How do you explain to team members why VersaPoints appear to reset to zero at the start of each month?

Just keep it simple and explain that it is exactly what your question implies, the VP only APPEAR to reset to zero.

You never really lose your VP (except those that expire after 180 days) they are still all tallied for you on your VP Ledger.

The Scorecard Tab in our Affiliate Center is exactly that, it's a scorecard that let's you keep track of how you are doing each month and give you an idea of what your commissions will be the following month.

How important is it that your family embrace your SFI business...and what if they don't?

Your family will never embrace your SFI business unless you have embraced it 100%.
Even then, there is no guarantee that they will even be interested in hearing about what you're doing (my wife still calls it "that sketchy Internet business" even though I am in profit with the program).

This is no big deal.
As long as you are committed to making your SFI business a success, I can guarantee that your family will embrace it once you start showing them your new life style

Which is better for a fairly new ECA? Limit shipping to my region while my business grows or ship internationally from the start?

One of the main benefits of opening an ECA store is to expand your market outside you region, worldwide if possible.

Unless you are selling furniture or other items that would require being shipped in containers rather than small boxes or envelopes, I would recommend that you do a little research about shipping prices and calculate an average into your product prices.

Don't limit yourself to a small area when there are people from over 100 countries that can see your ECA store

Should a person go for the rank of Team Leader if they don't yet have a team?

Definitely!!

It's impossible to become a Team Leader without a team, because as soon as you qualify for EA you get at least two CSAs.

A lot of people don't consider CSAs as part of their team. This is a mistake.
You will find that your CSAs are a great asset to your team (and your income).

Also, remember, there are two kinds of leaders.
Those with the "Do as I say." attitude, and those with the "Do as I do." attitude.
It is important

How do you motivate your downline to spend money monthly to maintain EA status without sounding greedy?

While I understand the importance of having a Standing Order for 1500VP or more, we need to remember that EA status can be gained by 1500VP gained by either purchases OR sales.

Psychologically speaking, most people resist giving something up (spending), but readily accept the prospect of gaining something. With that in mind, I have found that you will run in to much less resistance showing your downline how to sell TripleClicks items, for which they receive both commissions and VP before

What can I do with affiliates who become EA in the first month and then stop, saying SFI is not what they expected?

If they have actually told you that SFI is not what they expected, then they are already way ahead of 99.9% of those who stop.

I would tell them to go ahead and take their time looking for anything that even comes close to SFI.

Remind them that there is no need to cancel their account. If they do find something they like better then their account will automatically be deleted after one year of inactivity. When they don't find anything better, be sure to let them know that they

If you already have your five future PTLs identified (per THE PLAN), should you keep developing more first-level stars?

Success in this business is based on duplication.
We need to lead by example.

As soon as you stop developing first level affiliates, chances are you're team will follow your example and will stop doing the same. This will lead to your five future PTLs stagnating their growth before they ever get there and you will end up back where you started from, looking for people to develop.

It seems it would be better to take the direct route, help your five continue to grow while

How can we get across to our affiliates that investing minor (at least) amounts of money into SFI is smart?

First of all it's important that our affiliates know that SFI is their (new) home-based business and that they should treat it accordingly.

As with any business, there will have to be an investment of both time and money in order for the business to grow. SFI does have it set up so you can make money without spending anything, however this will really limit your earnings. In order to maximize your earning potential, the smart thing to do is invest in your business.

What is a good financial budget to start with for SFI?

This is a very "personal" matter for each affiliate since everyone's situation is different.

In my case, I have been on a budget of $56.00 per month since I started (that's what it costs for my Standing Order) and have not spent anything above that except to pay for auctions I've won, purchases of "non-SFI" items from TripleClicks, etc.

There were, of course, several months where I was spending more than was coming in, but I have been in profit for the last

Should I promote the ECA program to businesses that are not online and/or do not currently use the Internet?

These may actually be your best prospects for the ECA program.

Consider that businesses already online may or may not see the benefits of expanding to another site to sell their products/services. They may also have the attitude that they know all there is to know about selling online.

On the other hand, there are literally thousands (possibly millions) of companies that want to be online, but have no idea of where to start. The idea of having to set up a website and everything
