Do you know that people with written goals succeed? Most people think that a “goal” has to be something big. Maybe you’ve got the impression that goals need to be about someone else’s idea, or success in some way that society has defined. The average person spends his life living out someone else dreams for so called security. You must know your true calling align your SFI career with your passion.

Do you have a goal set for your day to day SFI business? I make sure that I log in everyday, performing To-Do List, answering emails to my downlines, participating in SFI Forum, posting on Stream post and checking what’s new at TripleClicks.
If you look at the structure of the To-Do List, you can see all the goals classified that we can just follow to achieve our positions as we accumulate the required VersaPoints.

One of the goals that I have set is to become a PTL. To achieve this, I will need to be consistent in sponsoring affiliates, building teams with my downlines. I do need also to continue learning and implementing the tools and resources provided for us.

As my long term goal, I would like to achieve financial freedom by building a solid team, compose of passionate people helping other people to succeed in SFI.

"If life is a journey, how will you get there if you don’t have an itinerary? Goals tell you where you are going, how you are going to get there, and what you will do when you get there".

1. Decide what you want.

2. Start small, but keep walking. Goals don’t necessarily have to be big.

3. Match your goals to relevant areas of life. It's not unusual to have general goals that apply to all areas of your life. Things like, “I want to be successful”, or “I want to be rich”.

4. Be positive when stating your goals.

5. Don’t underestimate yourself.

6. Write it down. Putting your goal down on paper is more than just memorizing it.

7. Affirm it. Affirmation is really more than writing down, “I am going to buy my $750,000 home by Christmas”, twenty times. It’s about being conscious not only of your thought processes, but also of your acts during the day.

8. Stop procrastinating. So you’ve heard this before. Big deal. Well, it is. Time wastage is one of the greatest crimes in history.

9. Habituate yourself to liking the challenges. The most difficult thing is to like something useful.

10. Review your progress. After setting, affirming and doing, comes reviewing. It's an important reminder to keep you on the path of achieving the goals you've set yourself.

11. And above all and after all, compare the goals you set for yourself when you start working for yourself and SFI.

Setting goals in SFI is not unlike setting goals for other situations in one's life.

My suggestion is to follow this simple outline:
1.) Visit the goals tab. Let SFI guide you thorugh the goals here.
2.) Write or print these goals out. Have a copy posted where you readily see it to remind you where you want to go.
3.) When setting these goals remember to think about the time frame in which you wish to accomplish them and include that in your written/visual list.
4.) Always reach just above what you think you can actually do. It's a psychological concept that when the brain sees something, it will strive to reach that.
5.) Don't look to what other people are doing..look inside of yourself and see your potential. This will be based off your experiences and situations. (Someone who works full time may not succeed to the same level as someone who only works SFI; someone who has internet marketing experience may succeed faster than someone without that.

You are in control of your destination..not anyone else. As Mary Kay Ash used to say, "hitch your wagon to a star!" But remember that that star may burn out, so learn how to fly so you don't fall. Look for a mentor that you trust and can emulate..just remember your own limits!

Strive to land on the moon and maybe you will at least land among the stars!

There are so many articles about goal setting that looking up those will help you. I use the smart goal system by making sure I set specific, measurable, actionable, realistic and time specific goals. I do this in my business and personal life.

However on my SFI business I take another step in the goal setting process. I look at where I stand among all other affiliates. I look at my specifications and say where do I want to be on the leader boards so I make that number. For instance if I'm at position 1000 what can I do to move up to 950?

I base everything on what I know I can do and what is reachable - there is no sense setting yourself up for failure. If you know you can sponsor one person make your goal to sponsor two. Saying you can sponsor 10 is unrealistic and you are setting up for failure.

But by making it a small challenge you continue\e to grow then next month you may make it 3 or 4...with SFI I have found that it's baby steps not leaps that will make you successful.

SFI is a real business that requires individuals to establish goals in order to be successful. These goals have to be realistic and achievable within the fixed one month time frame. It is a fact that goals do energize, affect persistence, activate cognitive knowledge and focus attention to relevant activities. As a result, each month I focus on setting my goals to continue my SFI business and maintain my team leader rank.
First, I do my daily and weekly actions, engage in auctions, answer SC questions any other activities that will endow me with action points that will enable me to achieve my intended rank.
I evaluate the previous months goals and the activities in which I was engaged to get to the specific targets that SFI sets out on the Goals page. If I achieved the intended goals for the previous month, for example; I would set new targets. If I did not achieve my goals, I would evaluate to see what could have hindered my achievements and try to make necessary adjustments where possible.
During the course of the month, I exercise flexibility in addressing the set goals. In the event that I achieve particular goals by the middle of the month I increase the targets. If not I adjust the targets, as I see fit.
Additionally, I ensure that my standing order is in place - 125TCredits from which I earn VersaPoints to get me to the EA2 rank which is very important to preserving the benefits that SFI offers. I work on other goals of making additional TripleClicks purchases, product reviews.
Consequently, with these set goals, I am able to confidently continue with my SFI business.

Setting goals is a bit tricky, especially if you've not had to do that kind of thing before, but there are a few simple guidelines which can help you out
1. A goal should not be impossible, you will feel that nobody ever achieved the impossible, so what is the point trying
2. A goal should not be too easy, if you are going to hit a goal anyway you are not going to push hard to attain it
3. Set goals to further your business in appropriate ways
In my case for example, I have no capital to invest, this is a situation many people face.
Every month I have a goal to bring in customers, and I will keep that goal there until I have achieved it, and probably after that as well
Bringing in customers will provide me with some capital and allow me to progress
4. Regularly review you goals, print them out stick them on your wall, look at them and ask yourself what have I done today to achieve these goals

Other goals should include
- Advertising
- Training
- Communication
- Time Management

This is a very important question because goals are your road maps to success in SFI.
First of all you need to determine what type of goals you are setting; whether they are long term or short term goals. Think day, month then year. Ensure that these are your goals and not those of your sponsor/co sponsor. If you are going to put all of your sweat into achieving a goal, then it most definitely needs to be something that you really want to achieve.

Write down each goal in detail and state the time you want to achieve it. You should set timelines and milestones, but don’t be dejected if you don’t achieve them when the time comes. Be patient. Be positive. Be realistic. Not all your PSAs will be EA2s or Leaders.

Take time to ensure that your goals are SMART, i.e. specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timed. To avoid becoming overwhelmed list the goals in order of priorities in order of importance. It is better if you know where to start.

Organize your time and resources in the best way so that you can succeed. Exactly how much you can invest in auctions, etc. See yourself achieving the goal. Try visualizing the outcome at a time in the future. Keep your eyes set on your vision or on the outcome. Free yourself from anyone or anything negative. Don’t let anyone tell you it’s not possible.

Review them from time to time and change them as you think necessary. Apply the various tools from SFI,
As you achieve each goal, take time to congratulate and reward yourself for your efforts.

Finally, do not procrastinate. Being active is most effective. Get started and it will be easier to keep things going.

Goals are like "Beacons" in the dark, that works not only as "milestones", But also leads you all the way along to your Targets. Life itself is meaningless without goals, as one will just be rolling the ball without any aim, reason, purpose and destiny.

Setting up proper goals for yourself in SFI, is dependent upon the following factors;

*** Your "Capabilities"
*** Your "Limitations"
*** Your "Time"
*** Your "Financial Status"
*** Your "Desire, and Need to success"
*** The "Opportunities available" &
*** The "Resources available"

Set your SFI Goals by keeping in view all the above factors.

In almost everything that we do for ourselves, particularly in improving our quality of life, we should set some standards that are achievable by ourselves to attain them. By this, I mean that we should not be too aggressive to set goals that are almost impossible for us to attain nor do we set our goals that are too conservative.

Referring to the above standard set-up of goals for ourselves, setting a very high standard would result to frustration once we were unable to attain them. Likewise, if we set too conservative goals that we know are easily achievable, there is no excitement in attaining them because of the absence of challenges. Challenges motivate us, move us and inspire us. They are the hidden forces that make us feel great, happy and contented.

Setting our proper goals in SFI are dictated by the following factors and therefore, we should consider them in setting our goals in SFI:
1.) Our physical ability to achieve them.
2.) Our monetary resources to finance them.
3.) Our available time to perform tasks.
4.) Our available technical know-how to executive the tasks.
5.) Our willingness to achieve our set goals.
6.) Our closed associations with our PSAs, CSAs, A2As, uplines and SFI management.
7.) Other outside influences including global economy, domestic and global restrictions on internet marketing activities.
8.) Local and global currency fluctuations, etc.
