect with others to help us grow into Team Leaders.
With SFI - it is a position that everyone grows into not a birth right. We are in this all together so learn what traits make a good leader and learn what does not work too - you will then create your own way to be the best of the best in the leadership team.

Be honest with the individual - share with them your reasons on why you see SFI being a great match to their needs.
People only participate in things when their needs will be met. So you should be clear with the 50 year old individual about what you see as a need that is met by joining SFI.
When a need is met then you will see a member for life!
What should I do when I receive inactive CSAs?

Inactivity is another way of stating that "no action yet" on behalf of an affiliate.
Affiliates reassigned is simply another way for people to share resources and to enable others to develop their leadership skills.
An affiliate may not be as motivated nor active due to the leadership style that their team leader may use on a regular basis. You receive down-line members possibly due to the leadership skills that you share with others and are perceived as a better fit leader for down-line members who happen to be inactive at the current moment.
No matter the level of activity that your down-line members have done in the past, this does not mean that it will not change. Down-line members may change to become active due to a change in leadership/guidance.
Enjoy guiding and leading your new team members.

You can encourage local ECA's to list products by reviewing how posting items with the TripleClicks can assist them.
Posting on TripleClicks will support the local business ownner to not only sell products to local buyers but also have a part in the global econonmy. The use of Tripleclicks is by a membership pool which also is a benefit to merchants enrolled in the ECA program with TripleClicks.
TripleClicks is owned by SFI so those who are enrolled in the ECA program have support from SFI. Merchants who are part of the ECA program become part of the support network that SFI offers to everyone which is an excellent resource to merchants.
SFI, for those who are enrolled in the ECA program, provide all merchants supports and resources which are endless.
Encouragent for local merchants to join the SFI ECA program is best to be focused on taking the fear out of enrolling with the program with SFI - TripleClicks store.

This is a great question.
Honesty is the best policy. Be transparent in your dealings with your PSA's about your level of experience with SFI but be willing to openly share with your PSA's the passion and other skills that you have that you are willing to offer to them to become successful.
Owning and running a business requires many skills and so simply doing an inventory skill review of yourself to see what you can offer others in your down-line while you are building your knowledge about SFI will be showing them that you're authentic as a leader and as a sponsor you are here to serve them to become better in their business.
Growing together is a strength of in it's self.

SFI is built through efforts of everyone. Down line members assist with not only your success but the success of SFI and all the various services it has to offer.
To build a successful business, it is important to look at what you have to offer others so that you may provide them, such as your down line members, a service to help them become a success with SFI. Your services will also serve others.
Ziglar stated it best when he said "you will get what you want by helping others get what they want."
No one can control the behaviours of customers but owners of SFI can control responses to prospective customers - offer your assistance to provide a service and see how not only your business grow but others too.

How can I get my affiliates to see the benefits of playing games like Knockout Trivia so they will play them?

The only way you have other affiliates try the games such as Knockout Trivia is to play the game too.
When you play the games, you will be in a better position to comment and share strategies that you have come to use on a regular basis. You model the behaviour others will surely follow.
It is also important to consider the benefits that you personally receive from playing the games that SFI has to offer - winnings, earn a VP for each answer submitted, and just simply having fun to see what answer is the correct answer.
It would be helpful for affiliates to read comments from other affiliates who play the games so they can read for themselves through the SFI Forum or even from postings in the A2A community about such events. The more that an affiliate knows about the games the more likely he or she will play an a regular basis.
I do believe that we all need a little fun in our lives - even as an entrepreneur so it is important to encourage affiliates to "live a little, laugh a little" too.

How is building a second income with a company like SFI beneficial to me?

Being a business owner is always exciting. Having the privileged to be part of SFI is beneficial to every affiliate.
You ask a great question.
SFI provides the opportunity to create a second income as you can work this line of business whenever you want. The benefit of this is self explanatory - you run the business, it does not run you.
Having a team of fellow affiliates - PSA or CSA's working as you do creates a world wide network of people working towards the same goal. The benefit you gain from this design of networking is that you are earning an income every hour of every day even when you are asleep...another part of the world is day and your part is night - everyone works!
SFI provides in-business networking opportunities for free. SFI provides all affiliates to join ASK SC, A2A and the SFI Forum. These resources are a huge benefit as there is a wealth of knowledge contained in these resources to assist with your SFI business. The huge gain is that all of these resources are free for use - you simply have to sign up for them.
With SFI at your side, you never have to be concerned about the economy as local economy may have some difficulties but other parts of the world do not so that means you benefit from running a world wide on-line business.
The last point I wish to share is that joining SFI is free - you don't have to put money into SFI in order to participate. All the marketing resources are available to each affiliate - Team Leadership Page, Blog site, and other marketing tools such as banners.
There are many benefits to joining SFI so the only way that anyone can know how you will personally benefit is by having a conversation about what your goals are and what you want out of life. Once you have these identified, you will surely see how SFI fits in your long term plans.

What encouragement can I give to an affiliate who feels he or she is getting nowhere with SFI?
, Aff ()

It is important to acknowledge that an affiliate may feel or perceive that he or she is getting no-where with their efforts with SFI.
Once you acknowledge their feelings then the next step is to review with them "why" he or she joined SFI. This is a voluntary process and it is important that you offer your time to review their purpose for becoming an SFI affiliate and then compare their purpose with their daily/monthly/yearly goals or actions.
The alignment of the affiliate's actions and thoughts with their goals or purpose is important...when there is alignment there is clarity for their SFI business. Clarity is for self therefore growth and success will be seen.
Encouragement is to be provided for the small steps that he or she has taken so far as each step no matter the size does get you that much more closer to reaching the top.
Remind them that "no-where" is no different than "now-here" except for how you look at the letters "nowhere".
Owning a business is hard work and yet the rewards are priceless.
