To start with, most students have something in common - they need extra cash and have good internet and communication skills and are already active on social networks. Also, they are probably not willing to skip social events and hanging out with friends for the sake of business.

So, that's what I believe should be your starting point. Emphasize that this is a job which can be done anywhere, from computer, phone, iPad or any other similar device, while sitting in a cafe or having a break during studying, and that they will be able to earn significant pocket money within three months just using their communication skills. Don't forget to promise them some fun while playing the games, as most young people are very fond of them and enjoy adrenaline boosts. Explain that they don't need to invest much time every day, on some days they can only do the daily tasks and on others, when they have more free time, they can read and advertise more, and make up for what they missed.

How to approach them? Through social networks, of course, but you can also distribute flyers in college halls or canteens, or cafes and similar venues which are likely to be students' favorite gathering places.

This is a good question. I've been experimenting with my classified ads and here are the 6 classifications which seem to be most attractive to our future prospects:

1) it's FREE TO JOIN (if you pay attention to other similar programs advertised, you'll notice that most of them imply some kind of entrance fee)
2) NO CREDIT CARD REQUIRED(now, this is a real eye-catcher for many people around the world who are not familiar with internet payment, some countries are not even eligible for PayPal)
3) MULTIPLE STREAMS OF INCOME (through your own sales, recruiting, auctions, advertising of TripleClicks products, etc, to suit everybody's preference)
4) FREE TRAINING AND UPLINE SUPPORT (because there are many people who want to give internet marketing a chance and who are hard workers, but hestitate because they have no prior knowledge or experience)
5) 16 YEARS OF SUCCESSFUL WORK (people feel more confident with programs which have been around and survived for a long time)
6) it's FUN (with all those fortune games and auctions one can also have a good time while working)

In my opinion, those are the classifications which distinguish SFI among other alike programs. And if you add an eye-catching pic to it - your ad will most certainly be noticed and read by many.

Well, I guess there are people who join SFI only because they expect to get rich over night, or maybe just out of curiosity. There are several things we can do to make clear this is a real business.

To start with, you can point it out in your ads that this is not a get rich quick scheme, so that those looking to get rich in a day or two won't even try to register.

Secondly, when you make the first contact with a new affiliate, you should make it clear from the start that this business takes time and patience to achieve your goals, that you actually need to work hard, at least a couple of hours a day, and that it involves a lot of reading and learning, advertising, communication, thinking, planning. Some of my affiliates even asked me right after their registration if I have already earned anything, and I tell them the truth - this is my second month and I have earned just a tiny bit, but I don't expect to earn much in the first 6 months. I explain to them that they will not earn anything unless they put time and effort into building their teams. Some of them might give up right after that, but I don't consider it a waste because only serious workers are what I really need in my team.

If they choose to try anyway, continue setting an example for them. They'll look up to you for guidance and orientation, and if they see that YOU are serious and hard-working, chances are that they will follow that path. Send regular team mails with news which confirm that your efforts were not in vain and you are climbing up the ladder slowly but constantly.

As a matter of fact, there's no SO which can adequately substitute 125 TCredits in terms of price/worth ratio.

However, if you’re willing to invest more, I would suggest a combination of 100 TCredits (1200 VP), an S-Builder co-op unit (280 VP), plus a TC Direct product like Purjava or alike, to make up for the missing 20 VP. Or, if you want to invest even more, I believe that PSAs to Go are probably the best investment.

Anyway, I would always include certain amount of TCredits and one of the ways to get PSAs, because those two are essential for you success with SFI.

I can tell you that I joined for my own sake. Yes, I have a great sponsor, and it's great to have one, I agree that it might accelerate your success, but we are all grown-ups here, able to use our heads and find our own solutions and paths to success, if we are determined to do so.

SFI provides incredibly comprehensive training - the Getting Started lessons, the Launchpad, Rules of Success, Ask Gery, Training which covers all topics from sale, sponsoring, to internet income including links to free classifieds, and so much more. There is also your Co-Sponsor who might turn out to be more willing to help. Then there's Forum, a2a communication, other uplines. All you need to do is open a tab every day and read as much as you can. Soon enough, you'll be on your track and won't miss your sponsor anymore.

There are many people here who succeeded without any help from their sponsors, and so can you, I'm sure. But, please, once you become a team leader, don't forget how you felt without your sponsor's help, and do all you can to make an awesome sponsor!

Promoting SFI and TripleClicks can be done in many different ways, but if internet marketing is your first choice – then yes, you need to have a blog or website. There are several reasons for that.

1) A personalized presentation of this business looks much more appealing and raises confidence in potential signups because you can make it prove that you are a real person, just like them
2) Facebook won’t tolerate direct SFI or TC links, even when cloaked and, sooner or later, your only chance for advertising on FB will be your own blog or website
3) Google AdWords won’t take it either. I tried to advertise my SFI gateway even directed to my own domain, but Google still declined it saying, essentially, that the site behind my domain name is not mine (this is simplified, I don’t remember the exact words) and that I’m trying to use someone else’s site as mine, which is a fraud. So, even for paid advertising on Google AdWords you need to have your own product.
4) You can make changes on your blog or website to improve their contents and appeal, and you can also provide your contact e-mail for people to ask you more about it before they decide to join.

It’s not too hard to make a blog or website, you can try the sites like Blogger, Webs, WordPress or Wix – they all guide you and provide tutorials on how to make it yourself.

My choice is strangers, and here’s why.

When I first started, I tried to talk my closest friends into it. They seemed interested, wanted to learn more about it and one of them said: “Since the suggestion comes from you, I believe it’s a good opportunity. But, I don’t want to challenge our friendship for anything like business. As I understand, your success will depend on mine, and mine on yours, and that might lead to a conflict. We don’t need that, right?”

And I believe she was right. So I stopped looking for signups from among my friends and family, and concentrated on internet marketing. Your sense of responsibility for a person’s success is definitely stronger if it’s your friend or family member and that might burden you and make you feel uncomfortable, things they do wrong might irritate you and still you’ll probably suppress the bad feelings – and there you go, your friendship will no longer be a friendship but a stressful business relationship.

I’m not saying that it’s impossible. All I’m saying is that you need to be very careful when choosing friends you want to suggest SFI to. If those people show immense interest and determination – why not, give it a try. Just make sure they don’t like doing this for your sake, just for their own.

It’s perfectly OK to promote your products to affiliates! They are your target market!

- Connect to as many ECAs as you can and send them brief introductory greetings.

- There’s a POST NEWS box next to your product list, use it to announce new items in your shop.

- Send periodical e-mails to ECAs you’re connect with, when you have a special offer or deal.

- Submit your listed items for HOT DEALS and CLOSEOUTS, so that everybody can see them when searching for good deals.

In a word, we are all marketers here, and we all understand that every product needs marketing. Make your advertisements brief and informative, and avoid using annoying and pushing phrases such as YOU MUST HAVE IT, BUY IT NOW, THE BEST DEAL EVER, or anything pompous like that. In my experience, most people turn away from such ads because they seem fake. Just keep it simple, to the point, containing only the necessary information.

I find it wise to draw your affiliates' attention to the garage sale option first. Most people pile up unnecessary and even unused things, just because they have no idea what to do with them, or simply put them aside and forget they have them. They just need to be reminded. Once they start selling their stuff, chances are that they will also take a look at other people's lists and probably notice something they would like to have themselves, then maybe get some new ideas about what they could sell, and so on, and so on.

Also, it is of utmost importance not to be pushy! If you are too pushy, people will just ignore you or even believe that you just want to trick them. Do you enjoy shopping when a sales-person keeps asking you what you're looking for, offering her/his help excessively and following you around the store? I don't! Actually, that usually drives me out of the store! It's good to ask yourself how you would feel in another person's shoes, and approach people exactly as you would like others to approach you.

You may discretely draw their attention to some specific items which you yourself find useful, appealing and affordable. But, again, don't do it too often and don't ask for feedback.

Where is the borderline which should not be crossed?

In my opinion, every sponsor should make the first step towards establishment of communication with downline members. You should send weekly mail to all your PSAs, with some general reminders and hints, each time on a different subject: explain the green line, the difference between action and sales VP, advantages of SO, recommend W3 and explain the benefits, etc. Then you should contact each of your PSAs by a personal e-mail, and see where it takes you. If the PSA is irresponsive, don’t push, try again in a couple of days, but if the PSA readily replies and shows interest in getting to know you and to communicate more frequently – go for it! In other words, you need to respect each person’s own limits and approach them carefully, because you don’t want to drive them away either by heaps of mail and advice or by complete absence of interest.

As concerns the point that you should not go beyond – well, you should not do their tasks for them. You may want to use Skype or phone to explain something in the beginning and for the first time, but don’t let your affiliates rely on you too much. They really need to read and learn a lot by themselves, maybe even make some mistakes on the way, so as to become successful and able to be someone else’s sponsors in the future. For example, if your affiliate doesn’t know how to set up a co-op, you can show it to him/her the first time, but if he/she asks that again – just refer them to the link where they can read about it.

It’s very similar to raising kids – you want to teach them, lead by example, but also to let them grow up as independent individuals able to take care of themselves.
