Start it with having a proper mindset because that is one of the qualities of being an effective leader. It is like a Law of Attraction that everything you think will happen to you. If you think positively, positive things will come to you and the same one to the negative things as well.

If having a proper mindset is not easy for you, I suggest that every morning upon waking up, read at least one short positive quote. Go to google and type in the search box any of the following words: motivational quotes, success quotes, or inspirational quotes. Choose just only one and apply it throughout the day. Aside from a short positive quote, you must also watch videos from youtube (use the keywords I mentioned awhile ago) and read e-books that will uplift your spirit. Hint: TripleClicks has lot of those.

As for the lack of experience, you do not need to worry for that. As an SFI member, we are so lucky that we have unlimited training materials that we can read and re-read anytime we want. Not only that, we have the Ask SC and the Forums on where you can get to read the ideas, insights, and suggestions from each members. If reading those seems overwhelming for you, read at least one topic at a time.

I agree with you about what you said on Facebook. There are too many online ads out there and it happens they are just the same. I still advertise my SFI business there but only rarely. If you want to advertise outside of Facebook, I would suggest the following:

1. Traffic Exchanges
-You need to view other people's site before they view yours. The more sites you viewed, the more hits you are going to receive. For me the best ratio is 1:1 because one view is equal to one hits.

2. Safelists
-You are going to send an e-mail to some people who are interested in your offer. Do not worry about your e-mails being classified as spams because you can actually personalize all your e-mails that you are going to send when using a safelists.

3. Blogging
-Gives you a personal touch about your business. You can tell them the following:

a. why they should join your business

b. your experiences especially those ups and downs

c. your opinions about the latest news of your business

Personally, I would like to suggest to start with blogging first and then advertise them on your desired advertising sites. Why? When you advertise your business and you just gave them your gateways, there is a possibility that they might ignore it because they are going to think it is too standard or general. You need to stand out and having a blog is one of the ways to do that.

If you want to promote TripleClicks products for Easter, I would suggest that you use your TripleClicks gateway and use the word "Easter" in your advertisement. For example, "Are you looking for an Easter gift you are going to give? Then shop at TripleClicks." Alternatively, choose any products that you believe would be a perfect Easter gift and promote them. If you want your affiliate to turn their mentality from being an employee to a business owner, the only advice I can give is: Do not force them. Let them be the one to realize that being in a business is better than being in an office. Let them be the one to say, “This is what I really want. I want to do this.” All you have to do is just tell them the benefits about having your own business. Much better, be personal by telling them your own story just like what I did.

For example:

Being in an online marketing business is totally unexpected for me especially I had zero experience when it comes to that. While I was still in college, I had always thought I would work in a corporate office or at a well-known call center company. Well, it did not happen. Instead, I worked at a small call center company but only for a short time and also at an office just near our place but my experience was, well, not good. I discovered about working from home while I was searching for a job, gave it a try, and until now I am still here and still enjoying it.

I fell in love with this business because of the benefits like having your own time and being your own boss. Those thing you cannot do while you were an employee. For example, as an employee, you need to be at the office by eight in the morning, if not, you would either be suspended or fired. If you are doing your own business at home, you can start anytime you want. It can be late in the morning, afternoon, or even in the morning. Another example would be, you are working under the orders of the boss when you were an employee. You need to do what they tell you whether you like it or not. If you are working at your own home, you do not have to worry about someone telling you to do this and that. Also, if you were an employee, you were only earning a minimum income. Oftentimes, it is not enough for you and your family. If you have your own business, you can earn as much as you want.

So, there. Just give them time. You cannot change their mind overnight.

Stream messages are like your Facebook or Twitter status updates. You just have to post any short messages since the character is limited to 340 only. My suggestions would be:

1. Post reminders about what they should be doing in SFI from time to time. For example: we should set our goal by the 10th of the month for 5 VP, tell them about that and they should do it before the 10th.

2. Did you just learn something new that would benefit to your SFI business and also to your team? Post it right away!

3. Have you read anything at the forum that interests you? Share the link to them.

4. Got an achievement or idea? Tell them about it.

5. And lastly, tell them the latest SFI news because it is important for us members to be updated.

Just a little reminder, do not post all of these at once or else they will be overwhelmed. Besides, SFI suggests us to post every 3 days interval but it is up to you how much you want it. If you post a reminder today, post a tip on the following day, and so forth.

As for me, I do not convince an affiliate to restart at SFI again. If they do not want to come back to SFI, I let them be. Do not get me wrong with that. I understand that this business is not meant for everybody, so it is not your loss if they suddenly abandon their SFI business. Besides, there are other people who is still interested in this business and you must concentrate on that.

If you really want them to get back again, never ever bombard them with countless emails, texts messages, private messages, etc. telling them what you really want. It would be annoying for them and you would also sound too desperate. The only thing you can do is to motivate them by showing what you are doing. Just continue working and if they see your progress, eventually they will naturally come back to you and start working with you again.

Being an SFI affiliate means everything you do is purely online. If you want to sell an item, all you have to do is just go to their online store, TripleClicks, be an ECA and list your items there.

On the other hand, traditional business is the one you see daily outside. There are so many requirements when setting up a traditional business like finding the right place, preparing the documents such as business permits, and hiring employers.

I would have to say that being an SFI affiliate is much better because it is less compliated than the traditional one. But it is up to you to decide whether you want to be an SFI affiliate, to have a traditional business, or both.
