How do you know if you are capable of building a successful SFI business?

There is an old saying - If you think you can, you are right. If you think you can't, you are right.

Everyone who has the right mind set is capable of building a successful SFI business. When you see Affiliates from very poor countries qualifying as EA, EA2, BTL etc, if they can do it, anybody can. But these successful people, know what they want and are determined to get it.

All you have to do is read all the SFI literature, drive your sponsor and upline crazy with questions

How do I encourage an affiliate to remain active when they feel they've been demoted?

By demoted I presume dropping back from BTL to EA2 or EA2 to just affiliate or something similar for higher ranks.

It is not the end of the game. Look at why you dropped back. Did one or more EA2s fail to perform last month. If you remained in contact with them was that your fault? No.

Did you risk not qualifying by relying on Downline efforts which did not eventuate? That was your fault and you can correct it next time. Never count on others but be grateful when they contribute.

How can I earn 1000 AVP for the status of BTL if I do not have any team members yet?

This question applied to me last month when for the first time not one of my PSAs made it to EA2. If you apply my formula, you will make it easily.

I assume that you are getting 1500 Sales VP by buying 125 TCredits. If this is a Standing Order you get a bonus 100 AVP.

If you go to your Daily TO-DO list every day, and you should be doing this every day anyway, there are 12 free AVP to be got every day. By using your TCredits - 1 per day on each, you can get an extra AVP on Eager

Just encourage all your PSA's and CSA's to get 1500 VP every month. Take them figuratively by the hand. Analyze their VP Ledgers and tell them what they have to do to get to EA or EA2. They can't get to EA2 before they become EA, so you need as many getting to EA each month as possible so that you have something to work with the following month.

You can offer incentives to all who upgrade their rank. Try to get as many as possible to commit to a Standing Order of 1500 VP. I reassign PSA's

What are the best ways by which one can measure his/her success in SFI?

Success is relative depending on individual circumstances. Just getting to EA2 can be an enormous achievement for some but nothing for others.

Looking at the individual badges one has can be an indicator of success. Foe example.I am very proud of my 90 Daily VersaPoint Streak badge, and when I'm a bit discouraged because things might be a bit slow, I look at that badge and say to myself "you are a winner. You have achieved more than 95% of your fellow Affiliates. Tou are a Success".

Can I be successful in SFI without investing any money? And if so, how?

You can but it is not easy.

As soon as you join, get into the habit of doing the DAILY ACTIONS every day without fail and reviewing your TConnect weekly. These actions are purely to get into the habit of doing them, but wait until the start of the next month before doing anything else, so that you have got a full month to work in.

While waiting for the new month to start become a WAVE 3 member. This action is not currently available while SFI re-works it but the old Wave 3

How can affiliates residing outside of the United States promote Privacy Maxx--which is available only to United States residents?

Most affiliates living outside US will have contacts within US. Email contacts. Facebook contacts. Twitter contacts. They can advertise in International Magazines such as Time, newspapers circulating across the US such as the New York Times or the Wall Street Review, list on Craigs List or use banner ads on websites.
This is a very attractive product and with 300 million people in the US, there should be no shortage of buyers and with the also attractive commission no shortage of sellers.

What would you say to a PSA who states that their goal is to find an online job involving filling out forms and typing?

This is a business not a job.

Take a retail business for example. You need to find a shop and negotiate a lease. You have to outfit the shop with say carpets, shelving, cash register etc. You need to have the power and phone connected and the shelves stocked. You may need to interview staff before opening. All of these take time and money.

Why should I invest in SFI?

There are 2 ways to succeed in SFI - the hard way and the easy way.

It is quite easy to qualify EA in the first month, but having used up most of the high Action VP in that month, it is almost impossible to get to EA2 without investing money. The only ways it can be done without money are sponsoring PSA's with money who can get you to EA2 if you have enough of them or by selling stuff through TripleClicks on either TConnect or their own ECA site.

I think a lot of answers are missing the point - How much does it cost to advertise in each country?

Free advertising is obvious - you go where you get the best result. For example take 2 English speaking countries - Australia and New Zealand. As an Australian I would go for New Zealand every time. Kiwis are very competitive and their economy is not as good as Australia's. Australians are more laid back and comfortable although very competitive too.
So I would go with NZ before Australia
