I have many affiliates in my genealogy that haven't been active for weeks. Should I just ignore them?

No you shouldn't. They may eventually become very active, if you give them good enough reason to. Keep in contact with them and try to connect. Sometimes they are just looking for a bit of reassurance that SFI isn't a scam, or that you just want them to earn vp so you can earn more. Therefore, you must show that you care about them and their success. E-mail them with your weekly newsletter. Try to get them re-engaged.

I have a large downline, but few are advertising SFI. How can I get them to start advertising and marketing SFI?

It might be that they don't know how to advertize. Send them Team Mail with lessons on how to properly advertize. A lot of us didn't know how to advertize when when joined SFI. Even if that isn't the problem, just the fact that you are teaching it may be enough to motivate them. After all, you are showing them how important it is to you and their success. If you haven't already done so, start an advertizing Co-Op with the ones that show interest in it. You get 100vp for doing so, and it helps

Now that I have qualified for the level of EA what do I need to do to advance to Team Leader?

First of all, make sure that you have your leadership page up to date. If it isn't kept up to date, none of the rest of this will matter. Secondly, make sure that you have at least 1,500vp worth of either sales or purchases from tripleclicks. I always like to buy T-credits and use them to bid in auctions. Thats one vp per bid up to 500vp. At least once a week, use the PSA/CSA mailer in geneology to mail your downline. When you make purchases, you also will earn 25vp per new purchase for rating

How can I get more of my affiliates to upgrade to EA?

In order to get an affiliate to upgrade to EA, you first have to get them to believe that what you are saying to them is from genuine concern for them. Otherwise, they will turn you off as they believe that you are simply trying to boost your own check. Once you have their confidence, then you can point out the benifits of becoming an EA or even a team leader.

I am online at the Affiliate Center and see that someone just signed up under my link and is online too. What should I do?

First thing you should do is welcome him to your team. Greet them by name and make them feel welcome. Secondly, make sure that you offer to help them build their business. Give them your contact information so they can ask for assistance. Then, ask them if there are any questions, or if they are having any problems so far. Finally, close with your signature, rank, ie: EA, BTL, and e-mail, and phone number if you are comfortable giving that out. Add a PS. wishing them luck in the E-365 and again

I have affiliates who are inactive. Is it a good idea or bad idea to reassign them to my active affiliates?

I did that once, and now both are inactive. I had thought that giving the potential team leader a downline to work with would encourage him, but when the person I reassigned to stayed inactive it discouraged him. And I also discouraged the person I reassigned.
My advice would be to keep working with the inactive affiliate. Keep sending them regular team mail encouraging them. Try to build them into a active contributing SFI member. In the interim, reassign a more active affiliate. They
