i believe that motivation comes with in yourself, but sometimes we need role models in our life for example we strat with our parents then we moved to our teachers in school and then after your boss at work but what happens its that you had been always told what to do and when you are facing with a business like SFI you get confuse because really you are in business for yourself but not by yourself what i mean is you need to take actions on your own and be self productive, we weren't born like that but we can learn and im about to talk about the 5 points in your SFI business that you need to apply to motivate your Team.!

1. YOU MUST LEAD BY EXAMPLE. you know what they said, you can't ask people to do what you are not willing to do yourself, its crucial to lead by example you need to do things yourself first, examples, standing orders, E365 Champion, Wave3 member, top enroller, top 500 VP, Team leader, having all badges, participate in games, competitions and auctions ect.. believe me your team its always watching what you doing.!

2. COMMUNICATION. you need to communicate with everyone in your downline not only with those in your Movers tab but everyone, PSA, generation 2,3,4,5,6 and CSA's as well, its your business you need to be on top of it, I personally communicate with my entire downline, don't be shy or afraid you will find out the most people are very nice plus you will make alots of friends, go to your genealogy and pick last login and click in their names and if you see they are online send them a chat just do it even if they don't respond be persistence.!

3. REWARDS AND COMPETICION. you need to reward those hard workers in your team, set up a contest even if you don't get participants at least you are setting the stage for many people to come, reward with, gift certificates, Tcredicts, Reassignments, congratulations letters, post in your stream what your intentions are, even if you don't have anybody just practice, practice and practice, because repetition its the mother of learning.!

4. SET IT CO-OP AND SUPPORT. if you are a team leader already you should know by now on how to recruit and promote, so if you get new affiliates you need to create a co-op for your team, PSA, and all generations that way you will build your other generations your goal should be to create a residual income of 12 generations deep, do it work at it right now believe me you wont regret it, but along the way you need to support everyone who showns interest in SFI, i had being doing SFI for almost 3 years and i love this company they have never fail.!

5. RECOGNICION. you have to recognize your winners your fighters and your movers at anytime you can by emails, stream post and rewards these are people who are committed to make it happen, but at the same time don't forget about the others they need your direction and advice as well.!

Consistently do this things and you will start creating momentum on your team .!

Matching Versa Points.

Your team member needs to see that becoming a team leader unlocks additional income streams and tools, the most important of which is matching VP. As you recruit people and they become active and recruit people your network can grow quite large. In less than a year of actively promoting my total network is nearly 1600 people and I can earn matching VP on up to 900 of those members as they become EA2 or Team Leaders.

If i earn 1500VP through actions each month and 1500VP through sales to become a Bronze Team Leader, I would earn about $1.50 off my own 3,000VP earned. But say I have 5 who have 5 who are also BTL I would get another $45 a month in matching VP just from my first 2 levels of downline. Continue that down 6 levels and it becomes a really nice income all while I just have 5 good active members.

The potential is amazing but you can't earn off any Versa Points unless you are an EA2, and you only earn off matching VP if you are a Bronze Team Leader or better. The higher your rank the more levels of downline you profit from, up to 12 levels deep.

Becoming a Team Leader will happen naturally if they are working their business. Even if they don't spend money to get sales VP they can get sales VP by referring others who spend money at TripleClicks. As they promote and grow their team the action VP will reach the 1,000 to 1500 required to be a team leader on auto pilot as well.

The best time to be a team leader is when you actually have a team to lead so don't rush them or they wont see the benefits and will think you are only after the money of a standing order. Fact is matching VP will pay you far more than you would earn off a standing order x 5 referrals.

What is the best way to motivate members of my down-line to become Team Leaders and not stay EAs?

Love your question – I would assume that you are already holding a team leader position. Every affiliate who has reached this level should be thinking of how he/she can motivate their down-line EA2s to push on to a team leader level.

I noticed many answers have already suggested that you can share information on how you obtained that level yourself. Some answers gave a list of perks you can send to your down-line in hopes that they will desire the same. Some have even suggested sending them a copy of your income voucher as proof of the money that can be made. (That’s a no-no)

So far all of the answers I have read have merit and are good methods of ways to attempt to entice your EA2s to keep pushing forward. It is a small thing to send this type of information to your EA2s by using the several different ways of communication through SFI and TripleClicks.

What we need to realize is that most of your down-line will not be able to copy what you are presently doing because of many variable reasons when dealing in a global enterprise. Some of those problems deal with the Country they live in, family problems, lack of computer access and Internet service, financial difficulties and many other reasons.

All the problems listed above need to be taken into account when dealing with your affiliates that are maintaining an EA2 level. If you push them to much (information overload) they may pack up and leave never to try again.

The best plan I can come up with for motivating my EA2s to become team leaders is to be an Awesome Sponsor. The people who are workers and movers in your down-line are going to be there for a long time (if they are not given a reason to leave) so you need to build up their trust in the system and in you as their leader. They need to see that you are not just trying to line your billfold/purse with their efforts.

Many answers to this question has made the suggestion of giving your EA2s re-assigned affiliates that have over 600 VP within the last 90 days - This is a great idea and it may motivate a few affiliates to start trying to build their team up enough to reach a team leader spot.

I personally take this one step further – I give them new affiliates, this way if the affiliates are active then your EA2s will receive up to 45% commissions from their down-line instead of only 15% from re-assigned affiliates. Do this enough times with your movers and you will see many of your EA2s moving into leadership positions. (By the way I do not charge them any co-op fees; I do this for them free of charge).

Did you lose money doing this? Good question. No – any investment you make in your personal business will bring you more income than you originally spent. At the same time you will be building trust, loyalty and friendship. Without which, you will have no business to speak of.

You ask – “Are you doing this now?” Yes I am. You ask again “How many team leaders do you have on your front line or in your personal group?” Right at this moment I do not have a “mover” on my front line. “Well then how can you suggest that others do this?”

I do what all smart team leaders are doing and that is working with those who are workers and movers and at this time they are all CSAs. As much as I can, I treat all my affiliates the same. Why not? They are in my team therefor if they make money – guess what – so do I.

They need to know and appreciate the value of being a Team Leader, its benefit and perks as well as the associated responsibilities and also how rewarding it can be.

I would start with the Benefits Chart at https://www.sfimg.com/Reference/ComparisonChart that clearly outlines the major difference between an EA and a Team leader – I would pointout in particularly - VersaPoint Matching and the monthly allotments of Second Home CSAs that a Team Leader receives.

I would explain VersaPoints Matching and how lucrative this could be but they need to be Team leaders with active team members.

I would also speak about Second Home CSAs. About how they become Second home CSAs and the fact that they are part of their teams and that as a Team Leader you benefit from their activities with matching VP etc.. Obviously, the more CSAs they have the better.

I would also point out to them that as a Team Leader they also receive VP for persons they sponsor and support to EA2 and above level each month. They can find this in the ‘To-Do-List.’ https://www.sfimg.com/Home?tab=to-do_list

They also need to know that as team leader and to greatly benefit from it they will need to lead a team. That means building a team of their own, sponsoring and teaching them. That could be difficult, especially if money is an issue for them.

There are many of our more senior affiliates who stress not rushing to TL until you have a team under you to help supply the required VPs. This idea does have good merit, but is mentally limiting.

BTL can be maintained without a very active team, but you will end up needing to spend at least some money to maintain it. SO for the full 1500 VPs or more would be pretty much a necessity. Willingness/ability to buy TCredits as needed to gain the AVPs required for BTL. I would not try a higher rank until they do have at least 2 active PSAs with some actives under them, it would really be very difficult to maintain.

However, I think it would be best to explain within their first few days to a week, depending on how fast they are moving, the benefit of staying EA2 until AT LEAST the middle of their second month before they try for BTL. And that also depends on how much they have learned in the first period. Studying is much easier done without the stress of knowing you have to get that additional 1000-1500 VPs to reach/maintain BTL.

I would recommend making a point to talk to each PSA, feel out their training level (regardless of how long they've been here), see how much they understand. Ask how they would explain thus and so to a new recruit, etc. See if they feel ready to reach for BTL. If so, encourage them to the best of your ability. If not, support their decision, continue with your help.

The point for you is to create a STRONG team, not have those who continually bounce back and forth between EA2 and BTL. That benefits no one, and will lead to fading PSAs.

There is an element of self interest when we force our downlines to achieve Team Leaderships when it is not yet ripe.

Because the only way to become BTL without a team is to buy items that will give them the 2000 max. VP from purchase and buy some more TC to bid or join games that can give them 500 action VP while the other 500 action VP will come from daily, weekly and monthly activities. Of course if he is good in answering ask SC he can earn additional free action VP's.

This action will cost them a lot with no equatable returns. Of course you as sponsor get a lot of commission. Its the reason why we sometimes push our downlines to become Team Leaders eve if its not yet time.

So, for me the best way to motivate members of my downlines to become Team Leaders is when they start to have a team of active members. So, I would rather encourage them to find more affiliates and apply duplication and Let the VP's that are earned from affiliates who are turning EA2 push them to Team Leadership.

It is expensive to maintain Team Leadership with out a team and it is also limited to Bronze Team Leader.

I am not totally against using money to earn Team Leader Status. Because we can also grow our SFI business through pricebenders. Many big shots here at SFI earn their way up through pricebenders. They are winning a lot of PSA's and CSA's that finally get them the VPs they need from affiliates.

Not only that, they are also winning a lot of valuable items for less and they are able to sell it at good profit. But again you need a lot of capital for this to establish your your name at Pricebender.

The answers to this question are likely to be sharply divergent. There are strong views from experienced affiliates that persons should remain as EA2s and allow their team members to take them beyond that level to Team Leader (TL). Some have even dismissed the practice of being a TL without a team as being nonsensical, not earning/working for TL but buying rank. I disagree. I could even argue that relying on your downline to take you to TL could be considered predatory practice.
I would motivate my downline to advance in rank (if they are open to the suggestion) by impressing upon them the following:
1. As a Team Leader you get a share of Second Home CSAs each month which turns out to be about 60 or so affiliates. I know of no better way to build your team. In fact, my CSAs are more active than my PSAs that I have bought through S-Builder Co-op, PSAs to Go and at ECA stores as well as those that I recruit from my warm market. This means from a strictly financial perspective, my Second Home CSAs which I receive for maintaining BTL rank are better value for money;
2. Contrary to popular belief, you are not ‘buying rank’. I have a monthly S/O which earns me 1500VPs. I make other purchases to build my business-Gift Cards, Hits to my Gateways, referrals, etc. that usually give me another 500 sales VPs. These are legitimate purchases that any affiliate who is serious about building his/her business will make (as long as he can afford to). These purchases earn me AVPs which when added to my daily, weekly and monthly tasks give me the required 1,000 AVPs for me to retain rank.
3. I would put some of my movers under my aspiring TLs to help boost their business and push them upward and forward
4. Start a co-op that invites the participation of those in the EA and above rank.
We should proactively encourage our team members to move forward in their business in keeping with the SFI motto: AIM HIGH, DREAM BIG.

The best way will be for you as their sponsor to have read and understood the activities of this business. You must always be knowledgeable enough and only then you can convince them.

A business needs time to grow and even more time to bloom so nothing happens overnight.

I always ask my PSA / CSA what they really want from this business and if they have additional funds to pump in. If their answer to the latter is yes then I always encourage them to buy TCredits (which rewards MRP's handsomely) and play games on TripleClicks where they can get more TCredits when they win.

The other option that I focus on is duplication where they can get matching Versa Points.

You also have to send out motivating team messages to show your interest in their success and motivate them by rewarding them with PSA's and CSA's.

Becoming a Team Leader is your highest goal. If you have a team you will want to become a Team Leader. Why? Because Team Leaders earn Matching Versa Points on all EA2s and CSAs in your downline. This is where the big earnings are made. For every month you qualify as Team Leader you will receive one share of Second Home CSAs around the 15th of the following month. Usually I receive some number over 50 CSAs.

You will also want to lead by example. If you want your downline to aim high you will want to set the bar ahead of them. Never expect or ask any of your downline to do what you were not willing to do yourself. Teach them to duplicate what you've done. Once a Team Leader you will also be given a Leadership Page. This is a great training tool for your team. Maintain it well and remind your team members to visit it regularly for updates.

What better way is there to being an Awesome Sponsor than as a Team Leader?

If one of your PSA's becomes a Team Leader, but has little or no downline at this time, they probably would not earn any commissions. So that you can boost their morale, encourage them with a gift certificate of whatever value you can afford.

Of course, you may want to make sure that reward is well earned, like the PSA made EA2 first; once you start doing this, and your PSA's respond by doing things every month to retain their TL status, hopefully they would try and do the same thing with their PSA's.

In that way, you have started to generate some awesome duplication that can spread throughout your entire downline.
