Blogs are personal stories about any subject you can think of. They can be very personal or they can be very businesslike and anything in between.
I wrote thousands of blogs for a Russian who had a website and needed an English writer. He would send me the subject and keywords he wanted used in a particular blog and I would write to them. Many were on subjects that were foreign to me, like the Australian Tennis Open and several others. I would spend about 15 - 20 minutes reading a lot of material on the subject and then put the information into a 300 - 500 word composite blog. It was very interesting and very time consuming. I did this for 4 years and made quite a bit of money even though I charged very little $.35 per word. His niche was commentary on current news. Finding the right niche even if you are writing a blog about SFI is important. Pick a twist on the subject that is different from what others write. Reading AskSC can help a lot. There are lots of questions that you can expand on and probably keep a blog going for some time.
Use a different approach. For instance you could write a whole blog on how you'd still do SFI if you were in outer space. That gives you a different keyword than most of them used with SFI, so some people interested in outer space might pick up the blog and read it.
Find and use pictures that pertain to your blog so that it is more interesting. Mix up your writing between serious, romantic (for instance tie it to a cruise or travel), political, newsy, comedic and many other things that hit a nerve with people. Be careful about words that are negative or bring up any emotions. Mother for instance is a stopper. People might continue to read the blog, but the reference will be in their mind and they won't get what you are saying.
Alternate between SFI and Triple Clicks products. A good niche would be product reviews. Choose a group of interesting products, purchase them and then write a review on each product.
Write about your own experiences and tie them into SFI and or TC for more interest and to broaden your blogging. Take it out of the mundane if you can.
You will not infringe on copyrighted material if you follow these suggestions. Sometimes reading other blogs can give you an idea, but you can twist that idea in a different direction or use it with different keywords.
Three hundred to 500 words are usually all you need because people don't read as much as they used to do. An occasional 1000 word blog will get read if it is really interesting, but 300 - 500 word blogs are easy and do get read. This blog is 580 words. If I were doing a really good job on this, I would rewrite it and cut it down to 300 words. The more you cram into fewer words the more your reader will like, learn and return to your blog.
