Of course it can. Offline marketing will be a much more personal approach than the online one. Online marketing may tend to be impersonal in that you just see an ad, click it and read a website and then decide for yourself if this is something for you.

In offline marketing the same may happen, you just read an ad in a newspaper or magazine, get interested, create a desire and you act upon it, but there are more personal ways of advertising too. You may for instance put an ad about a meeting you organize, and then you have personal contact. Or you can do it over the phone. SFI usually provides you with all information you need to contact the affiliate both online and offline.

Since you mention you have a lot of experience in this field, working your SFI business offline should be very much rewarding. Arm yourself with gift cards, flyers, business cards etc, which you can download free at the Marketing Aids page or buy some cards at the Tripleclicks store.

Hi John,

$100 would buy you 3 months of EA membership. I would advise you to buy each month a Standing Order of 100 Tcredits at $29 a month. Better to keep the rest for the next months, unless you will have another $100 next month of course. In this case, if $100 is what you can spend on SFI on a monthly basis, I would advise you to get some S-Builder co-op shares as well, buy some Tripleclicks digital or standard Gift Cards to hand out to your friends and family, or just buy as many Tcredits as possible and try to win a Pricebenders auction. Keep in mind you will then also have to pay for the auction if you are a winner.

There are many options with SFI and you will have to see what you like the best. Personally, I go on a Standing Order of Tcredits and a Radio SFI membership, but I also buy other things from Tripleclicks, like vitamins, S-Builder co-op, and other useful stuff for home.

To set up successful marketing, you will need to do a lot of testing. Like we saw in another Ask SC question, it is very important to make use of the SFI Keycodes and hit tracking tools. Then, choose both free and paid advertising, if you don't know where to advertise, google for some good resources. I installed an Alexa toolbar in my browser to see which sites are doing good or which ones aren't getting much traffic. If they are at the top of the google results, they will definitely get some good traffic, but you never know. Better is to double check with Alexa.

You may advertise free in traffic exchanges, safelists, listbuilders. Paid advertising may be pretty cheap at some places. Classified ads sites may be free or may be for a small fee, or have an upgrade function where you can attract more attention to your ad. Like I said, you have to keep testing and once you have found a good source of leads, you must scale your advertising. This means that the more time or money you invest in it, the more results you should be making.

First of all, when you start a contest for your downline, you will attract some attention to you as a Team Leader. We all like to win prizes and when you as a Team Leader show that you are serious about SFI by willing to put some prizes on the table, which you fund of course, they will see that you are not afraid of spending some money for them, and thus, they may get inspired to spend some money to advance their SFI business too.

I have been running a monthly contest for my team since the first month I re-activated my SFI affiliate membership and my affiliates love me for it. The criteria I put to win a prize of 5 Tcredits is that they should become an EA by the end of the month.

There are many ways to advertise. If you have a lot of friends on Facebook or a lot of followers on Twitter, post links to different TripleClicks products daily.

You can grab your link to promote when opening the product at the store, then clicking the SFI Affiliates button at the top right corner of the page. I also successfully generated full pages with search results, by typing in any keyword in the top search bar, then when the page generates a list of products all related to your given keyword, click the top SFI Affiliates Click Here button, and a link will be generated which list all of your search results. This way, when people open your link, they get a variety of products from which they can choose.

As for places to advertise, I have good experience with safelists. Google search for safelists, sign up to a few and post your links daily.

You may also find a site which allows you to create a free splashpage. Then go to Marketing tab, Pricebenders and click the link which says 'dynamic banners'. Copy the code for one of these banners into the html editor at the splashpage generator and promote the link you generated in this way on safelists and traffic exchanges. These banners show the latest winners at the Pricebenders auctions. When people become interested, they will click the banner and automatically sign up as your TripleClicks referral. In order to participate in the auctions, they need Tcredits and there you go, you sold some Tcredits.
