Sorry, but I don't understand your question. Do you need information for yourself, or to find a way to attract others?
I hope that you already know reasons, because you are a member.Every person has to find their own reasons to become an SFI Affiliate, and, what is more important, reasons to stay in this business.
They are obvious if a person starts searching through SFI Homepage. You are attracted or not. If you are attracted, you stay. If you're not, no one can force you.

I think that the answer on this question is up to you. And I'm sure that you, if ask this question, know you are in the right place.
I am in this business for a year, before I started and even after that I searched through Internet and bumped upon many Internet offers and opportunities, but - no one among them attracted me more than SFI, and also weren't as interested or well organised as SFI. This is the only one which keep my attention and make me logging every day.
So, due to my experience, I really think that this is the best organised, motivated and perspective job among the bunch of them in Internet. Success is not very fast, but it's guaranted.
If you want to search more, search, but many people in SFI will probably think the same.

Your task is not to convince affiliates to log every day. Your task is to support them, give help them, courage them and be their guide.
If they are serious in their attentions to do this job, they will find out that everyday logging is necessary.
If you don't log every day, you can't make progress, and this is one of the first things that you should understand.
Tell them this, and, if they are serious, they will accept it.

Any blog is personal, so it is recommended that, if you make a blog, put personal content, to put your own ideas. Find inspiration for making a blog into yourself.
Also, you can find interesting ideas in Marketing Aids tab, use it and add your own thoughts. The more blogs you make, the more you get addicted to it, and also you will have more success. It's interesting and creative! Good luck!

LaunchPad lessons are very important for this business. It is recommended to read them as we are receiving them, and to slowly get into principles of Internet marketing. If you read them every day, you will find which of them is the most useful for you, what part of working you haven't understood and where you need more information or advice.
All lessons are excellent, important and necessary for us to read, but it's up to you to decide which of them you need at the moment.
