Depending on the number of people you need to contact. I found with 100 and up Genealogy is the best way to contact, then if you need to contact under you personal email will do for less than 10.

I would tell them that starting a business takes time and determination. With hard work and over time they will see results.

9 out of 10 times that is what they are looking for a get-rich-scheme. If they would stop and read the first launch pad it states that this is a business. So with a business it take work and sometimes hard work to see it's success. What they don't understand is that they are working on commission, and not a weekly pay check. Even I came across some of those pay sites were I'm clicking 25 ads for pennies and I'm lucky to make $2.00 at the end of the month. Then collecting $25.00 over a period

Drop them an e-card introducing your site. From there, they will eventually go to the site. If not, then they weren't interested to begin with. Your support of the site and excitement is all that is needed.

Let them know that SFI has a step-by-step guide and Support sections on everything they need to know. The Support tab is all they will need. The New Ask SC index is also helpful.

You don't need to use your email. The "Power Tools" Tab on your home page, has it set up so you can mail your Affiliates by using the PSA and CSA mail system. This prevents spamming and the Affiliate will have it in their email, on the home page, once they sign on.

I have many affiliates in my genealogy that haven't been active for weeks. Should I just ignore them?

I had one today that didn't know where to start and told me so, so I had to lead him in the right direction. So some times all it takes is a little initiative on our part to connect to the person.

Do you reward your active CSAs the same as you reward your active PSAs? If not, how do you reward them?

PSA's and CSA's should be treated as equally as they do the same job equally. It's a treat to get CSA's we don't have to work hard for them as we do PSA. Still they gives us the same gifts and if they stay with us their loyalty. So Yes I treat them with the same respect.
